The Golden Hall burned down.
Along with all its past glory, it turned into ashes in the blaze of golden fire.
Shan’en released the seal of the Primordial Will and trapped it within the Golden Hall, and Chen Yi used that sky-filled fire as a new seal to reseal the Primordial Will within the Historical Star.
In the Country of Divines, the Gods all knelt, gazing up at the white Divine Throne in the heavens.
No matter how they fled, no matter how much terror they brought, no matter if the whole world fell into ruin because of the madness of the Divines, the heavenly kingdom from the Prophecy had arrived.
And the Divine Angel Solamus blew the horn of Heaven, fulfilling the Covenant with God.
All those who had died, whether they were insignificant mortals or high and mighty Divines, as well as the vilest villains and the most valiant heroes, were resurrected to new life, both the righteous and the wicked revived by God’s great power.
All people on Earth gazed up at the light in the firmant, their hands clasping together involuntarily, their bodies trembling.
Those True Believers who had been waiting since Prophet Noen’s ti wept with joy, kissing the ground beneath their feet, reciting the immortal Scriptures—The Lord had once fallen, now returned, and a new world was about to dawn.
The heartbeat of faith was speaking to them.
They knew, bathed in light, the Lord sat on the supre throne, His radiance once again ca to this world, embracing everyone within it.
Above the throne,
Chen Yi took in all the happenings of the world below him.
Whether Gods or mortals, every person on Earth welcod His gaze, tears of joy for the resurrected stread down, unable to utter a word or make a sound, simply accepting His attention.
The vast Cloud Sea, supporting God’s Heavenly Kingdom.
In the heavens, thousands upon thousands of Angels gathered, praising the descending Heavenly City, and on Earth, innurable beings knelt, bringing their hands together in prayer beneath the radiance, yearning to walk with God as His kingdom descended.
The judgnt,
had begun.
With a deep and ancient bell toll, Angels amidst the Cloud Sea sang holy hymns, their sacred and lodious voices coming together; then, on that mountaintop, an ancient tree grown over thousands and thousands of years began to shoot up at breakneck speed; in just a mont, its canopy vanished into the Cloud Sea.
In an instant, atop the Cloud Sea, ancient and majestic Heavenly Pillars stood proud, unadorned, shooting up from the earth, bearing heaven and earth, these colossal pillars, numbering in the thousands and thousands.
Each was a branch of the ancient tree, an inch of its pattern signifying a soul, a soul signifying a world, endless souls stepping onto the Cloud Sea of Heaven, facing this unprecedented grand judgnt.
In this otherworldly Holy Realm, upon the throne sat one radiating light.
Shortly after the souls in the ancient trees erged,
In the sky, on the land, beneath the earth, on the sea surface, within the ocean...countless voices rose, be it deep sighs, ceaseless wails, or rapturous delight...
An uncountable number of souls drifted up from the earth. They were resentful spirits, long adrift in the mortal world, now converging towards the Holy Realm, finally halting outside the Thousand Pillar Cloud Sea to face God upon His throne.
From a distance, the souls gazed up at the lofty throne, all present before the cataclysm had struck. They saw endless brilliance erging from the throne and couldn’t help but kneel on the ground, accepting a judgnt unlike any before.
Above the throne—
The Divine Statue seed to be looking at sothing, Chen Yi’s gaze directed towards the golden hall now reduced to ashes.
In the end, He said nothing.
Only Solamus next to the throne saw a trace of sorrow in the eyes of God.
After a mont, Chen Yi raised His hand, His mighty voice echoing throughout the entire kingdom.
"I have established the Kingdom in Heaven."
"Whoever receives My spirit, though he has died, must co here."
The gates of the Holy Realm slowly opened, creatures from all the nations of the world filed in, one by one. The gate was so vast, the path so broad that despite the crowds, there was not the slightest congestion.
Entering the Heavenly Kingdom were those in tattered clothes, those clad in finery, those bearing swords, those holding books, those with crowns upon their heads, those with unkempt hair, those laden with wealth, those with not a penny to their na, royals, slaves... Countless beings stepped into the realm of God, there to rejoice and be happy.
Regardless of race, gender, or origin, the best and most beautiful of kingdoms appeared before every soul. In Heaven, a place had been reserved for every person.
Solamus watched from the throne, spotting many familiar faces among them.
Noen, Xilan, Shanon... even Al, Dertulian, Yarlessto, and Sapo from the ancient tis... Countless souls gathered, gazing upwards at the figure upon the throne, listening to God’s will.
"Among you are those who have indulged in wicked extravagance, those who have not turned away from evil; depart from this kingdom until you have repented and made ands."
Accompanying God’s words, nurous evildoers were pushed out of the Holy Realm’s gates by a great, unseen wind, and their pitiful screams and wails fell from the sky, the voices growing fainter and more distant as they plumted from the heavens above to the earth below, into the depths of Hell.
God’s Law had pronounced its verdict, and those souls fell into Hell. According to their past misdeeds, they suffered various tornts until they had atoned for all their sins, until they awoke from their mistakes, and were then allowed back into Heaven to enjoy the most beautiful and good existence.
Below the firmant, the resurrected stars and surviving mortals bore witness to God’s judgnt, for a mont at a loss for words. The once noisy world fell silent before the divine judgnt.
The God upon the throne was more majestic than anyone could have imagined, His figure shrouded in light, dazzling and splendid.
Their eyes couldn’t even bear to look directly at the sun, much less bear the sight of God’s face. Their knowledge couldn’t asure the breadth of the earth, much less God’s mighty power... This resurrection, this judgnt, it all exceeded their previous comprehension, their standards of asurent powerless against Him—such as logic, being and nothingness, life and death, abundance and scarcity... He only followed the laws He had set Himself.
Whether stars or mortals, at this mont, the one thing they could be sure of was that God had descended.
The prophecy from thousands of years prior was validated; the Heavenly City was no longer just a phrase from scripture, but a concrete afterlife.
The solar eclipse had passed, and the sun burst forth once more with light. The gloomy haze of destruction dissipated, and those mortals cast aside their swords, those who had sinned during this destruction spontaneously repented their wrongdoings from the heart.
Because above the Cloud Sea, God spoke softly,
"I will establish the Law in the Kingdom of Heaven, upon My high mountain."
