Wearing a white coat and a face covered in make-up, a tall lady sat down on a plastic chair situated next to a large ambulance.

Twirling her finger around the end of her ponytail, the lady kept tapping on her phone, scrolling through and occasionally typing sothing.
However, feeling sothing quickly moving in her direction, the lady finally got her head out of her phone. Only...

A bloodied person was carried in on a gurney. Even worse, that person was actually none other than the Hero of Light!

The lady almost lost her mind from seeing this much blood. This wasn’t within her expectations at all.

She was promised that this assignnt would be a piece of cake, that nobody would get hurt, that she was only there to fill an unnecessary vacancy...
That was the only reason that she accepted the urgent recruitnt for a position as dangerous as this.
"Hey, why are you the one who’s panicking? Aren’t you supposed to be a Combat Healer?! Hurry and stitch her up!"
Unlike his previously subservient attitude, the man in the disheveled paradic shirt showed complete disregard for the tall lady.
The only reason that soone like her was picked was precisely to do a bad job. Why was she panicking when she had such an easy task?
"I can’t do it! This is too much for !"
"Idiot! Are you underestimating Lady Aurora? The Hero of Light’s innate healing ability is enough to cover most of this; you just have to give it a little push."

The paradic’s encouragent gave the Healer no sense of relief.
Although her Ability was indeed classified as a Healing one, its registered na was literally ’Shallow Treatnt’.
What kind of push was she supposed to give with that?!

Seeing that she was still hesitating, the paradic grabbed the Healer to the side, putting his mouth next to her ear.
"Just do your job, okay? If you keep being so clueless and things get out of hand, you will be held responsible for everything, got it?"

Hearing the paradic’s threatening whispers, the Healer dared dally no longer.
She was a coward, proudly so! She wasn’t the type to sacrifice herself in order to do the right thing!

She would just do as told, even if her ability could only handle surface wounds, she would do it!
Compared to the elderly mother she had to support, she couldn’t care less for Aurora’s well-being.
’Famous and rich people like her can easily handle a setback like this.’
Didn’t she get to have a dedicated Healer stationed outside for as long as she was inside the Gate?
If Aurora truly needed more treatnt, she could easily reach out to a proper Healer who wasn’t being threatened by their employer.

Although she seed to be totally out of it, Aurora was actually fully awake, her senses catching everything that had been said around her.
Through pretending to be half-dead, she managed to catch the culprits in the act.
No matter how badly injured she was, they never had the intention of properly healing her.

Unbeknownst to the planted paradic who was there to ensure that the higher-ups’ orders would be carried out, he was actually doing Aurora a favor.
After all, the reality of the case was that Aurora didn’t actually have a single wound on her body.
Her current state, which still terrified every single one of her fans to this mont, was nothing but an illusion.

Though it was hard to admit, ever since Aurora had experienced her most recent change, she realized that she had been using her Ability way too crudely.
Dealing Damage, covering herself with light shields, healing minor wounds... These were the most basic capabilities of her ’Light’.
Once her overview had changed, many new thods of usage had co to her, and almost all of them proved practical.

The illusion that she was currently using was one such ability, but unlike the rest of them that she gradually theorized, using illusions just suddenly made sense as early as the second day of her change.
This case was one more instant that was reminiscent of the shady information broker’s location popping up inside Aurora’s head, though they differed in the fact that she didn’t really require that ability at that ti.
Having gone unused for so long, Aurora didn’t think that the very first ti she used it would be to trick her supposedly personal dical team.
"Here goes."
As the Healer lady invoked her Ability, a faint green light covered Aurora’s body. She was definitely going to finish the job quickly and resign after receiving the first day’s pay!

Feeling the hint of warmth surrounding her, Aurora smiled deep inside. This Healer lady was simply the perfect scapegoat.
It was precisely because of this that Kara had asked about Doctor Yan’s status. After all, an expert like her would imdiately be able to tell that there was nothing wrong with Aurora.
However, with this Ability that barely tickled her skin without even recovering her stamina, the Healer in front of Aurora was undeniably as blind as a bat when it ca to recognizing Aurora’s actual condition.
"Hu- Hu- Hu-"
When it was finally her turn to co to the stage, Aurora acted in sync with the Healer, shaving off certain layers of her illusion as her bloody state faded.
With an additional spray of heavy and unstable breathing, she quite practically replicated the state of soone who was just coming to.
’Hero of Light...’
Ironically enough, when it ca to this supposedly unfamiliar illusion ability, Aurora had the easiest experience controlling its function, justifiedly so.
After all, the existence of Light was the only reason humans could see things to begin with, and if soone had the ability to control it...
’...More like Villain of Deception.’
An illusion more convincing than reality could be created.
