"What is the aning of this?!!" scread Logan, trying to make Hans back down and avoid a public confrontation before all the onlookers.
"Do you think you can do whatever you want now that you’re the association branch leader?!"

He scread, trying to sway the onlookers into thinking that Hans was misusing his position.
However, Logan’s words were t with retaliation from another figure who stepped into the scene and contradicted his assertion.
"Yes, he can."
With unmistakable blonde hair and blue eyes, the newcor was none other than Kenta, the newly appointed security team leader of the association branch.
"Logan Harris, as the new security team leader of Chicago city, I condemn you to death for your unforgivable cris," Kenta declared loudly, intentionally making his words clear to everyone present to understand the situation and turn the public opinion on their side.
The chat of the livestream erupted like crazy over Kenta’s proclamation…

It was an incredibly powerful class, unfortunately for Logan, however, it specialized in solo combat which employed slowly tiring down the opponent.
This ans that against powerful monsters that always needed to be raided by many, all these powers would’ve been ineffective and utterly useless.
This class which revolved around fighting solo was also the reason why the security team had weakened and rotted, becoming weaker than the security teams in any other city.
It was a perfect skill to fight criminals who needed to be restrained at the sa ti it was useful against both mages and warriors.
And now, it was Hans’s turn to face it.
"Aren’t you a little bit too shaless?! Confronting together!" Logan sneered.
"Even when facing scums, I have always faced them alone! To let them die in honor!"
Logan tried to use his words to either make them face him individually or to turn public opinion against them.
"You are misunderstanding sothing, old man. The thing is, I am not here to fight you, I have only co under the order of the leader to condemn you. The rest is up to him," announced the blonde man before stepping back onto land amidst the many spectators and observing the two.

And it wasn’t just him who felt this way. Benjamin and Sophia also ca to watch the fight, making the situation even more interesting.
Once again, all the eyes in the city were on Hans. The situation quickly made its way onto the live TV, and people started calling their friends to tell them to tune in.
Among all the awakened spectators on the streets, roofs, and street lamps, Garrison was standing atop the highest skyscraper in the city, observing the situation.
He retrieved a small device from his left pocket and launched it forward.
Soon, a blue mana shield covered the area where the two n were fighting.
It was a relatively weak barrier to prevent the residents from getting caught up in the fight. If any of the two wanted to get out, they could do so with a single attack.
"Hey kid, tell , do you really think… you can take on alone!!!" Logan taunted, his vicious black aura spreading all over the place, making the water that wasn’t frozen waver as he unsheathed the black sword that hung on his waist.

The impact of the attack was strong enough to result in the formation of a huge crack in the barrier, surprising Garrison.

The spells that bypassed Logan exploded a few seconds later, cracking and destroying the icy river surface or encountering the almost broken barrier and weakening it even further.
When the distance between them closed enough and Hans entered the range of Logan’s skill {Cursed Cage}, the man imdiately seized the opportunity and used his {Cursed Speech} shouting, attacking Hans from the side with his sharp sword.
Hans opted to take the curse head-on, knowing that constantly struggling to maintain distance from Logan would only handicap him since he hadn’t mastered any movent or flying spells.
For soone like Hans, who possessed incredibly high wisdom, taking the curse head-on wasn’t as detrintal as it would be for others.
Although his wisdom decreased by 165, it didn’t affect him much as it remained well over a thousand.
’Don’t go around boasting so much about your power in your next life, kid," Logan thought as his sword swiftly approached Hans’s throat.
Witnessing this, both Garrison and KENTA prepared to intervene, concerned that Hans had underestimated his opponent.
However, a chilly aura once again enveloped Hans’s body, and a thick frozen armor resembling a dragon’s claw encased his arm, shielding him from the attack and blocking the blade.
The shockwave from the clash slightly cracked the ice beneath Hans’s feet but didn’t even do as much to scratch his clothes, let alone his neck.
Hans’ cold eyes bore right into Harris’s soul, and a cold heartless voice that almost didn’t seem to belong to Hans, emanated from his throat, "It is who should be asking…
