"Leisian? Could this little girl be...?" Nine Phoenix swallowed and asked in surprise.

"Shouldn't she have just been born?" Chaos also looked puzzled. This little girl appeared to be at least four or five years old.

"Life force," Gaka whispered, realizing sothing.

When rciless was pregnant with this little girl, she absorbed an imnse amount of life force, causing the child's growth rate to be abnormal and far beyond what common logic would suggest.

John ignored the others and quickly said, "Senior, I'm here to rescue rciless."

"Hmph, if it weren't for you, rciless wouldn't have fallen to this state!" Goldfla coldly glared at him, still filled with murderous intent.

Leisian curiously looked at him and asked, "Do you know my mother? Who are you?"

"Leisian!"

John was about to speak but was interrupted by Goldfla.

With a flash of movent, she placed Leisian behind her and coldly stared at John. "For the sake of the little girl, I'll spare you this ti. Get lost!"

"Senior!" John's anger flared, and he said, "Do you really think I would harm them?"

"Grandmother." Leisian tugged at Goldfla's sleeve.

Goldfla furrowed her brows and coldly asked, "Are you really here to save rciless?"

"Of course," John nodded firmly.

"Good." Goldfla pondered for a mont before speaking again. "You can follow , but you must not reveal your identity."

She glanced at Leisian, her gaze implying sothing.

"You old hag, are you being too cruel?" Before John could respond, Forest King Great Bear angrily shouted.

As a father, he understood the cruelty of not being able to recognize one's own child.

Goldfla shot him a cold glare and said, "If you don't agree, then get lost."

"Fine, I agree." John didn't hesitate, nodding in agreent. His goal was to save rciless and her daughter.

Now that he had seen Leisian, even if they couldn't acknowledge each other, he didn't mind.

The little girl blinked her eyes, gazing at him and breaking into a smile.

She had already figured out John's identity, and the two shared an unspoken understanding.

Goldfla glared at Leisian, pulling her behind her once again, and continued, "And one more thing—you'll be known as people from Tiandollar. You're now under my control, bound by a soul contract, and must follow my orders in everything."

"Alright." John nodded without hesitation and then asked, "What is your plan?"

"You don't need to know. Just follow my instructions." She then took Leisian's hand and began flying towards Thoublade City.

He hurriedly caught up and said, "Senior, please let Leisian stay in my World-in-Hand. It will be safer that way."

"Mm?" Goldfla furrowed her brows but nodded in agreent, warning, "You better not try anything funny."

"Don't worry," he replied, not bothering to engage with the old woman. He turned to Leisian and gently said, "Will you stay in my World-in-Hand for now?"

The little girl tilted her head and asked, "Will there be anyone to keep company?"

He was montarily stunned and then felt a twinge of regret for not bringing Jean along.

This mission was dangerous, and none of the won were with him this ti.

Looking at the little girl, he softly replied, "There won't be anyone else in my World-in-Hand, but there are so very friendly little animals. You'll probably like them."

"Okay!" The little girl brightened up and nodded eagerly.

She didn't want to be alone, but having small animals for company made her happy.

John smiled, her optimism lifting his spirits as well. With a flick of his hand, he gently drew her into his World-in-Hand.

His World-in-Hand was now almost identical to the real world—mountains, rivers, trees, flowers, and all kinds of docile animals.

Most importantly, it was rich in resources, and the spiritual energy was abundant. But from what he could tell, Leisian didn't seem like the type to enjoy cultivation.

"Young man, let remind you," Goldfla said coldly, "I won't let rciless or Leisian leave with you."

"Why?" John asked, confused. He didn't understand why this old woman would have such strong animosity toward him.

"All n are no good," Goldfla replied, still filled with hostility. "I don't want them to be hurt again." She gave him another cold warning and then accelerated toward Thoublade City.

John was speechless. He suspected that this old woman had been burned by a scoundrel in the past, otherwise, she wouldn't be so aggressive.

If she hadn't saved Leisian, he would have completely ignored her.

They arrived back in the city.

The number of powerful figures within the city had clearly increased, with several five-star and six-star Emperors among them.

John carefully observed these individuals. Many were The Overseers, likely from the mysterious Tiandollar organization, and there were also people from the rciless Sect.

He suspected there might even be divine servants disguised as adventurers.

Faced with so many powerful figures, John felt uneasy. He couldn't help but ask again, "Senior, what exactly is your plan?"

Goldfla hesitated for a mont before answering, "Cooperation with the rciless Sect."

"The rciless Sect?" John's expression turned cold. "Do those people really have such good intentions?"

He had already learned about the several misfortunes rciless had faced, all due to betrayal by the rciless Sect. He held no positive feelings toward the mbers of that sect.

Goldfla spoke, "They have set their sights on Leisian, wanting to make her the next Saintess of the rciless Sect."

"Impossible!" John imdiately rejected the idea.

The rciless Sect was ruthless and cold-blooded; his daughter would never beco like them.

Although Goldfla didn't have a favorable opinion of the rciless Sect either, she explained, "We are too weak. The only way to save rciless is through them."

John fell silent. Given the current situation, relying on the rciless Sect seed to be the only option.

First, they had to rescue rciless, and then they could figure out the rest.

Goldfla seed very familiar with Thoublade City. She led John and the others through several twists and turns until they arrived at a secluded alley.

Soon, they stopped in front of a dilapidated courtyard wall. Goldfla looked at John and the others, once again reminding them, "Rember, don't reveal your identities. It will cause trouble."

The group nodded.

She took a step forward, extended her staff, and rhythmically knocked on the wooden door.

Creeeak!

The old wooden door slowly creaked open, revealing a hidden garden inside. There were rockeries, a pond, and lush vegetation, though the atmosphere felt cold and lifeless, as if the plants had no vitality.

"Long ti no see, Elder Goldfla," a cold and beautiful voice ca from inside.

By the rockery, a pavilion stood, and a woman sat there, elegantly sipping tea from a cup. Behind her, several masked mbers of the sect stood coldly, their eyes fixed on the newcors.

John curiously examined the woman. Her beauty was stunning, but her expression was as cold and noble as the rciless Emperor's, distant and unapproachable.

Goldfla stepped forward and casually found a seat.

John, noticing the unfriendly glares directed at him.

Hesitated before giving a wry smile and stepping behind Goldfla.

"Who are these people?" the cold woman asked, setting down her teacup and eyeing John and the others with curiosity.

Goldfla replied straightforwardly, "They are my subordinates, from Tiandollar."

"Really?" The woman clearly didn't believe her, especially Dulu, who was clearly not from The Overseer.

She wasn't too concerned, though. Their power was weak, and they posed no real threat to her.

"Well then," she continued, "what is it that you want from ?"

Goldfla got straight to the point. "Help save rciless, and I'll hand over Leisian to you."

The woman's lips curled slightly, as she toyed with her teacup. She spoke indifferently, "So the little girl is in your hands. But then, why should I risk offending the Creator God for you?"

As she spoke, the people behind her stepped forward, preparing to act.

"Hmph!" Goldfla sneered, showing no fear. "You won't find Leisian."

"Is that so?" The cold woman raised her gaze, scanning John and the others one by one, then spoke, "The little girl must be hiding in one of your World-in-Hand, right?"

Nine Phoenix's heart skipped a beat. She could feel that this woman's power was far from ordinary—definitely not weaker than Goldfla's. If they fought, the outco was uncertain.

Goldfla remained calm, replying indifferently, "Do you really think I would let you find her so easily? Help save rciless, or you will never get Leisian. I've been navigating the star regions for many years, and I'm sure of this."

She stared directly at the cold woman, showing no signs of fear.

The woman furrowed her brow and asked, "Won't Thoublade help you?"

Goldfla responded, "He doesn't want to expose his identity."

Thoublade?

John listened intently to their conversation, his mind full of questions.

Could the "Thoublade" they were talking about be the Lord of Thoublade City? Isn't he a mber of Kaos? Why would he help rciless?

And what did "exposing his identity" an? Was he an undercover agent near Kaos?

John glanced at Gaka and Dulu for clarification.

Gaka shook his head, just as confused.

Dulu, seemingly carefree, was chewing sothing and wasn't paying attention to the conversation at all.

John sighed inwardly.

The cold woman remained silent for a while before speaking again, "I'll help you deal with The Overseer, but I don't care about the divine servants. Whether you can save rciless or not depends on your abilities. However, I must have that little girl. If you go back on your word, you won't be able to escape, no matter where you go."

"Don't worry, I keep my word." Goldfla didn't want to waste any more ti with her. She stood up and said, "We move in half a month."

Without waiting for a response, she led John and the others straight out.

As they left the courtyard, John couldn't help but ask, "Senior, were you talking about the Lord of Thoublade City just now? What's your relationship with him?"

"Don't ask what you shouldn't," Goldfla shot him a cold glance, quickening her pace.

John quickly caught up and asked again, "Senior, where is rciless?"

She sounded a bit impatient, but still answered, "I don't know. She's not in Thoublade City."

"Not in Thoublade City?" John was taken aback and asked in confusion, "Wasn't it said that she would be publicly executed here in half a month?"

Goldfla nodded, "Yes, but she's not here now. If she were, I would risk my life to save her."

"Alright." Seeing that John still had questions, she spoke again, "This matter is very complicated. I will tell you what you need to know when the ti cos. For now, find a place to stay low and avoid revealing your identity. I have other things to take care of."

Before John could respond, her figure vanished in the blink of an eye.
