The Winter Beast imdiately began compressing its massive body, shrinking from its towering combat form to sothing more manageable. Flesh compacted as the creature reduced itself to roughly the size of a average human, small enough to ride on Aetherion’s back alongside the other summons.
The Tidal Flamingo had been completely ignoring the Winter Beast so far, assuming the injured creature was out of the fight. It hadn’t attacked in a while, lying still in the shallow water as if defeated or recovering. The legendary flamingo had dismissed it as a non-threat, focusing entirely on the aerial enemies that continued to harass it.
But when Arthur and Aetherion suddenly teleported directly toward the Winter Beast’s position, the flamingo’s four eyes widened with alarm.
