Only After I Was Reborn Did I Realize That I Had Childhood Sweethearts Chapter 348: Join the Fandomverse!
This advertisent, created by i Fang in the style of Chen Ou’s iconic ads, starred i Fang himself alongside Xia Yuan and Lin Youxi. Unlike Chen Ou’s handso and polished CEO image, i Fang’s appearance could be described as delicate and even sowhat adorable.
Behind that delicate, cute exterior was not the glamorous entrepreneurial history of a rich second-generation heir, nor was he just another internet celebrity relying on popularity. Instead, he was a self-made genius who had reached this point through sheer passion for the world of ani and manga.
Compared to Chen Ou’s sudden rise to fa, i Fang’s entrepreneurial journey was far more convincing.
The brilliance of this brand promotion lay in how i Fang, Lin Youxi, and Xia Yuan incorporated nostalgic, slightly pixelated footage from their childhood.
These video clips, lovingly recorded by i Fang’s doting father, i Lijun, showed scenes of i Fang engrossed in reading or playing computer gas with Lin Youxi and Xia Yuan. Combined with edited snippets of classic childhood ani, the whole sequence exuded a wistful, nostalgic beauty.
The original Chen Ou-style ads were sleek, high-end, and exuded corporate elite vibes. While impressive, they lacked a certain warmth—people rembered Chen Ou and the brand, but little else.
Now, in i Fang’s hands, the advertisent beca a journey through mories, from passion to dreams, moving countless otaku viewers to tears and sparking deep interest in his brand.
Beyond this, i Fang also designed a set of promotional posters featuring himself, Xia Yuan, and Lin Youxi.
[Join the Fandomverse Project now! I’m Yuanbao—waiting for you in Fandomverse!]
[The Fandomverse Project has set sail! I’m the Young Miss—waiting for you in Fandomverse.]
[Join the Fandomverse Project! I’m Stationmaster i Fang—welcoming you to Fandomverse.]
The artistic posters of i Fang, Xia Yuan, and Lin Youxi each had their own distinct style, completely different from mainstream brand advertisents.
Xia Yuan wore a frilly Lolita princess dress, embodying a sweet, cute campus idol aesthetic as she smiled and waved at the cara. Surrounding her real-life image were ani-style plushies, vinyl records, guitars, the Yuanxia Music logo, and a subtle hint at the upcoming virtual strear project.
Lin Youxi, wearing glasses and holding a scepter shaped like a small TV, sat regally on a throne. Around her were elents like code snippets, ga controllers, the Linxi Tech logo, and a hidden reference to the TabTab project.
Finally, i Fang made his grand appearance in a Joker-style trench coat (inspired by Persona 5), seated at the head of a long table in a boss chair. The poster was shrouded in misty black fog, with a spotlight focused solely on him.
Striking the iconic “Commander Ikari” pose—chin resting on clasped hands—i Fang was flanked by shadowy figures representing the core mbers of his team, led by “Uncle.”
At the far end of his gaze, blurred logos of Cimigo Gas, Linxi Tech, and Yuanxia Music encircled the erging outline of the Fandomverse brand. The poster was filled with related promotional text:
[Join the youngest entrepreneurial team in history and achieve your otaku dreams! The Fandomverse Project spans the full spectrum of ACGN culture—top global talent welco!]
[The Fandomverse Project · N-Series is coming soon! Shatter societal chains and adult prejudices—let’s ride the wave of a new era together!]
In the month before school started, i Fang had been fully focused on this brand campaign. Beyond massive online exposure, offline promotions were concentrated in Pengcheng.
Now, bus stops, subway stations—especially in Lanshan District—were plastered with posters of i Fang, Xia Yuan, and Lin Youxi. Such extensive ground promotions clearly couldn’t be done with just 5 million yuan.
Through so financial maneuvering, i Fang increased the budget to 13 million.
With this flood of traffic, major dia outlets jumped on the coverage. Online forums buzzed daily with discussions about i Fang and his otaku empire.
Supporters cheered, declaring that Chinese light novels and ani were on the verge of a golden age. But just as many netizens remained skeptical of i Fang’s aggressive moves. After all, everyone—including i Fang himself—knew the fundantal reasons why otaku culture had struggled to thrive in the past.
Regardless, before any major crackdown could happen, “Uncle’s” N-Series (Novel) brand and its light novel platform were already up and running. Uncle had poached many experienced editors, especially from Shengda before its collapse into Yuewen. Many of them now had their sights set on joining the Fandomverse Project.
The Pengcheng office wasn’t just Cimigo staff—many were team mbers assigned by Uncle to develop the Fandomverse Project. The operations manager, watching search trics for the project explode exponentially, couldn’t help but sigh in amazent.
“See? I told you trusting the boss was the right move.”
Uncle, ever the jovial and smiling figure, nodded in agreent. “Who knew our boss wasn’t just a mascot? His copywriting skills are insane—going viral overnight. I’m seriously impressed.”
“Not even 20 yet, but he’s already living the dream everyone wishes they had.”
“When I first t him, he was already thinking years ahead—copyright wars, regulatory approvals, monetization strategies. Even with a decade of experience, sotis I feel like my ideas aren’t as mature as the Stationmaster’s.”
“Sure, sotis his inexperience shows in the details, but the big-picture vision is never wrong… It’s almost like—”
“Like what?”
Uncle Chen Rui adjusted his glasses, a sharp glint in his eyes.
“Almost like he’s looking at the present and future… from the perspective of soone who’s already seen it all.”
The operations manager, who had followed Uncle from Liequan Mobile, sighed deeply.
“For you to praise soone this highly… Feels like sticking with him will take us far.”
“Our boss really does feel like he stepped out of an ani. And on top of that, he’s got talents I never even imagined.”
Chen Rui chuckled and shook his head. “Enough of that. Let’s get back to work—we’ve got to make sure the Fandomverse Project’s launch event is ready before the Stationmaster starts school.”
“Got it!”
While Chen Rui and the Pengcheng team worked tirelessly, i Fang was also hard at work—demonstrating so of those unimaginable talents.
“Mmm… yeah… right there. A-Fang’s hands are the best… feels amazing.”
After injuring her shoulder during the photoshoot, i Fang was now giving Xia Yuan a compensatory massage. She lay there, thoroughly enjoying herself, while Lin Youxi sat by the floor-to-ceiling window of their new apartnt’s balcony, sipping coffee and gazing at Pengcheng’s glittering skyline.
“School’s starting soon… This month’s been really fulfilling.”
“Fulfilling? More like exhausting.” i Fang sighed. “We’ve poured so much into this—I just hope it pays off.”
“That doesn’t sound very confident.”
“Yeah, the recent data looks great, doesn’t it?” Xia Yuan murmured. “I’ve even been dreaming about an ani adaptation of our story one day.”
“That’s… way too far ahead,” i Fang said, rubbing her shoulders. “Let’s just focus on surviving college first.”
Xia Yuan nestled into his arms. “But after all this business success, going back to university feels a little… childish.”
“Think of it as enjoying our youth while we still can,” i Fang said. “Besides, we’ve still got that ‘dating ga’ to settle.”
Lin Youxi set down her coffee, staring at the distant Spring Bamboo Tower. Xia Yuan watched her back, lost in thought.
