His spatial aura intensified as the demons closed the distance, reality beginning to warp around him in response to his emotional state. The energy that had been building since receiving news about Charlotte’s procedure finally had an appropriate outlet.

The demons had made a tactical error in grouping together—Arthur’s area-of-effect capabilities would turn their coordination advantage into a vulnerability that he could exploit for maximum efficiency.

As the first wave of demons reached striking distance, Arthur smiled. The stress relief he needed was about to begin in earnest.

Arthur drew Chaos from its sheath, the pseudo-legendary katana shaking with anticipation as it sensed the approaching feast of demonic blood. While the blood wouldn’t contribute to Arthur’s personal attribute enhancent boost, each drop absorbed would restore the blade closer to its original legendary status.

The first demon lunged with claws extended, moving faster than human eyes could track. Arthur sidestepped with fluid grace, Chaos singing through the air in a perfect arc that opened the creature’s throat. Dark ichor sprayed across the street as the blade drank deeply, its surface glowing with renewed vitality.

Two more demons attacked simultaneously from opposite flanks. Arthur ducked low, spinning beneath their coordinated strike while his katana carved upward through the first demon’s torso. The second creature’s claws raked across his back, but his enhanced durability turned what should have been fatal wounds into nothing.

Arthur wasn’t actively trying to dodge; he was just sort of playing around.

Arthur flowed like water between the demons’ attacks without even trying to. When a massive demon brought both fists down where he had been standing, Arthur was already elsewhere, Chaos punching through its spine in a reverse grip that sent more blood cascading onto the hungry blade.

Pshh!

The weapon’s pseudo-legendary status was visibly strengthening with each kill, its edge becoming sharper, its balance more perfect. Arthur could feel Chaos’s gratitude through their mystical connection as it fed on the high-quality demonic essence.

A cluster of five demons tried to overwhelm him through coordinated assault. Arthur leapt high into the air, spatial manipulation allowing him to briefly defy gravity as he descended among them like a falling teor. Chaos moved in a whirlwind of steel, opening arteries and severing limbs with no resistance.

The surviving demons began showing fear as their numbers dwindled. Arthur pursued them relentlessly, his movents becoming more fluid and deadly as adrenaline and spatial energy synchronised into perfect combat flow.

The humans watching from broken windows and rubble-strewn hiding spots could barely comprehend what they were witnessing. A single figure was systematically dismantling an army of creatures that had been slaughtering them without rcy monts before.

"Is that even human?" one survivor whispered, pressing against a shattered storefront window.

"Look at how fast he moves," another breathed. "Those things were tearing us apart, and he’s cutting through them like they’re nothing."

A young, awakened person who had been hiding in a basent crawled closer to get a better view. "The way his sword glows when it hits them... It’s like it’s alive. Finally, soone strong enough to fight back. Maybe we actually have a chance."

The woman Arthur had initially saved struggled to her feet, leaning against the wall for support as she observed her rescuer’s incredible display of power. Her fear was replaced by sothing approaching reverence as she realised she had been saved by soone so powerful.

As Arthur finished the last demon with a precise thrust through its heart, Chaos pulsed with satisfied energy. The katana had consud enough demonic blood to continue its advance toward its legendary restoration, and these few streets of Flint were montarily safe.

The surviving humans erged slowly from their hiding places, looking at Arthur with expressions mixing gratitude, awe, and the dawning realisation that not all hope was lost.

Arthur surveyed the battlefield littered with thirty very rare rank items, each one gleaming with the distinctive bright blue aura that marked their exceptional quality. The guaranteed drop from his Lucky talent had provided more resources in a single engagent than most awakened would see in their entire lifetis.

"These items are for you," Arthur announced to the survivors erging from their hiding places. "Don’t fight over them. Once your hands are on an item, it’s yours. I will co back, and if I hear that soone had tried to—"

"We won’t!" an awakened imdiately shouted, his voice cracking with excitent as he began running toward the scattered equipnt.

The man’s eyes were wide with amazent as he processed the sheer value of what Arthur was offering. Thirty very rare items representing enough wealth to transform not just individual lives, but potentially the entire survival prospects of Flint’s remaining population.

Unlike his previous encounters during his initial ti in Armageddon, Arthur was no longer concealing his guaranteed drop talent. He didn’t need to maintain such secrecy anymore—he wasn’t afraid of anyone discovering his capabilities, and the military wouldn’t necessarily connect these drops to his identity since these survivors would certainly keep such valuable information secret.

Arthur disappeared as various humans rushed toward the scattered items, their movents frantic but careful to avoid the aggressive competition he had warned against. The sight of people working together rather than fighting over resources provided so hope that humanity could maintain cooperation under extre pressure, even if it was under an obvious threat.

Arthur materialised approximately one mile away from his previous location, his spatial manipulation carrying him to another section of Flint where his enhanced senses detected significant demonic activity.

This area was also infested with demons, their grotesque forms moving through residential neighbourhoods with the sa efficiency he had witnessed in Port Huron. The creatures were conducting sweeps and destroying buildings without even bothering to look inside them for humans.

Just like all the demons throughout the world, these demons had only one job. To destroy everything before them and to enjoy themselves at the cost of human lives.

Chaos pulsed with satisfaction at his side, the katana eager to continue feeding on demonic blood while advancing toward its legendary restoration.
