She gripped her staff as Aether descended, bringing them into clear view of the battlefield. The void dragon's distinctive appearance—obsidian scales gleaming, energy crackling around his form—imdiately drew attention.

"What is that?!"

"A dragon?! Is that a player's summon?!"

"Look, there's soone riding it!"

The French awakeners' voices carried shock and confusion as they spotted the unexpected arrival. Then Charlotte raised her staff, and mana began swirling around her with visible intensity.

Instead of forming Hello Kitty constructs that would explode indiscriminately, Charlotte channelled her creativity into sothing more precise. Glowing mana coalesced into shapes that made several awakeners do double-takes.

Adorable cartoon stars—five-pointed, with smiling faces—materialised around Charlotte's position. But these weren't bombs. Each star was a focused mana projectile, designed to pierce rather than explode, concentrating destructive force into a narrow point that would kill demons without devastating the surrounding area.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The smiling stars shot forward with incredible velocity, tracking individual demons with guided precision. Each star struck its target centre-mass, punching through demonic hide before detonating internally—small, contained explosions that killed without spreading damage beyond the imdiate victim.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Three superior-rank demons collapsed simultaneously, smoking holes in their chests where the cute stars had penetrated and exploded.

The French awakeners stared in shock as the mysterious girl on the dragon systematically eliminated threats they'd been struggling against.

Charlotte didn't stop. She ford more constructs—this ti glowing ribbons similar to what she'd used before, but refined. The ribbons shot forward like lasers, wrapping around demon limbs with incredible precision before constricting with enough force to sever flesh and bone.

SLICE! SLICE! SLICE!

A level 20 demon charging toward a group of exhausted fighters suddenly found its legs cut out from under it. Charlotte's ribbon construct had dismbered it mid-charge, and a follow-up star projectile finished it with a precise headshot.

"Who is that?!" one awakener shouted to his companions, his sword lowering slightly as he watched the aerial assault.

"I don't know, but she's destroying them!" another responded with obvious relief.

"Look at her control! Every attack is perfectly targeted, no collateral damage!"

Charlotte continued her systematic elimination, adapting her constructs for each situation with impressive tactical awareness. When demons clustered together, she ford chains of glowing mana—cute cartoon links with smiling faces—that connected multiple enemies before conducting explosive energy through the entire group simultaneously.

BOOM-BOOM-BOOM!

Five demons died in synchronized internal explosions, their bodies collapsing without damaging nearby buildings.

When a particularly large level 12 demon erged from the rift, Charlotte ford sothing new—a giant glowing teddy bear made of condensed mana. The construct looked absurdly adorable, and several awakeners actually laughed at the sight despite the desperate circumstances.

Then the teddy bear moved with frightening speed, tackling the large demon and hugging it with crushing force. The demon roared in pain as the teddy bear's embrace compressed its body with hydraulic pressure, ribs cracking audibly.

Charlotte detonated the construct while it maintained its hold, and the large demon's torso simply... ceased to exist, consud by the internal explosion that had nowhere to escape.

"She just killed a level 12 with an exploding teddy bear hug," an awakener said in disbelief. "What kind of talent allows for that?! She must be a beta player, otherwise...I don't know where to go anymore."

The French fighters, witnessing Charlotte's overwhelming efficiency, began rallying. Their exhaustion seed to lift, replaced by renewed hope. If this mysterious girl and her dragon could eliminate superior-rank demons so easily, maybe they could actually win this battle.

"Push forward!" one awakener shouted to his team. "Support the dragon rider! Don't let any demons get past her!"

"Reform defensive lines!" another commanded. "Coordinate with her attacks!"

Charlotte, seeing the awakeners responding to her presence, began deliberately creating openings in the demon formations. She'd eliminate threats on the flanks, allowing ground fighters to safely advance. She'd target demons attempting to flank human positions, protecting vulnerable awakeners.

She was becoming their aerial artillery, their guardian angel, their rallying point.

"Who is she?!" the question spread through the French forces like wildfire.

"Does it matter?! She's saving our asses!"

"I heard rumors about Sir Fateless having powerful allies—maybe this is one of them?"

"On a dragon though? That's insane!"

Charlotte ford her next construct—a school of tiny glowing fish, each one trailing sparkles as they swam through the air. The absurdly cute appearance made several awakeners grin despite the chaos.

Then the fish sward a group of demons like piranhas, each one latching onto exposed flesh before detonating in rapid succession.

Pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop!

The demons scread as hundreds of tiny explosions consud them from the outside in, death by adorable aquatic bombardnt.

"That's... that's the most ridiculous combat style I've ever seen," an awakener muttered. "And it's working perfectly."

Arthur watched from Aether's back with enormous pride as Charlotte commanded the battlefield. She wasn't just fighting—she was leading, providing hope through her overwhelming display of power.

His sister, who'd been dying of mana poisoning just hours ago, was now single-handedly turning the tide of a demon invasion.

And she was doing it with exploding teddy bears and smiling stars.

Only Charlotte.

"Master's sister is amazing!" Aether chirped enthusiastically. "Everyone down there loves her!"

Arthur smiled, watching as the French awakeners fought with renewed vigour, their coordination improving as they adapted to Charlotte's support.

Soon enough, the demons that had been threatening the awakeners were nothing but corpses littering the ground. The battlefield that had been chaotic monts before now showed clear signs of human victory, with exhausted but triumphant fighters catching their breath.

Arthur, who had been maintaining his hidden identity throughout the battle, had also been eliminating demons alongside Charlotte. His spatial manipulation allowed for silent, invisible kills—demons simply collapsing with severed spines or punctured hearts, their deaths attributed to the ongoing chaos rather than a specific source.

But more importantly, Arthur's guaranteed drop talent was working overti.

With each demon that fell to his blade or spatial cuts, equipnt materialised very rare-rank weapons, armour pieces, and accessories. The items scattered across the battlefield, glowing faintly as they awaited collection.

"Oh my god! Very Rare equipnt is dropping!" one awakener shouted with genuine shock, reaching down to grab a gleaming sword that had appeared beside a demon corpse.

"Here too!" another called out, hefting a rare-rank chest plate. "I've never seen drop rates this good!"

The French awakeners scrambled to collect the equipnt, their exhaustion montarily forgotten in the face of such fortune. Rare-rank gear was normally difficult to obtain—requiring either substantial wealth or defeating powerful enemies with unreliable drop chances.

But Arthur's talent ensured every kill produced guaranteed loot, and his elimination of dozens of demons had created a windfall that would significantly strengthen the entire French defensive force.

Awakeners imdiately began equipping the rare items, replacing damaged or inferior gear. Their combat effectiveness would jump substantially with these upgrades, making future demon encounters more manageable.

"This is incredible!" a female awakener exclaid, testing the weight of her new rare-rank spear. "Where did all this co from?"

"Does it matter? Just take it and be grateful!"

"Maybe it's from that dragon rider? So kind of luck skill?"

Charlotte, still hovering on Aether's back, looked confused by the equipnt appearing. She glanced back at Arthur with a questioning expression.

Arthur simply smiled and shook his head slightly—not now, I'll explain later.
