Unlike life before accumulating 60 years of Internal Energy, no part of his Energy Channels was empty. It was full from the very start to the end, creating a never-ending cycle. This perfect loop was also why this threshold was known as a Major Energy Cycle!
In retrospect, the Minor Energy Cycle could never compare in effectivity or efficiency. The only reason both Leo and Yeon had been able to achieve their breakthrough despite their drained Internal Energy was thanks to Cheon Jeong's help. Now, however, Leo felt that he was close to a complete recovery in a matter of hours!

Taking into consideration the lack of linked event triggers, Leo thought that it was about ti for plot change ssages to pop up once he or Yeon made a certain advancent or achievent ahead of ti. However, it was likely that its effect on the future couldn't be ignored… Either that or the important mbers of the audience were extrely affected by it!

Having only had less than a second to check his change before, Leo took a look while pondering the trigger's hidden prerequisites. As to be expected from a Peak stage elevation, even the stagnant Physique took a sudden upward jump…
The part that interested Leo the most, however, happened to be his swordsmanship's elevation. Rather than being the effect of the advancent, this was sothing he had obtained from the Murim Lord's experience. Other than the compatibility, being already on the advanced level had made it easier to integrate more experience than before.
'Quite versatile…'
Most importantly, even Spearmanship had been positively affected by the legendary event bonus. Although he was soone who once held the title of the Sword Emperor, Leo had noticed hints of spearmanship tendencies in his style. It also happened to be deep enough for him to move a page forward!

Before he got to think about it for long, a pair of reddish-black pupils shone under the floating book. Yeon, who was sitting in front of him, also seed to have finished at the sa ti.

Another mischievous smile surfaced on the Blade Spirit's lips. Leo wasn't sure how he wanted this to end up, but he was absolutely confident that she did it on purpose!

Although she appeared to be teasing them, Cheon Jeong was seriously impressed by their performance. Winning the competition was sothing she already expected, but their reaction to the chaos that followed was exceptional. Especially…

Whether it was by showing it to be a logical deduction or just a stroke of genius, Leo had always tried his best to mask the actions he took based on his knowledge of the novel. However, this streak of his didn't seem to escape Cheon Jeong's eyes either.

His expression reading skill wasn't good enough to completely read a master like the Blade Spirit, but he could see so suspicion in her eyes. Compared to her, his senior brother's stiff face was still more trusty!
After taking so many risks throughout this volu-starting arc, Leo didn't mind taking a small break till things started for real. At the very least, he managed to do everything he could to make his quests easier to finish…
At this point in ti, the 1st rate field was already empty aside from the Heavenly Strength Society's group. Naturally, no one would wait for them to finish their obvious taunt, or so Leo thought at first.

Giving a slight bow, Pung Miyoung relayed the formality ssage that the Sword Sage had left behind before turning to Yeon, it seed like she had more to say.

Ignoring the childhood friend's attempt at making friends, Leo couldn't find Geochin's figure anywhere around. It was likely that he secretly left like he originally did in the novel.
