Golden clouds suddenly appeared in the sky, and an invisible pressure made Clens, who was fighting Skye, freeze in place for a mont.

He looked up quickly, and a look of fear appeared on his normally calm face.

"Original power... real original power!"

"Damn it, why is real original power here now?" Without hesitation, Clens quickly absorbed the black mist around him.

Without the mist, Clens saw Johnnie in the distance and imdiately realized it was Johnnie using the original power!

"Even though he’s so weak, he can use real original power. What a talent... it really makes want to have it!" Clens stared at Johnnie with intense jealousy in his eyes.

Johnnie suddenly felt like he was being watched. He saw Clens’ jealous expression and felt a strange discomfort.

From the golden clouds above, streams of golden sword-like light appeared, like strict judges. The air around them seed to freeze.

Clens, who had already absorbed the mist, didn’t run away as he had planned.

Instead, he stared at Johnnie and licked his lips.

Then, as the golden sword light ca down, Clens rushed toward Johnnie without thinking twice.

"Watch out!" Skye shouted.

The golden sword-like light from Johnnie’s Thunder Cultivation — Destroying the Evil hit Clens directly. He let out a loud, painful scream.

His huge, five-ter-tall body began to break apart at an obvious speed.

But even as he was being destroyed, Clens still stared at Johnnie, his eyes full of an intense, unexplainable jealousy.

Johnnie sensed sothing was wrong. These Star Raider royal clans were too strange. Especially Clens — instead of running away from the Thunder Cultivation — Destroying the Evil, he actually flew straight toward him!

Johnnie rembered the mont Clens first appeared. Instinctively, he looked down at his own shadow.

Nothing had changed.

Johnnie sighed in relief. Under the power of Thunder Cultivation — Destroying the Evil, Clens’ body turned into a pile of ashes.

Remnants?

Johnnie’s eyes widened. He looked at his shadow again.

This ti, he noticed sothing strange — like sothing was watching him from inside the shadow!

"Johnnie, are you okay?" Skye flew over quickly and asked.

Johnnie took a deep breath and asked Skye to take a close look at his shadow. But Skye saw nothing unusual.

Only Johnnie could feel it — sothing strange had been added to his shadow. Sothing he couldn’t explain.

This feeling was like, under the bed in the bedroom, in the corner of the ceiling, and in the cracks of the cabinet, a pair of eyes appeared silently, watching from the dark.

Every ti Johnnie tried to focus on it, the feeling would disappear, like soone suddenly turned on the lights in the dark, and everything looked normal again.

Johnnie told Sky about what he was feeling. Sky’s face turned serious.

"Johnnie, you might be the next target of Clens." he said slowly.

"The next target?" Johnnie was confused.

Sky continued, "There are so mories in my head about the Envious Royal Clan, but they’re not enough. Maybe we should go ask Terra Lady instead."

Johnnie nodded. All the clues pointed to one thing: Clens wasn’t really dead.

In fact, he even felt that Clens must have used so strange thod to get into his shadow.

Finding Sky’s head and giving him a complete body was a happy mont. But now, because of Clens, Johnnie couldn’t relax at all.

Without hesitation, he took Sky out of the sealed area and back to the Eastern Mount in the real world.

Just like before, Johnnie found the bronze door. This ti, the black chains on it had completely disappeared, and it looked completely normal. Ghosts kept walking through the door.

As soon as Johnnie appeared near the door, two strong presences quickly showed up.

It was Black Reapers Virtue and White Reapers Stable. The mont they saw Johnnie, they both bowed to him.

"What’s wrong? You look worried. Are you here to see Terra Lady?" asked Black Reapers Virtue.

Johnnie nodded and asked where Terra Lady was. He had so questions he wanted to ask her.

Black Reapers Virtue looked sad and said, "Terra Lady has left the Realm of the Dead. She only told us that the Star Raiders are getting ready, looking for weak points in the world, trying to open a path. The Lady went to stop them."

White Reapers Stable added, "Johnnie, if it’s important, you can tell us. Maybe we can help."

