The sound of Alayne’s hips pounding onto Eren echoed clearly through the small room, the rhythm raw and unrelenting. She leaned forward into him, her bare chest pressed hard to his, gasping for breath as her hips worked him with near-lethal intensity. Eren grunted under the assault, every motion threatening to push him past his limit.

Outside the door, Mira froze mid-step at the noise, her face shifting from curiosity to worry. She made to enter, but Velira, standing beside her, held up a hand.

"She might be doing... procedures," Velira said after a pause, her tone deliberately asured. "Churgeon Alayne doesn’t tolerate breaches of her requests." The words were ant to reassure, but Velira’s eyes followed Mira’s with a glimr of unease.

By their side, Bavrik’s brows furrowed. "The sound coming from the room... it’s a bit irking. Will we be able to et him after her procedure?"

Velira turned to him, judgent flickering in her gaze. "Depends on Churgeon Alayne. She didn’t bring her tools, or even a bag. Did she co here only to check?"

She paused, then added, "Why don’t you go for a round of drinks with the other commanders? I’ll stay here to check on Eren and Alayne."

Bavrik stood silent for a mont, weighing her words, then nodded and looked toward Mira. "I might have to trouble this lady," he said.

Mira’s worry softened into a warm smile. "Oh, don’t worry. That’s why there’s a tavern." She guided Bavrik and the others toward the hall where the rest of the n sat. As they settled, she said, "I’ll bring the drinks," and excused herself toward the kitchen.

Velira stayed in the corridor outside Eren’s room, the muffled sounds still audible. Sothing about them gnawed at her. The rhythm faltered for a few monts—just long enough to make her strain her ears—before returning faster, more ravenous.

She told herself it couldn’t be that. Churgeon Alayne was known for her odd thods, but this...? Her mind spun with the possibilities until frustration finally overtook hesitation.

"Alright," she muttered under her breath, squaring her shoulders. "If Churgeon Alayne gets angry, I’ll buy her a few gifts. But this is better than standing here letting my thoughts run wild."

Her hand inched toward the doorknob.

Inside, Eren was gasping for air. His body was already at its limit, every downward thrust from Alayne driving him closer to breaking. She was relentless, chest bare and slick with sweat, her form rising and falling in a constant, desperate rhythm. She gasped between movents, but never slowed, never eased the pressure.

In the dim light, she looked like a fevered angel—one who lived only for the pleasure of the mont. Eren’s eyes locked on her as his body accepted every ounce of her ferocity.

The doorknob turned.

Alayne’s gaze snapped toward it. She froze mid-thrust. But the mont her movents stopped, the thin thread holding Eren’s control snapped. Without her wild pace to keep him on edge, the dam broke. His release surged through her with sudden, shocking force, his body convulsing beneath her.

The blast hit Alayne like a jolt of lightning inside her walls. Her thighs buckled, muscles losing control as she clamped down around him. The loss of tension made her drop hard against his pelvis with a sharp smack. Eren’s already massive length drove deeper, stretching her in ways that made her walls ache.

She had thought she’d grown accustod to his size. She had been wrong.

Her moan tore free before she could contain it—long, loud, and raw. "Kyaaaaaahhhh!" The sound rang through the tavern.

Velira’s eyes widened at what she saw through the brief gap, and she slamd the door shut.

Down the hall, chairs scraped against the floor. Bavrik was already moving, crossing the space in seconds. Mira, having just stepped out of the kitchen, rushed to join him.

Velira’s mind scrambled for an excuse. Bavrik stopped at the door, his hand going to the knob. "Let look," he said, his tone already edged with command.

Mira stood beside him, glancing between Velira and the door. She wanted to see for herself.

The image Velira had just witnessed burned in her mind, muddling her thoughts. She needed sothing to say—anything to keep them from seeing.

Bavrik’s eyes locked on hers, voice turning cold. "Get aside, Company Commander Velira." The authority of a battalion leader weighed heavy in the order.

Mira hesitated but spoke softly, hand pressed to her chest. "Lady Velira... why don’t you move aside?" There was worry in her tone, and sothing pleading in her expression.

The hallway was filling fast. The other commanders crowded in, barely fitting in the narrow space. All eyes turned to Velira, expecting her to step away.

Bavrik’s voice hardened. "I won’t ask twice. Get aside."

She opened her mouth, grasping for an excuse, but before she could speak, his hand landed on her shoulder. "I’m sorry, Company Commander Velira. But I’ll have to do it."

Her gaze dropped to his hand, her thoughts whirling. Her thoughts scattered, heart pounding. She prayed he wouldn’t open the door—not for Alayne’s sake, but for Eren’s.

The boy who’d saved her from that beast. And for another reason entirely— that she now realized, he ant sothing more to her—one that made her cheeks heat whenever she admitted it to herself.

In this world, no one looked at Velira as a woman. She was a fighter, a weapon, a na with a reputation. n noticed her only for her skill, her usefulness—but nobody as a woman—not for the curves of her body or the softness of her skin.

In the capital, she’d seen won with small chests and slim legs receive admiration and attention simply for existing—the luxury that she had never been granted.

Except with him.

Eren... Eren had cared for her.

Not as a commander, not as a weapon—but as a woman.

He had given her sothing she hadn’t expected—he’d been the first to make her feel that way—an experience that had lingered in her mind far more than she cared to admit.

The first to see her that way.

And she wasn’t about to let anyone take that from her.

Her hand rose, pushing Bavrik’s grip away.

Her voice, when it ca, was steady despite the storm in her chest. "I can’t let you do that."
