"Was the food to your liking? Or should I tell them to replace it with grain balls starting today?"
The surprise guest that arrived unannounced was 'Gentle Han' along with his mischievous smile. Leo believed that the other children should be preparing to start their first training at this mont, but the supposed Head Instructor was standing in front of him.
Despite rembering every single word in 'Murim Supremacy', Leo still lacked the ability to deduce everything. Since neither he nor Yeon was the first to finish the physical training phase, the things he could expect were fairly limited.
"It's good…"
The food that he had just received wasn't the sa al that the children would receive after they finish their training in a bit, but it still possessed a hint of rich essence. However, none of that was required to begin with! Even plain rice tasted better than grain balls!
Grain balls undeniably played an important role in a martial artist's life. They not only saved the ti spent on al preparation and consumption but also gave the body sufficient nutrients to pass the day without trouble. Nonetheless, their horrible taste completely weighed down the benefits! The author had made sure that the characters emphasized that fact!
Since he wasn't the one preparing the food, nor the one responsible for procuring the ingredients, why would Leo decide to plague his mouth with sothing like that? This was similar to throwing the advantage he received from being ahead in the mud!
"Very well. Are you ready to start your new training then?"
"Yes."
Seeing that the smile on Instructor Han's face had disappeared, Leo straightened his face as he stood in front of him. The mont was finally here!
"I will only show you once so watch carefully."
Scarlet light suddenly exuded from Instructor Han's fingers before disappearing. However, Leo's bare eyes could see it flowing into the instructor's hand. He was using Internal Energy to show Leo his Energy Channels!
Leo wasn't anticipating this, but he focused his attention on the scarlet light regardless. He was only expecting to receive a book and be told to start on his own, yet he was receiving direct guidance out of nowhere!
'Is this the first's benefit?'
With his focus on the light that had already climbed up to the Instructor's forearm, Leo could barely think of an explanation. He was only being shown a glimpse, but this glimpse had a trendous value!
The red glow suddenly accelerated as soon as it reached the shoulders, swiftly swimming into Instructor Han's belly. He was still clothed, but everything was clear under Leo's eyes, the Internal Energy was converging in the Dantian!
"Here you go."
While Leo was still lost in the sight that he had just witnessed, the process that didn't even last one minute had long ended. By the ti he ca to realize that, he saw a bundle of fabric held by Instructor Han in front of his face.
"You should already know what your current task is after you give it a read."
Not waiting to see Leo's reaction, Instructor Han directly walked away as soon as he got a hold of the bundle. He probably intended to sound ambiguous, but Leo almost understood every word he said.
Thud!
Following up on Instructor Han's pace, Leo quickly closed the stone door before unfurling the bundle, revealing a relatively new-looking book and a small ceramic bottle.
'Here it is!'
Putting aside the ceramic bottle for now, Leo imdiately opened up the book. It didn't look like much, but this was actually the gate to this world's supernatural property! This was a Breathing Technique!
'The actual bullshit!'
As excited as he was to receive this, Leo's mind was being overworked from imagining how it would work. Although it shared the sa na with the technique used to draw Sword Breath, this was sothing that had far more fantasy involved within!
Not to ntion wielding a weapon, Leo didn't even need to move. The mix of words and illustrations that covered the pages spoke of doing nothing but chanting and regulating breath in a stable position in order to absorb the natural energy of the world, sothing that seed like actual nonsense in comparison to the rather ta Sword Breathing…
'Let's finish this for now.'
This wasn't sothing that could be explained by logic. However, being in this place denied reality itself. Disregarding the slight disbelief in his heart, Leo focused on finishing the book. morizing everything in it ca first.
If Leo were to be honest, it wasn't as much of a cake walk as it seed to be. Regulating breath was sothing that required practice, and the breathing thod in his hand happened to be quite complicated in that regard. If anything, he was thankful that this at least seed simpler than Sword Breathing.
In the hands of soone like Leo, the book didn't last long, but nothing spoke out in his mind unlike his experience with the 'Origin Manual'!
'It isn't exactly hidden.'
As one of the reasons he remained in the Heavenly Strength Society, the value of the technique in his hand was undeniably guaranteed. However, Leo understood that it was sothing that he was bound to get his hand on sooner or later. It might have been a 'Hidden Piece' for soone else, but this was nothing but Baekho's beginner technique!
'Well then…'
Leo stared at the wall as he put the book away. He wasn't concerned about this contrast, but he hoped that it would be the only one…
Just like Sword Breathing required one to pass the accumulation phase to effectively use the power of Sword Breath, Internal Energy Breathing Techniques had their own unbreakable requirent. It was only that…
Leo stopped zoning off as his thoughts halted at the point. His eyes wandered around before finally landing on the small ceramic bottle that ca with the book…
Would it really be as easy to trigger the second attribute this ti around?
