After returning to Heaven, Angel Schiller was quiet for several days.

The souls and angels in Heaven often saw this Great Angel wandering over the endless Cloud Sea, doing nothing but wandering, appearing lost in thought.

They were extrely curious, and so had asked Schiller why he kept wandering, but they did not receive a proper response.

Eventually, even the other Great Angels ca to know of this, and Maisy, who had a close relationship with Schiller, secretly approached the Great Angel to inquire about the reason.

"Maisy, you do not know what I saw in Hell."

The Great Angels all liked this youngest of their number, and Schiller was no exception.

Moreover, since the Great Angels had once sent Maisy to the Mortal World, they often had no reservations towards her, driven by a sense of guilt.

Caught by curiosity, Maisy asked:

"What did you see? Isn’t that place filled with sinners? I truly hope they repent soon."

Schiller frowned slightly and said softly:

"Down there, the vast majority fear punishnt rather than genuinely repenting."

Maisy was sowhat surprised.

Schiller, however, changed the topic.

"Maisy, do you think people can fall?"

Maisy found the question strange.

"Of course they can, isn’t that obvious?

People are inherently bound to fall, whether it’s upwards or downwards; that’s all part of their free will, isn’t it?"

Maisy’s words fell on Schiller’s ears, who thoughtfully replied:

"Yes, because they have free will, people can fall..."

Maisy, puzzled, asked:

"Schiller... why do you say this?"

Schiller glanced at Maisy and rely said:

"I’m just saying...

If there were no free will, people wouldn’t fall, would they?"

Maisy sowhat agreed with Schiller’s view but found it strange nonetheless, so she countered:

"But with free will, people can rise, can’t they?"

Schiller responded indifferently:

"On that land, people might rise, but they will eventually fall.

Maisy, have you forgotten how those who praised goodness, the Logos people, persecuted you?"

The mory triggered a chill in the Great Angel, who lowered his head.

Schiller slowly walked forward, his gaze traversing the vast Cloud Sea, falling upon the Nus Kingdom.

"Because humans have free will, they can be bewitched and thus fall...

That’s why they wrote the Holy Scriptures, recording the words of God, trying to learn, never again to be bewitched or fall.

So, I’m curious,

After so much history, having walked so many paths, will the Logos people still be bewitched, still fall?"

The hissing of serpents rolled over the Cloud Sea, and the Great Angel Schiller cast a tall shadow.

He seed like...

An angel who beguiles.

rfolk Po Han looked around, finally waiting for Nimirda to return to the prison.

Every ti Nimirda left, he had a bad premonition, as if he would escape effortlessly if not careful.

Po Han could not accept that outco,

However, as a rfolk Envoy, Po Han could also not accept the harsh demands his people placed on the Elves.

The death of the Unihorn King had maddened the entire Undersea Kingdom.

Po Han was clearly aware of this, and as an envoy, he was much calr than his people. He knew that the Elves, who had always been pious and lived peacefully for millennia, would never accept these faith-overturning demands.

Even within the Undersea Kingdom, there were disputes over the worship of the Water God Angel.

Though most residents of the Undersea Kingdom continued to revere the Water God, the priests often quarreled fiercely over the Water God Angel.

Because the Undersea Kingdom was wealthy and stable, these conflicts remained limited to the priests and never escalated.

And Po Han always vaguely felt that his people did not truly recognize the status of the Water God Angel.

Po Han understood ancient myths; initially, the Undersea Kingdom had only Unihorns, and the Sea Demons were outsiders; the two races intermarried and birthed the rfolk.

Therefore, in the scriptures of the True Religion, Sea Demons were almost never ntioned, along with their creator Angel, who was rely ntioned in a few sentences.

Po Han knew this well, but he was even more aware that his people did not; they continued to worship Angel as usual, sowhat against the faith.

For this reason, every ti he and other rfolk Envoys reiterated their demands before the Dual Kings, he always felt a strange sense of guilt.

Po Han only hoped Nimirda would pay with his life for his mistakes, and the rest would be washed away by ti.

During Po Han’s muddled thoughts, the cell door was again opened, and he looked up as the Elf Prince Nimirda was once again brought back by the prison guards into the damp cell.

The door opened, and Nimirda sat back down on the straw heap, with Po Han shifting his fishtail closer.

"You’ve been summoned again," he said slowly.

Nimirda looked up at him,

"rfolk Envoy, you really wish for my death."

Po Han did not deny it, nodding earnestly.

Nimirda smiled and said:

"Well then, I’m sorry, but I won’t die."

Po Han was taken aback, his face paling then turning furiously red.

"What exactly do you Elves want?!"

Nimirda, I told you, it won’t be long before your King renders a verdict, and if that does not satisfy us, you should be aware of the consequences!"

Nimirda was unmoved and simply said,

"Save your energy, Po Han.

These faults, my death would not suffice to atone for.

And to nd the hatred between two races, my death is not needed."

At this, Po Han was slightly befuddled, though still seething with anger, he couldn’t help but ponder the deeper aning behind the Elf Prince’s words.

