He didn’t expect that not only was Johnnie a Heaven’s Chosen, but even Johnnie’s woman was one too.
Caron wanted to ask more, but just then, the turtle shell in Aiden’s hands suddenly exploded, sending pieces flying everywhere.
It was a Way of Heaven backlash!
Aiden’s face turned pale. First, a thread of black blood ca out of his mouth, then black blood ca out of his nose, eyes, and ears.
Without hesitation, Aiden sat cross-legged, put the Regeneration Leaf in his mouth, and closed his eyes.
Soon, a colorful light ca from his body, and his injuries started to heal.
Caron narrowed his eyes, watching Aiden with no guard up.
A look of hesitation flashed across Caron’s face, then he turned around and said."I’ll watch over you."
Aiden’s eyelids twitched slightly.
After about half an hour, Aiden finally opened his eyes completely. His body was back to normal.
