[You have killed Level 11 Lesser Demon (Epic)]

[You have killed Level 12 Lesser Demon (Epic)]

[You have killed Level 10 Lesser Demon (Elite)]

Another seven dead. Another settlent erased.

Behind them, a trail of loot glittered in the harsh desert sun.

Whoever encounters it first deserves the rewards.

Arthur's logic was simple. His forces had fought to reach this position. They'd answered his call despite impossible odds. When they followed his trail of destruction, they'd find treasures that could increase their combat power.

One hundred kilotres deep into demon territory. The corrupted desert stretched endlessly in all directions.

The absence of aningful resistance was becoming genuinely concerning.

Either the demons were completely unprepared for this level of assault, or they were drawing him deeper into so kind of trap.

Or they're not here at all. It's impossible for the demons to know that sobody will retaliate or even have the power to do so.

Aether's flight carried them over another section of corrupted landscape. Below, his other summons maintained their relentless advance.

Another settlent appeared ahead—this one larger than previous outposts. Multiple buildings, more sophisticated construction.

Finally. This one might be more useful.

Arthur leaned forward, studying the target with interest.

Perhaps so true demons are here.

"Aether, descend," Arthur commanded, feeling Chaos's hilt vibrate against his palm.

The familiar resonance sent satisfaction through his bones. His katana had been patient, drinking monster blood while slowly repairing its damaged state. Each kill brought it closer to its forr Legendary glory.

[Chaos Katana (Pseudo-Legendary)]

Description: Increases all attributes by 5% while equipped. For every demon slain, the katana grants an additional 0.1% boost to all attributes (stackable up to 100 tis).

Special Skill: Blood Drain – Chaos absorbs the blood of those it slays, using it to repair its damaged state and regain its forr power. Each kill contributes to restoring the blade's strength, accelerating its progression back to Legendary rank.

Still only thirty percent repaired. More blood is needed.

Arthur drew the blade partially, examining its edge in the harsh desert light.

I need to kill a thousand demons to gain the full ten percent attribute boost. Every drop of blood matters.

The mathematics was simple. More powerful demons ant higher quality blood. True demons would accelerate Chaos's restoration far beyond what lesser demons could provide.

Ti to find worthy prey.

Aether descended in a controlled manner, his wings adjusting for combat positioning rather than casual flight in case sobody attacked.

As they approached, movent erupted from the largest building. A figure erged—not scuttling like lesser demons, but striding with predatory confidence.

Arthur's enhanced perception imdiately classified the threat:

[True Demon (Superior-Boss)]

Level: 14

Details: A true demon that has survived the old calamity.

Finally. Sothing worth killing.

The creature stood nearly three ters tall, humanoid but wrong in fundantal ways. Its flesh was the color of dried blood. Four arms ending in claws capable of rending steel. Eyes that burned.

Arthur frowned at the power assessnt.

Even though it was a Superior-rank boss, this demon radiated less threat than he'd expected due to his low level. Its level was higher than the lesser demons, but the gulf between it and Arthur's capabilities remained vast.

Disappointing. But blood is blood.

The True Demon sensed the power radiating from the human and the dragon above. Its burning eyes narrowed, calculating its odds. Then it threw back its head and released a howl that shook the settlent's foundations.

It's calling for backup.

Lesser demons poured from hidden alcoves and underground tunnels. Dozens of them, all seeking safety in numbers against an obviously superior foe.

Arthur's smile turned cold as Chaos vibrated with anticipation.

"You think this lowly backup will help you? Well, you spared the effort of looking for them."

The katana's hunger was becoming more obvious now, its blade practically singing with bloodlust.

Arthur caressed the weapon's hilt gently. "Don't worry. I'll make you taste every single drop of their blood."

'Ti to feast.'

The True Demon's burning eyes assessed Arthur with malice.

"Foolish human," it snarled, each word dripping contempt. "You dare approach the mighty Bael'thuris? I have devoured armies. I have watched empires crumble to ash."

Arrogant.

The lesser demons chittered in agreent, their voices creating a discordant chorus of mockery.

"Look at the little mortal," one cackled. "Does it think its toy sword frightens us?"

"Humans are such amusing cattle," another added. "Always believing they can challenge their betters."

The True Demon—Bael'thuris—raised all four arms skyward, clearly smug.

"Allow to educate you about the natural order, insect. Demons rule. Humans serve. You exist only to feed our appetites."

Power erupted from the creature's form like wildfire. Its already impressive physique swelled with energy. Muscles expanded, claws elongated, the fires in its eyes blazed brighter than molten steel.

The sa skill that Aamon has. It's indeed a hereditary skill that demons have. I wonder if humans have any hereditary skills from their species.

The creature's aura washed over the settlent like a tsunami of malevolence.

"Behold!" Bael'thuris roared. "True power! The might that will—"

"Impressive display," Arthur cut him off, his voice carrying his bored amusent.

"Though I've seen children's tantrums with more substance."

No need for important skills. These creatures aren't worthy of my best techniques.

The insult hit like a slap. Bael'thuris's features twisted with rage.

"INSOLENT WORM! I will feast on your entrails while you still draw breath!"

Chaos sang in Arthur's grip as he activated his spatial talent. Reality folded—

Teleportation.

He appeared directly behind the True Demon, his katana already in motion. The blade plunged through demonic flesh like butter, finding the creature's heart with precision.

His katana penetrated the heart.

Maximum blood exposure for chaos to feed on.

Bael'thuris's roar of shock and agony shattered every window in the settlent. The creature spun with impossible speed, four arms converging on Arthur's position.

"IMPOSSIBLE! How did you—WHO ARE YOU?!"

"Just a human," Arthur replied calmly, dodging a desperate swipe.
