No matter the religion, no matter the priest, all rembered this day.

This day...

The earth was in turmoil.

A simple sentence, yet it contained endless catastrophes.

There were cries of agony everywhere, and all living beings suffered imnsely.

It was an unknown small town, on an ordinary day when people, as usual, raised chickens and ducks, whipped cattle and sheep, and tilled the fields... Suddenly, the earth began to shake, houses instantaneously turned to ash, thatched roofs flew horizontally, and only broken walls and ruins remained.

The earth shook, thunder roared in the sky, the ground seed to be stampeded by thousands of horses, the mountains began to howl, and huge boulders tumbled down rcilessly flying toward the crowd. In an instant, the town was leveled to the ground.

Such mighty power could only be wielded by the Divine.

Dragon God Endora led His Divine followers in wanton destruction of the land beneath their feet, all to seek more imnse Divine Power to counter the foreordained descent of the Heavenly City.

In the massive earthquake, the earth cracked open with horrific fissures, and each Divine took what they needed. Plague God Sturad unleashed long-contained plagues in an instant, rat kings with intertwined tails appeared everywhere, disease-bearing mosquitoes bit mortals at will, and the black blood they vomited was enough to form rivers...

Endora manipulated the crimson War Blood Wind. He flapped His wings, creating relentless ground gales, fresh blood surged forth from swords, and those city-states that were once warlike beca even more fanatical about war under the influence of the Blood Wind. They glorified the greatness of war, prayed for the descent of glory, and those nations that once lived in harmony with the world also beca intoxicated with the idea of war under the howling Blood Wind.

War had descended.

It was unclear who first raised their sword, but chaos erupted across all lands with forces large and small, people did not know why they should slaughter one another, but still, they hoped to kill each other, they sang praises to war, with the deaths of their enemies, also with their own deaths, with the deaths of their foes, and also with the deaths of their families...

The God of Despair collected despair from lants and cries. Endora once told Him that the earth would eventually be tainted by other factions of Divine, and they must indulge in this feast as soon as possible.

When plague and war descended one after another, the land that generations had lived on beca barren due to their ravages, fertile lands either turned to charred ashes or were overgrown with wild grass, waiting for insects to devour...

Famine followed plague and war, crops on the lands beca scarce as if the entire earth had been sprinkled with salt crystals, corpses of those who starved to death scattered everywhere.

The other Divines of the Celestial Kingdom were deeply shocked. They had never imagined that any Divine would directly break the Covenant of Gods and bring calamity to mortals without any reason.

Now that they had brought calamity to mortals, how far could it be from bringing calamity to other Divines?

In the Country of Divines, the Golden Hall remained tightly closed, the Divines could no longer count on the King of Gods to oversee everything. All the major factions panicked about the actions of Dragon God Endora and His followers, yet no faction dared to easily break the stalemate and raise their swords against Endora and His followers.

Kagawus was deeply pained by this. Calamities were relentless, causing the whole world to suffer greatly, even the race of Three-eyed Ape People that He had created, were on the brink of collapse within these mighty calamities.

Even if the Prophetic God was in such pain, He still had to prioritize the overall situation. The current Celestial Kingdom maintained a fragile balance, Dragon God Endora and His followers, although causing great harm to mortals, had yet to act against the Divines, hence, under such circumstances, He absolutely could not act rashly.

In this chaotic situation, Kagawus had not failed to prophesize, on the contrary, He had prophesized many tis, but the visions he saw were far blurrier than before.

He knew well that prophecy was a prediction of destiny and as the descent of Heaven approached, prophecies increasingly lost their due efficacy, and they would soon beco completely ineffective.

Not long ago, taking advantage of the remaining efficacy of prophecy, Kagawus made His last prophecy. This prediction was not aid at the descending Heaven but rather at Divine King Shan En, who had shut the Golden Hall.

Before closing the doors of the Golden Hall, what had Divine King Shan En seen or done, even Kagawus was not clear. He only knew that suddenly, Divine King Shan En had closed the doors of the hall, no longer allowing any Divine to co for an audience, nor listening to any Divine’s call.

The king, who once ruled over thousands of divine beings in the Star Do, had led the Gods to fight against the Primordial Will as the Thunder God a thousand years ago. Now, at the critical mont when the Country of Divines was fragnted, he shut himself in and did not erge.

Kagawus was perplexed and anxious. He worried that sothing unforeseen had befallen Shan’en, yet none of his past prophecies had foretold Shan’en sealing the great doors of the Golden Hall.

A pale yellow prophetic power gathered in the palm of his hand; he exerted all his strength to prophesize the fate of Divine King Shan’en, even as blood spilled from the corners of his mouth.

His eyes closed and then opened, he saw a grand hall forged of gold where Shan’en, the Divine King, sat on the lofty throne holding the scepter that flickered with lightning, his gaze commanding the very center of the hall.

Following Shan’en’s gaze, Kagawus then witnessed an unbelievable scene.

In the exact center of the hall stood a figure both familiar and strange...

"Slaier... how..."

Slaier, the God of Lies and Deceit, who had long been dead, now stood in the middle of the Golden Hall, accessing Shan’en at a ti when all other Gods could not.

Shan’en on the throne seed to sense sothing, slowly turning his head, casting a aningful look in Kagawus’s direction.

Whoosh...

The prophetic vision shattered at this mont, the sound reminiscent of glass hitting the ground.

Kagawus turned back abruptly, incredulously staring at the Golden Hall.

"Shan’en... what in the world..."

...

...

Shan’en sat on the throne, his scepter sparkling with traces of lightning.

Any divine being who entered the Golden Hall would be astounded – Slaier, who should have been dead, now stood at the center, bowing respectfully to Shan’en.

"Great Divine King, I owe you my gratitude for your imnse generosity."

Slaier spoke with a polite bow, having experienced death,

"Without your tacit permission, I would have been shattered by you again."

Generally speaking, divine beings do not use honorifics as mortals do, making it clear that Slaier was no ordinary divine being.

Slaier raised his face; his form was ethereal, obviously not yet fully consolidated, not restored to his forr self.

The God of Lies and Deceit’s soul cohesion had always gone unnoticed by Kagawus, but once the soul had coalesced to a certain extent, it inevitably caught Shan’en’s attention.

"Slaier... no need for further idle chatter."

After this, Shan’en slowly said,

"I have lifted the seal of the Primordial Will."
