In the reddish sky, a Six-Ard Demon with Highgod-level power frowned and whispered to his friend.
"What’s going on? Where’s the person?"
His friend looked around carefully but saw nothing strange.
Normally, a Star Raider should have been waiting for them here.
Compared to the strong warriors from the Universe Continent, the Star Raiders had a secret technique that let them call for help in a certain area.
But in the ancient battlefield ruins, there was too much strong killing energy. Normal communication thods didn’t work here at all.
"Damn it, did the one who called us get into trouble?"
"Go check nearby. See if there’s any sign of a fight!"
The two Six-Ard Demons flew off in different directions, scanning the area carefully.
The most obvious place was the Blood Lake where the Blood Demon-God was.
No surprise, the two Highgod-level Six-Ard Demons landed near the Blood Lake.
Johnnie had fought the fish monsters there before, and the battle marks hadn’t been cleaned up.
One of the Six-Ard Demons looked at the fish monster’s body on the ground and his face turned serious.
"Watch the area. I’ll try my secret thod." he said.
He tried, but got no response at all.
Everything around was quiet. Only the fish monster’s body gave off a strong sll of blood.
"How is it?" his friend asked.
"No response." the other said. "The secret thod can only send simple ssages. That guy who called us must have had so trouble."
"Never mind, let’s go hunt so humans. That Celestial Clan guy tastes pretty good." one of them said.
At that mont, the calm lake surface suddenly started to ripple quietly.
The Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword shot up from the lake like a flash of lightning, moving very fast.
The two Six-Ard Demons looked up instantly, their faces showing worry and confusion as they saw the sword.
"Is that a sword?"
The Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword floated silently above the Blood Lake, glowing softly, as if waiting for them.
The two demons were so focused on the sword that they didn’t notice the lake was getting more and more disturbed.
It wasn’t until the huge arm of the Blood Demon-God burst from the water that they realized sothing was wrong.
But it was too late. At the mont the Blood Demon-God appeared, the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword flew quickly toward them.
By the ti the Blood Demon-God noticed the two demons, the sword had vanished into thin air.
Johnnie hid in a corner, watching quietly.
The Blood Demon-God, already angry from before, now ca out and went straight into battle, with no pause at all. It swung its giant fist and hit the two demons.
The two demons weren’t weak. They quickly raised their arms to block the attack.
But the Blood Demon-God was just as strong as a Divine King. Its fists were like heavy trucks, and with a powerful swing, they smashed both demons into the ground!
"Boom!"
The earth shook. The blood in the lake moved violently.
"Damn it! That’s the Blood Demon-God! It’s the treasure!" one of the demons coughed up blood, his six arms shaking as he shouted.
His companion looked excited, dodging the Blood Demon-God’s attack as he answered:
"Yeah, if we kill him, we can get the Blood Demon Essence. It can help us reach Divine King level!"
"This is our chance. If we miss it, we’ll never get it again!"
The bleeding Six-Ard Demon kept his head clear. He shook his head and tried to run away.
The Blood Demon-God was too strong. They were no match for it.
Their friend who had called for help before must have already been killed by the Blood Demon-God.
He didn’t want to die here. If he killed enough Universe Continent warriors in the ancient battlefield ruins, he could still get a reward to help him reach Divine King level.
So he stepped back while trying to convince his friend:
"Stay calm. We can’t beat it. We should run!"
But he was only focused on the Blood Demon-God in front of him and on telling his friend to run. He didn’t notice what was behind him.
Behind him, Johnnie was quietly moving forward, holding the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword.
The Blood Demon-God noticed Johnnie. It saw the sa guy who had run away from it before.
Angry, the Blood Demon-God attacked even harder. Its blood and flesh moved, forming thick, long tentacles that shot forward toward the Six-Ard Demon!
"Damn it, I didn’t do anything to you! Are you crazy?!" The demon felt a huge pressure. He wanted to listen to his friend and run away.
He looked back at his friend, and saw Johnnie holding the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword.
"Behind you!"
It was too late. The Six-Ard Demon turned around, just in ti to see the sword flash in front of him.
A flash of sword light, and blood sprayed everywhere.
The divine artifact effect of the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword."Destroying the Evil." activated successfully.
The Six-Ard Demon had no way to defend himself. He was hit by the sword, and a deep wound appeared on his chest.
"Run!"
The attack was too strong.
The injured demon had no idea of fighting anymore.
His strong defense was as weak as paper, unable to stop Johnnie’s attack.
Johnnie wasn’t going to let him escape.
Void Sword, Seven Sword, Dragon Patterned Sword...
Divine art swords flew around the demon and attacked him wildly under Johnnie’s control.
The first attack from the Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword didn’t trigger the Nine Heavens Tribulation Lightning.
Otherwise, the demon would have been in even worse shape.
As Johnnie kept attacking, the scared demon slowly beca calm.
He realized only the first attack had almost cut him in two.
"That’s not right... you’re not that strong!"
"You dare to attack from behind? You’re asking for death!"
The injured demon suddenly exploded with power. His six arms swung fast, cutting through the air and charging at Johnnie.
"Boom!"
A flash of Nine Heavens Tribulation Lightning ca down from the sky, lighting up the reddish sky.
Thunder roared, lightning flashed, and the powerful lightning hit the demon, stopping his attack in mid-air.
Johnnie was about to attack again when he noticed another Six-Ard Demon flying toward him, fighting against the Blood Demon-God.
In an instant, Johnnie understood what the demon was trying to do.
The demon wanted Johnnie to draw the Blood Demon-God’s attention.
No way!
Johnnie jumped on his Void Sword and flew far away.
A small smile appeared on his face as he said."No need to struggle. This Blood Lake will be your grave."
As soon as he saw the Six-Ard Demon, Johnnie had wanted to kill him.
He almost forgot that he should let the two demons fight the Blood Demon-God first.
Once the ti was right, he would strike and kill the demon.
This way, he could weaken the Blood Demon-God, kill the enemy, and also increase the progress of Thunder Cultivation – Destroying the Evil.
It was perfect!
So, from that mont on, Johnnie acted like a referee. Every ti the two demons tried to run, he would step in.

"You... who are you?" one of the injured Six-Ard Demons yelled, staring at Johnnie.
Johnnie smiled but didn’t answer. He just waved his hand, and his Void Sword, Seven Sword, and Evil-Slaying Thunder Sword slowly moved toward the demon.
Under the threat of death, the demon stayed quiet for a mont, then quickly dodged the Blood Demon-God’s attacks.
He took a deep breath and shouted at Johnnie:
"I don’t want to die. I want to live. Star Raiders can connect with each other. I can help you avoid strong Star Raiders!"
At this mont, Johnnie finally said calmly:
"Avoid?"
"Why avoid?"
"Did you co into this ancient battlefield to kill all of you?"
"If I avoid, I can’t kill you."
Johnnie smiled and imdiately attacked. Before the Blood Demon-God could react, he killed the two Six-Ard Demons.
They were already badly hurt by the Blood Demon-God. They had no chance to fight back.
Killing them was like killing animals tied up in a cage.
The Blood Demon-God could only watch as Johnnie flew away quickly. It angrily hit the ground around the Blood Lake with its big fists, making loud noises.
