If Guo Yun’s eyes weren’t deceiving her, Lin Youxi was currently straddling i Fang’s lap, her hands resting on his waist—an intimate pose even most couples wouldn’t dare attempt in public.

And this was happening right in front of Xia Yuan, i Fang’s official girlfriend.

Outside, a light drizzle began to fall, providing a soft background patter.

Flustered, Guo Yun glanced at Xia Yuan, who was equally surprised by Lin Youxi’s bold move. Xia Yuan frantically gestured at Lin Youxi with widened eyes.

“Uh—are we telling Yunyun now?”

“We’ve beco such good friends with her.”

Lin Youxi smiled at Guo Yun. “As you can see, while Yuan and A-Fang are the public couple, our confession was actually a three-way arrangent from the start.”

“What?!“

Guo Yun’s shock mirrored Liu Xiaoyu’s reaction upon accidentally witnessing i Fang kiss both Xia Yuan and Lin Youxi.

But unlike Xiaoyu, Guo Yun had known the trio since middle school—and had even been i Fang’s desk mate. Her bond with him ran deeper than with either girl, so she’d never pitied Xia Yuan or Lin Youxi.

“I always wondered how you convinced Youxi… She liked i Fang so much in middle school. So this was the solution?”

“Did I seem that obvious back then?”

Lin Youxi tilted her head. “Surely not as bad as soone’s puppy eyes.”

“Hey! I wasn’t that obvious!” Xia Yuan protested before turning to Guo Yun. “Forget that—tell us how Youxi acted around A-Fang in class!”

“As his desk mate, I noticed our class rep kept glancing back at him.” Guo Yun hesitated. “Does anyone else know about… this?”

“Just Xiaoyu, after she found out accidentally.”

“So Xuexue and Xinyi don’t know yet.” Guo Yun grew serious. “They’re both straightforward—especially Xuexue. She adores you two. This might… hurt her.”

Xia Yuan nodded. “I planned to tell her before our ‘breakup.’ But now that she’s in Chengdu…”

Lin Youxi, anwhile, was more interested in Guo Yun’s opinion. Still massaging i Fang’s abdon, she asked, “What do you think of us three?”

“? Well…”

Guo Yun fidgeted. “It’s… unconventional. But if it works for you, then it’s wonderful.”

i Fang finally spoke up: “You’re putting her on the spot. She can’t exactly say no to you two.”

“No! I genuinely an it!”

Guo Yun waved her hands. “Back in middle school, it was clear A-Fang could never choose between you. When he only dated Yuan publicly, I actually felt bad for Youxi.”

She clasped her hands, smiling softly. “This outco makes happy for all of you.”

“Thank you! I hope you find soone special too.”

Xia Yuan hugged her. Lin Youxi finally stood up. “Alright—A-Fang’s done his set. Yuan, your turn.”

“Wait! I’m still full! No workouts after als—ahhh!”

As i Fang and Lin Youxi herded a protesting Xia Yuan toward the equipnt, Guo Yun quietly stepped back.

Her gaze lingered on i Fang.

He was laughing—utterly free, utterly unburdened.

Like a child, pure and unburdened.

Guo Yun diligently guided Xia Yuan through her first full workout session. By the ti the cardio was done, Xia Yuan was completely spent, collapsing onto Lin Youxi.

“Post-workout snacks are allowed now. Stick to three strength sessions and five cardio sessions weekly—you’ll slim down in no ti.”

“Ugh… This is torture… Yunyun, did you really endure this alone? How?!”

“Hehe… With enough determination… anything’s possible.”

Guo Yun slipped on her jacket. “It’s getting late—I should head ho.”

i Fang and Lin Youxi stood. “Won’t you stay for dinner?”

“Dinner’s still early, and I promised my family.”

“Let walk you out.”

This ti, Guo Yun didn’t refuse. They rode the elevator down together.

“Yuan pushed through her first session well,” Guo Yun remarked. “She’s really trying.”

i Fang chuckled. “That’s Yuan for you. Might seem delicate, but she’s stubborn when it counts.”

“The way you look at her and Youxi… your eyes sparkle.”

Guo Yun smiled. “After all these years, you still act like lovesick teens. I expected more… familial vibes.”

“We do usually operate like family. Youxi was just extra bold today. Didn’t shock you, right?”

“Not at all.”

They stepped outside. “I’m honored you trusted with this.”

“We want our closest friends’ blessings,” i Fang admitted. “Especially Xinyi and Xuexue.”

“Take your ti. You’ve never failed at anything, Boss i.”

She playfully punched his arm. “Drop the title, please. And thanks for coaching us—co whenever you’re free.”

“Will do.”

Different.

His smiles with them…

His smiles with …

As the taxi pulled away, Guo Yun replayed the day in her mind. The rain had stopped, and a faint rainbow arched across the damp sky.

She reached to wipe the window before realizing the droplets were outside. Laughing at herself, she watched the colors fade.

Untouchable, yet unforgettable.

Soone like a rainbow—you never know they exist until you see them.

(TL: AHHHH I hope Guo Yun finds soone amazing 😢)
