Although passing on one of the main cast becoming their companion was a bit regretful, the addition she could add to the team was rather limited. Unlike most protagonists who kept every friend and lover attached to them as eye candy, Leo wasn't fond of accessory companions who contributed close to nothing. Instead of filling this useless role, what Bing Baek could do as a princess within the Northern Ice Palace was more likely to be of great importance depending on how she made use of her freedom.
