"Where is this?"

A Priest from the Pattern Garden stood upon the high platform, proclaiming with a passionate voice:

"What is this place?

Is it an Elves’ paradise, hidden from the world, or another destroyed old Kingdom?!

People of Logos, the rfolk have betrayed us, betrayed God; they follow that obscure Divine, placing it upon an altar for worship!

Children of God, tell , what is this place?!"

The voices of those Priests were stirring and strongly provocative; the people of Logos below, hearing this, cursed the rfolk’s disbelief in God’s na, while also lanting for the Unihorns.

Their emotions were inflad, their mouths

All this, the High Priest of the Pattern Garden saw from afar, shaking his head helplessly at the scene before him.

"My Priest... what do you see?"

Beside the High Priest stood a mysterious man in a black robe, his voice aged and commanding.

"King Oro, even if I saw it, I could not stop it."

The High Priest spoke slowly:

"I have presided over the Great Council for God multiple tis in my life, so I am well aware that the chasms in human hearts are far more difficult to cross than those of the world.

Compared to so many heretical opinions I have seen, that speech is actually insignificant in theology."

The incognito King Oro said:

"Yet between the two Kingdoms... this could ruin a friendship of thousands of years.

Nimirda... the trouble my son has caused is far greater than I had imagined."

After hearing this, the High Priest bowed his head and sighed deeply.

The Elf Kingdom had always had two thrones; the twin Kings were usually one older and one younger, the forr often colloquially called the old King. King Oro was such an old King, with three offspring under him, two sons and a daughter, and Nimirda and his brother were his children, but unfortunately... it’s likely neither of them would end with a good fate.

"No need to be sentintal for , High Priest."

King Oro said in a low voice:

"I have already shed tears for my son; what remains now is for God to make arrangents."

The High Priest nodded:

"Yes... now, it is not sothing that can be resolved with just Nimirda’s death."

King Oro fell silent.

Disguised, the two wandered through the Nus Kingdom, striving to find a true redy to maintain the relationship between the two races.

They saw the divide brought about by the Unihorn among the Elves, countless unable to accept the rfolk’s terms, not only rejecting another Divine being placed upon the altar but also unable to tolerate the rfolk’s aggressive demands. So even advocated for a war among the trees in God’s na, to clear the fallen from war.

King Oro and the High Priest witnessed all of this, not only failing to find a redy to bridge the two races but also seeing the hatred between them far deeper than imagined.

Only buried beneath ancient pacts and friendships.

Po Han watched Nimirda in the cell.

The latter sat on the damp straw with eyes closed in ditation, as if waiting for sothing.

Every ti he saw Nimirda in this tranquil state, Po Han felt an ineffable frustration.

The Elf Prince was from ti to ti summoned by their King, and Po Han didn’t know what the father and son secretly discussed, but he always had an ominous premonition.

In the mont Po Han was lost in thought, Nimirda had approached him unnoticed.

In the darkness, Po Han felt a chill down his spine as he was being watched.

"What, what are you doing?"

Po Han asked harshly.

Nimirda’s eyes were like those of a serpent, bewitching and poisonous, as he slowly began to speak:

"Envoy of the rfolk, do you know? Outside, there are countless people eager to support ."

Po Han took a deep breath and reluctantly nodded.

Having spent so many days in the Nus Kingdom, he was certainly aware of the situation outside.

The stern demands of the rfolk had sparked hatred among the Logos, and neither side was willing to accept an unresolved outco; when Po Han walked the streets, he often encountered scornful gazes.

Those eyes harbored a silent rage.

The Logos could not tolerate the desecration of their faith.

"By my side, countless people have gathered, and with one call to arms, they would all follow ."

Nimirda said indifferently.

Po Han looked at the Elf Prince in astonishnt; he knew this was no jest.

Whether in the Elf Kingdom viewed as a utopian sanctuary by outsiders or in the secretive Undersea Kingdom hidden deep in the ocean, both were like enclosed microcosms, where being free from worry about basic needs was the norm of life. Neither had the sa struggles to survive as other races from outside. Precisely because of this welfare, people always craved more.

Such as tradition, spirit, and faith.

Nimirda continued slowly:

"These people are growing angrier, they cannot endure the King’s persistent lack of explanation.

Do you know what this ans?

In their eyes, they have been betrayed and bullied, forced to concede again and again to the rfolk, and this will push the entire race of Elves into an abyss from which there is no return."

Po Han swallowed nervously, unable to help himself, he asked:

"What... does this actually an?"

Po Han’s heart leapt; he could not deny that the Prince’s words were sensible, and he knew well how to manipulate hearts, those eyes seeming to always capture the essence of truth.

"It ans that I am King Dertulian in their eyes."

Nimirda said unemotionally.

A thunder roared in Po Han’s mind, his face turned pale, and his gills contracted rapidly.

How could he not know the legend of Dertulian?

In an age long past, Dertulian rebelled against his brother Yarlessto, leading thousands of Logos away from the old Kingdom filled with suffering to establish a new realm at what was then considered the end of the world.

"People always gravitate towards better things, and so do legends. Those Logos left the past behind, endured hardships, and eventually built the utopian sanctuary we stand upon."

Nimirda continued to narrate:

"In countless eyes, history will repeat itself; when the New Kingdom no longer satisfies, and becos full of suffering, the Logos will once again depart, wandering through oceans or deserts, until they reach a new end of the world, to build a new realm just like King Dertulian did thousands of years ago.

People will always pursue what is better,

After all, on this earth, there has never been a place of absolute perfection."

At this point, Po Han could no longer contain himself and burst out with a question:

"After saying so much, what exactly do you an to say?!"

Nimirda gazed beyond the bars of the cell, falling silent for a long while before replying:

"In short, soone is planning a prison break."
