Standing back to back with Yeon, Leo's White Tiger continuously reaped the fantasy monster's lives. As a reader, he couldn't say he didn't enjoy scenes where the protagonist and the heroine fought side to side against an unimaginable enemy, but he was sohow thrown into one of these scenes himself!
Originally, Geochin was the one supposed to take his place, creating a faint bond with the future Heavenly Demon as they dealt with the cannon fodder that stupidly kept throwing their lives away at them…
However, that was sothing that Leo denied occurring in front of his eyes! Even if he didn't have the plot armor of a protagonist, he had to be the one standing next to Yeon in such a dangerous situation. This was the main reason as to why he couldn't let Geochin have that win!

Yeon's Black Heaven Jade moved even faster than him. Even as they tried to take down every monster before it landed, the numbers accumulated around them, filling the stage around them. Their mastery of the intricate Heavenly Reign Steps allowed them to go unscathed till now, but it was greatly exhausting to deal with enemies from all directions…
Leo was used to getting beat down by Cheon Chang so the situation wasn't extrely hard for him, but Yeon wasn't doing much worse either. Rather, by leaving their backs to each other, their movents seed to sync as their swords followed the sa rhythm!
