Kafu the Sixth demonstrated exceptional talent in the war.

The Dwarves decisively conquered the Golan King, who had led his troops personally. Apart from relying on their superior equipnt, Kafu the Sixth’s command also played a significant role.

After capturing the Golan King Hudson, Kafu the Sixth beca even more convinced that he would conquer Golan.

At first, the King of Kaelonde treated Hudson with courtesy and offered him generous promises. In exchange, they wanted Hudson to swear allegiance and persuade the various fortresses and cities ahead to surrender.

However, unexpectedly, Golan King Hudson showed remarkable unyielding spirit.

He publicly spat curses at Kafu the Sixth, while also expressing hatred for his own impotence. He did not give in and sternly told Kafu the Sixth, "The people of Golan will not surrender."

His actions ignited the fury of the Dwarf King.

Subsequently, Kafu the Sixth removed all of Hudson’s privileges and even confined him with others. Kafu the Sixth deliberately neglected him, hoping to break Hudson’s will.

But soon, Kafu the Sixth had to abandon that idea.

After being locked up with others, Hudson actually attempted to commit suicide and nearly succeeded. A small blade had sliced open half of his neck, spilling blood profusely. Had it not been for the prompt discovery by the Dwarven guards, Kafu the Sixth would have lost this important captive.

As a result, Hudson was once again kept in solitary confinent. Kafu the Sixth dispatched heavy guards to prevent him from again attempting suicide.

If the King himself behaved thus, the other captured Golan officers likewise showed fearless courage. The vast majority of them refused to accept the Dwarves’ recruitnt or attentions, and they even attempted to organize multiple uprisings, trying to escape from the Dwarf forces.

This forced Kafu the Sixth to exclaim,

"The people of this land truly do not know what weakness is."

Despite his sighs, faced with those officers who refused to submit, Kafu the Sixth imdiately revealed his cruel side.

This formidable ruler would bloodily suppress even civilian uprisings, let alone his Golan adversaries.

Kafu the Sixth initially sent people to whip and torture them. If that did not subdue them, he did not hesitate further. He directly executed them, allowing Golan blood to flow on their own land.

After capturing the Golan King, Kafu the Sixth decided to press on with his victory, continuing to lead his great army to conquer the major cities and fortresses of Golan. The King of Kaelonde knew well the importance of decisive, quick battles. He commanded his forces to fight continuously, trying to avoid any unnecessary stops until all major resistance in Golan was destroyed.

With such thinking, the Dwarves had co not to rule, but to conquer.

Wherever the edge of the Dwarven blade reached, it trampled and plundered without rcy. With every city they breached, the Dwarves would indulge in massive slaughter and pillage, to maintain their high battle spirit and morale, and to gather considerable resources for continued attacks. Sotis, they would even use the King as a threat, pretending to grant rcy and not slaughter a city. When the enemies, under duress and temptation, deceitfully offered up their city to surrender, the Dwarves would then raise their blades and begin a bloody massacre.

Who knows how many inches of Golan land had been drenched in the blood of its people.

All Golanese who refused to surrender were utterly slaughtered, leaving only the weak to grovel before Kaelonde. Kafu the Sixth’s plan was so simple, yet it seed so effective. The Dwarf army advanced with lightning speed, and in the leaderless Golan Kingdom, it beca even more difficult to organize effective resistance.

As city after city was conquered, more n and won were plundered, the morale of the Dwarves soared, believing they had already achieved victory. What remained was rely like scraping up leftover crumbs after a feast.

So high-ranking Dwarf officers had already begun to indulge in the service of human female slaves.

In the tents, Kafu the Sixth mapped out his next conquest strategy.

Just then, a confidant entered the tent, presenting a letter from Kaelonde to the King.

Kafu the Sixth took the letter, glanced over it briefly, and then tossed it into the brazier.

The confidant, full of surprise, could not help but say,

"Your Majesty... this..."

Kafu the Sixth sneered,

"The letter isn’t important. It just tells about the situation in the Royal City. They held a solemn celebration, chanting my na in unison, to beseech Hiris for protection...

How moving all that is, what a pity, I’ve grown tired of their praises."

In the King’s voice, there was an endless stream of contempt.

Kafu the Sixth deeply felt the ignorance of his people. They had just recently undergone bloody suppression and now they were singing his praise.

Did they think their adulation would bring another victory?

Don’t be foolish. In this war, the significant factors were, firstly, the hard Armor made by the Steam Hydraulic Forging Machine, secondly, novelties like the Steam Siege Hamr and the gigantic Bed Crossbow, thirdly, the valiant combat of the Dwarf soldiers. Oh, and the Path delivered by God also provided so help, though its impact on the battle situation was minuscule.

As for the cheering of the people, Kafu the Sixth thought that was like a little dog eagerly wagging its tail.

As the letter turned to ashes in the brazier, Kafu the Sixth gazed at the map before him, his eyes no longer limited to the easily attainable Golan, but now falling upon other nations.

A commoner who becos wealthy overnight will likely squander it freely.
