Hans passed by all their previous hunting spots to collect the corpses with telekinesis before heading towards the exit.
Just an E-rank gate didn’t bring much inco, especially compared to what he was about to receive by selling the tortoises’ bodies, but leaving the monsters there seed like a waste of Ember’s efforts, so he decided to bring them all.
Also, since they had been hunted by his little friend without much resistance the bodies were almost completely untouched, making them the perfect source for materials like hide and claws or fangs.
They would sell for a little bit more because of their perfect condition.

But these thoughts didn’t last long, since, on the verge of eruption because of all the noise, he threw the monster carcasses inside the truck with his {telekinesis} before flying up in the air and leaving the place without looking back.
In the anti, Ember, who was hidden under his shirt, peeked at the ground beneath them from just below Hans’s chin.
After a couple of minutes, they landed back on the Academy’s ground, and she slithered down Hans’s leg.
"I’m sorry we couldn’t stay there any more than we did, I would’ve let you raid another gate but with all those people around us it wouldn’t have been that much fun for the both of us I guess."
Even if they had to terminate their trip earlier than planned, Ember didn’t seem to be sad, instead, she was pretty enthusiastic after spending so much ti hunting with Hans.

Hans’s dad caught it, and then gave it to him, who was waiting just behind.

After a bit of hesitation, the little Hans yelled:
