John looked at Dulu, and a new idea began to form in his mind.

He explained, "It's the good things I've promised you, like Spirit Stones, magic cores, and various treasures."

Dulu paused thoughtfully, then shook his head and said, "No, I only follow the orders of the Creator God."

Free stuff?

This Kaos really is infuriating.

John's gaze flickered, and he continued, "If there's nothing in it for you, why risk your life? How about you work for , instead of being exploited... I an, working for ?"

Dulu stopped what he was doing, looking serious, and asked, "Will there be any benefits?"

"Of course," John nodded. "Spirit Stones, magic cores, and all kinds of cultivation resources—just tell how much you want."

These things were nothing difficult for him.

His World-in-Hand still had a Spirit Stone vein that hadn't been mined yet.

As for the magic cores, with the countless Bone Devouring Beasts and Soul Devouring Beasts invading, he had as many as he wanted.

But Dulu shook his head. These things weren't valuable to him.

"I don't want those things," he said, deep in thought. "Do you have sothing that's red, really crunchy, and sweet?"

Red, crunchy, and sweet?

John was confused. It seed like he was talking about so kind of fruit.

But the description was too vague for him to tell what kind of treasure it was.

He continued, "Can you describe it in more detail? Like, what does it do?"

Dulu scratched his bald head, looking just as confused, and said, "It doesn't seem to have any special effects. I found it by chance on a certain star domain."

No special effects?

John suspected it was so kind of fruit, but the description was too general.

Still, he had a different idea forming in his mind.

He focused and summoned Jean from his World-in-Hand.

"Jean, go find so fruits, just ordinary ones," he instructed the little girl.

"Fruits?" Jean blinked, confused, as she looked at John, then at Dulu.

Cultivators didn't need food, so she couldn't understand why the two of them wanted regular fruits.

She spoke up, "There are plenty of ordinary fruits in World-in-Hand. The Tree of Life can also bear regular fruits."

"The Tree of Life can?" John asked, surprised. He knew the Tree of Life could bear fruit—after all, the Earth Elf had been nurtured by it.

But as his cultivation improved, the elves' potential no longer interested him, so he had stopped nurturing them.

What he didn't know was that the Tree of Life could bear ordinary fruit.

He looked at Jean and continued, "Then go collect so fruit from World-in-Hand."

The little girl nodded and once again entered her World-in-Hand.

Gulp!

Dulu couldn't help but swallow, his expression filled with anticipation. He spoke up, "Kid, let make it clear in advance, I only want those delicious fruits. Otherwise, I won't betray the Creator God."

As he spoke, he glanced at the barrier covered with cracks. He could feel that the barrier in this star domain would soon be destroyed.

"Don't worry, you'll be satisfied," John replied confidently. Based on the description from this guy, what he had eaten before was probably just an ordinary fruit.

Although John didn't know exactly what it was, the fruits from World-in-Hand would definitely be far superior to regular ones.

Buzz!

With a fluctuation in space, Jean reappeared, holding several unknown fruits in her arms, each about the size of her head.

"Big Brother, these are the fruits nurtured by the Tree of Life," she explained, handing the fruits to John.

The fruits were light green, translucent like jade, and emitted a faint life force.

"This isn't the fruit I'm looking for." Dulu glanced at it briefly, his face full of disappointnt. He raised his spear again and continued striking the barrier.

"Wait a minute." John quickly stopped him and tossed him a fruit. "Try this first."

Dulu hesitated for a mont but eventually put the fruit in his mouth.

Crunch!

The fruit was crisp, its juice flowing, releasing a rich fragrance.

"Hmm?" Dulu's eyes imdiately lit up. He nodded to John, then quickly devoured the entire fruit in a few bites.

He swallowed and fixed his gaze on the remaining fruits in John's hand, saying, "This tastes even better than the fruits I ate before."

John watched Dulu's exaggerated expression, then, curious, took a bite for himself.

The fruit was crisp and sweet, with a rich, lingering taste. It contained life force, far surpassing ordinary fruit, though it still didn't et his expectations.

He ignored Dulu and turned to Jean, asking, "Are these fruits rare? How many can the Tree of Life produce?"

The little girl shrugged and thought for a mont. "These are just ordinary fruits ford by the Tree of Life. We can have as many as we want, they're not really valuable."

She had tasted one earlier, and the life force within it was almost negligible. Aside from satisfying one's hunger, it didn't provide any real boost to one's strength.

John felt relieved. It seed that nurturing these fruits had no impact on the Tree of Life.

He casually tossed a few more fruits to Dulu, saying, "So, what do you think? How about joining ?"

If he could recruit a five-star Emperor-level powerhouse with these seemingly worthless fruits, it would be a huge win for him.

Dulu grabbed the green fruit, impatiently took another bite, and absentmindedly nodded. After a mont of thought, he said, "Okay. But I want two of these fruits every day."

"Two fruits? I'll give you ten a day!" John said boldly, a look of generosity on his face.

Dulu's eyes lit up. He quickly swallowed the fruit in his mouth and said, "Let's sign a contract!"

He seed afraid that John might change his mind, so he proactively requested they sign a soul contract.

Jean, who was standing nearby, was stunned.

She knew how powerful Dulu was; Sini and the others wouldn't dare to provoke him. Yet, she hadn't expected him to be easily won over by a few fruits that didn't seem to hold much value.

She felt even more admiration for John in that mont.

The two of them smoothly signed the soul contract.

John didn't expect it to be so easy to ta such a powerful individual.

At the sa ti, he silently cursed that Kaos for being such a wicked capitalist, exploiting Dulu to this extent. He had been bought off with just ten fruits a day.

John didn't believe that Kaos' star domain couldn't produce similar fruits.

He looked at Dulu and asked, "What's your ability? How do you make yourself disappear like that?"

John recalled Dulu's strange ability, which was definitely not a common talent.

If he weren't already in control of Dulu, he might have thought about killing him, just to see if he could Plunder his ability.

But now that Dulu had been tad and they had signed a soul contract, there was no need for that.

Dulu didn't hide anything. He answered, "Master, it's the Void Law. I can rge with the Void and beco immune to any damage."

"Void Law?" John was confused. Could Void also be a form of power?

He looked out at the vast expanse of the Void, sensing carefully, but he couldn't feel any law or power present.

The Void was empty, devoid of any force. This was the first ti he had heard of sothing called the Void Law.

Dulu couldn't explain it any better. According to him, he had been born within the Void and had gained this ability from birth.

Unfortunately, his intelligence wasn't fully developed, and he had been abandoned by his parents. He didn't rember much of what had happened before.

John felt a bit disappointed. The Void Law was probably similar to Sini's Power of the Nine Nether or Tracy's Star Dust power. It likely required special thods to comprehend.

Not wanting to dwell on it any longer, he continued asking:

"Will Kaos know about what happened here?"

"Yes. The Soul Devouring Beasts can communicate with Kaos," Dulu answered indifferently, as if he had no fear of Kaos.

Soul Devouring Beasts?

John glanced at the magical beasts gathering in the distance, still hamring away at the barrier.

However, without Dulu's help, these beasts stood no chance of breaking the barrier. It was impossible with their current strength.

And John certainly wouldn't let them succeed.

His gaze shifted to the spatial portal in the Void, through which magical beasts were continuously appearing.

He coldly said, "Let's deal with these guys first."

"Don't worry, leave it to ." Dulu's attitude shifted, and he tucked the remaining two green fruits away. With a flick of his spear, he charged toward several giant beasts, each at the three-star Emperor level.

Jean stood there, montarily unable to process what she had just seen. She asked, "Big Brother, you really tad him just like that?"

She still couldn't believe it.

John nodded and said, "Perhaps it's my charm."

The little girl scoffed, unconvinced by this answer.

"By the way, where are Nature God and Cand-Dragon?" John asked. He hadn't seen Cand-Dragon and the others in the past few days and was curious about their whereabouts.

Jean explained, "They're on a nearby planet. The laws of this star domain have started to awaken, and they've gained new insights. They're trying to break through to the Emperor realm."

"That quickly?" John was a bit surprised. Nature God and Cand-Dragon had just broken through to nine-star strength with his help not long ago. Breaking through to Emperor level wasn't an easy feat.

Now it seed that the changes in the Initial World had not only been a big help to him but had also greatly boosted the lives within it.

That was a good thing.

John could sense that even though he had tad Dulu, the barrier in this star domain would soon fall. When that happened, a disaster would inevitably strike.

With Nature God and the others' strength rising, they would be in a better position to protect the star domain.

Boom, boom...

The sound of explosions echoed as Dulu unleashed his terrifying power. It was like an uninhabited land, as he massacred magical beasts with wild abandon.

"Dulu, how dare you betray us? The Creator God will never forgive you..." a three-star Emperor Soul Devouring Beast roared in fury.

But its voice was quickly cut off as Dulu struck it down with a single thrust of his spear.

Such a massive commotion soon caught the attention of Nine Phoenix and the others.

They watched, stunned, as Dulu relentlessly slaughtered the magical beasts.

"Has this guy really betrayed us?" Heavenly King asked, surprised.

John nodded and briefly explained how he had tad Dulu.

"Is that... even possible?" The group stared in shock, utterly disbelief on their faces.

"To think a powerful being could be so ntally incomplete... I've never heard of anything like that before," Nine Phoenix said, observing Dulu's wild slaughter of the magical beasts, his curiosity piqued.

"Old man, what's that fruit? I want to try it too," Tracy said, her focus clearly elsewhere, now fixated on John.