"Don’t worry Po Han, soon, this matter will co to a conclusion."

Nimirda spoke, his voice lowering towards the end, carrying a hint of barely perceptible sorrow.

.........

King Oro had decided to personally visit the Undersea Kingdom.

When this news ca from the mouth of the Throne Guard, it swept through the entire Nus Kingdom like a wild storm.

The people were plunged into great shock, voices of discussion filled the streets and between the shadows of leaves, even ongoing disputes were montarily set aside.

And the rfolk Envoys who had arrived at this place, without exception, were caught off guard by this sudden decision.

Rember, not long before, during his visit to the Undersea Kingdom, Nimirda had assassinated the Whale King—a deep-seated vengeance indeed.

And today, King Oro, as the ruler of a country, chose such a sensitive and tense ti to visit the Undersea Kingdom.

No one could fathom why.

"Your Majesty King Oro..."

Standing in the Giant Wood Palace, Po Han was trembling,

"Are you truly going to... visit my country...

But now, as we are without a leader, perhaps..."

Po Han faltered, trying hard to dissuade King Oro from visiting, urging him to retract the decision.

This wasn’t just his own wish, but also the unanimous decision of other envoys after urgent deliberations.

"I don’t care about formality; I only care about the friendship between our two species from ancient tis."

King Oro interrupted Po Han, continuing,

"Whether you welco or not, I intend to go into the sea. Would you greet with swords?"

It wasn’t Po Han’s first visit to the Giant Wood Palace, and King Oro had always seed kind and gentle; but now it was different, the old king exuded an undeniable authority, his throne appearing even more colossal under the sunlight.

"Envoy, we are brethren, the seeds of God... your pain is our pain. If I fail to make this visit, it will only deepen our rift."

Facing King Oro’s words, the rfolk Po Han montarily lost his voice, his fellow envoys at his side also unsure how to respond, they stood there awkwardly, like prisoners at a trial.

King Oro’s mind was already made up, and the long-standing friendship between the two species left the rfolk envoys no grounds to refuse the king’s request to make the visit.

Thus, the rfolk envoys grudgingly agreed for the ti being, planning to delay, but King Oro clearly would not allow them the opportunity to procrastinate, explicitly expressing his hope that the rfolk would provide an answer within three days, and regardless, he was determined to visit the Undersea Kingdom.

After the summons, the rfolk envoys gathered together, discussing various strategies, but none seed genuinely satisfactory.

The biggest reason was that they were completely in the dark about the real purpose of King Oro’s visit to the Undersea Kingdom at such a crucial ti, and naturally, they had no way to respond.

Finally, they reluctantly reached a consensus, including rfolk Po Han and a small group of envoys staying in the Nus Kingdom to monitor the Elves’ movents, while the majority escorted King Oro on his visit to the Undersea Kingdom.

"This is the only way, no matter what, there must be no mistakes."

The leading rfolk Envoy solemnly charged everyone.

The rfolk nodded in agreent, but Po Han suddenly thought of sothing and looked towards the direction of the prison.

That night, rfolk Po Han went to the prison, staring at Nimirda trapped in the cell.

"What in the world... is happening?"

rfolk Po Han asked aloud,

"What ga are you Elves playing?"

Through days of interaction, even though Po Han harbored intense anger towards Nimirda, his tone and words were much more restrained than before, no longer as fierce as they used to be.

Nimirda opened his eyes, already anticipating Po Han’s question,

"My father never plays gas; he is a King.

And soon, I will face the final judgnt."

After hearing this, Po Han thought for a mont before asking,

"Prince Simir is coming to judge you?

Is your father stepping back from interfering due to the bond between father and son, and is that why he is visiting the Undersea Kingdom?"

Nimirda neither nodded nor shook his head, leaving Po Han unsure if that was a tacit agreent.

He felt that the Elves’ actions were strange, yet couldn’t pinpoint exactly how.

At a loss, Po Han threatened,

"Just wait, whatever you Elves are scheming, God is watching!"

Nimirda replied with a cold laugh.

He slowly said,

"How do you know the path we choose is not the right one, not sanctioned by God?

Perhaps, an Angel assists us in secret, guiding in my dreams."

Po Han looked shocked, then abruptly shook his head,

"Deceiving with the guise of divinity! You falsely claim God’s authority!"

Nimirda continued,

"How can you be so certain?

In this world, how many people like you accuse Prophets of deceiving with the guise of divinity?

Po Han, not long ago, I had a dream where an Angel showed my path."

The rfolk Envoy didn’t want to believe what the Elf Prince was saying, but seeing him so resolute, he couldn’t help feeling uncertain.

After all, Po Han was well aware that placing another Divine on the altar could well be an act of betraying the Lord.

Could it be... all this was God’s arrangent, and the Elf Prince had received guidance from an Angel in his dreams?

Nimirda looked coldly at Po Han.

Po Han involuntarily stepped back, his rebuttal ringing sowhat powerless,

"Deceiving with the guise of divinity! You will never be another Dertulian!"