Johnnie thought for a mont, then told both Black and White Reapers about what had just happened.

"Wait, you an you used Thunder Cultivation — Destroying the Evil to kill a strong mber of the Envious Royal Clan?" The chains on Black Reapers suddenly shook violently.

White Reapers almost dropped his staff in surprise.

They looked at each other and both saw the sa shock in each other’s eyes.

Johnnie shook his head and corrected, "No, not completely killed. I still feel that guy, Clens, is sowhere in my shadow."

White and Black Reapers’ expressions turned serious right away. They said that Terra Lady had once told them sothing about the Envious Royal Clan.

They were very special. They could use inner jealousy to lock onto a target, and create an unbreakable anchor in the target’s shadow.

Through this anchor, the strong mbers of the Envious Royal Clan could watch the target and copy them. When the ti was right, they would try to take over the target. If that wasn’t possible, they would destroy them.

"Terra Lady only told us this much. We don’t know exactly how to destroy the anchor." said Black Reapers Virtue with a sigh.

Finding Terra Lady wasn’t easy at all.

White Reapers comforted Johnnie, "Don’t worry, Johnnie. Once Terra Lady returns to the Realm of the Dead, we’ll let you know right away. With Terra Lady around, you’ll be safe."

At this point, Johnnie had no choice but to wait for Terra Lady to co back.

He also asked White and Black Reapers about the Seven Royal Clans of the Star Raiders.

White Reapers answered, "They are the Proud Royal Clan, the Greedy Royal Clan, the Envious Royal Clan, the Angry Royal Clan, the Lazy Royal Clan, the Gluttonous Royal Clan, and the Lustful Royal Clan."

"Among them, the Gluttonous, Envious, and Proud Royal Clans have already appeared. We don’t know much about the other four yet."

Johnnie had already t the Gluttonous and Envious Royal Clans.

He was curious about what kind of strange power the Proud Royal Clan had.

White Reapers said seriously, "The elites of the Proud Royal Clan are extrely strong. They usually appear as humanoid or angel-like monsters, wearing fancy golden armor and shining crowns or helts."

"According to the stories, they never step on the ground. They always float in the air, and a staircase made of glowing dust forms under their feet. They look down on everything, seeing all living things as insects."

"Compared to other Star Raiders, the mbers of the Haughty Royal Clan at least don’t kill the weak just for fun. They just want their submission."

Never stepping on the ground?

Johnnie imagined it for a mont. That really was the peak of arrogance.

The Seven Royal Clans of the Star Raiders had only appeared three tis before. The other four were still unknown.

If those four clans also had strange powers like the Gluttonous or Envious Royal Clans, that would be a serious problem.

Terra Lady had just beco a Saint, and Johnnie thought he might finally get a little rest. But now it looked like there was no ti to rest at all. He had to keep improving his strength as quickly as possible.

After saying goodbye to White and Black Reapers, Johnnie didn’t waste any ti. He imdiately entered the Universe Continent and returned to the Montemar Empire.

He tried to contact Douglas.

"Hey, are you ready?" Johnnie sent a ssage.

Douglas replied quickly."Why so urgent?"

"There’s a secret realm in the Doe family that can use a lot of resources to create demonic creatures that match your needs. But it will take at least one more day to prepare." Douglas said.

"Johnnie, we’ve put in a lot for you this ti!"

Johnnie read the ssage and rolled his eyes. Was Douglas trying to guilt-trip him?

He knew very well that Douglas was doing all this to make sure he could deal with the Saint’s Soul Transference.

If that problem was really solved, Douglas would probably go back to his old ways and try to kill him again.

As Johnnie was replying to Douglas, he suddenly felt soone’s eyes watching him silently.

He looked down quickly and saw his shadow move slightly.

It’s not a mistake!

Johnnie took a deep breath and made an agreent with Douglas about when to enter the secret realm tomorrow. He was already eager to finish the advanced quest of the Mage of the Five Elents.

As for Clens, Johnnie didn’t have any idea what to do right now. He could only wait for news about Terra Lady.
