"You despicable human, die!" the Sli leader roared in anger, its huge body leaping high into the air before slamming down hard.
Johnnie frowned. If he died, he would fail the tribulation, and the thunderclouds would disappear.
Buzz!
Space rippled as Johnnie used his teleport skill again, blinking a hundred ters away.
The heavenly tribulation had already torn apart the Sli leader’s Domain, so the space suppression was gone too.
Whoosh!
Just as Johnnie appeared, a fiery serpent shot toward him.
At the sa ti, another bolt of tribulation lightning began to form overhead.

Johnnie crawled out from under it, looked at the badly wounded Sli leader, and said with disdain, "What’s wrong? You can’t even handle two bolts of heavenly tribulation?"
"You despicable human, I’ll tear you to pieces!"
The Sli leader cursed furiously. It had beco divine with divine essence, so it had never experienced a heavenly tribulation before. Plus, as a Sli monster, its body was never that tough to begin with. There was no way it could stand up to such attacks.

Thunder rolled as the thick tribulation clouds churned, and yet another bolt of lightning ford.
"Damn it!" The Sli leader was truly scared now. It didn’t even try to attack Johnnie, just turned and tried to run.
"Don’t even think about escaping!"
Johnnie wasn’t about to let it go. He chased right after it, and with his teleport skill, the Sli leader couldn’t shake him off at all.
This heavenly tribulation was really special. Even when Johnnie used his teleport skill, he still felt like he was being locked onto.
He even had a feeling that, even if he entered the Map of Heaven and Earth, he wouldn’t be able to escape from the heavenly tribulation.
But Johnnie didn’t really care. He wasn’t planning on becoming a god anyway. Once he killed the Sli leader, the heavenly tribulation would hit him too and finish him off. If he died, he’d fail the tribulation and wouldn’t ascend.
Crack!
The world shook as a thick bolt of lightning ca crashing down, hitting both the Sli leader and Johnnie.

This ti, the damage Johnnie took was even worse. It felt like his soul was being torn apart, and then everything went black.

The system prompt flashed. Even with the Sli leader taking most of the hit, Johnnie was still instantly killed by the third bolt of heavenly lightning.
But the Sli leader was in terrible shape too, having taken three bolts straight on.
Now it collapsed on the ground, covered in hideous wounds, thick blood oozing everywhere, barely hanging on to life.
Johnnie revived at the spot, but he had taken a huge hit—his soul and mind were injured, and his head throbbed with pain.
"Huh? My bloodlines are fusing!" he gasped. The seals set by Skye and the White Spirit Tiger were still there, but now a bit of the Witch Clan and Demon Clan bloodlines had rged.
It was just a tiny bit, but there were no side effects.
He looked surprised—the heavenly tribulation had actually helped him fuse his Lich bloodline!
But the fusion was too little. To fully rge the bloodlines, he’d probably need thousands of tribulation bolts like this, and there’s no way he could survive that.
Still, at least it was a possible way forward.
Johnnie didn’t dwell on it. He looked at the dying Sli leader and said calmly, "Let send you off."
With that, the Seven Sword flashed as he attacked the Sli leader like crazy.

Even so, Johnnie could only do around 900,000 damage per hit.
The Sli leader was badly hurt, but still not easy for him to finish off.
But his trump card was the Seven Sword’s instant kill effect.

The only downside was that he needed three fragnts to form the Elental Heart.
He still needed two more. Maybe the other Sli leaders would drop them.
Johnnie carefully put away the Elental Heart fragnt, then looked at the next item.

This was even more valuable than the National Founding Decree.
With a monster nest, he could get an endless supply of monsters.
In his last life, he’d only heard of these things, but never actually seen one. They were always controlled by the big factions, and even then, the nests were usually low level.
Even so, people fought over them like crazy.
The best part was that this was a Sli nest. When Slis die, they drop sli and Magic Cores. If he could also get the treasure that the Mountain Hunter uses to refine sli and Magic Cores, he could get an endless supply of Spirit Stones.

With the Void Sword’s Soul Devouring effect, killing undead monsters could strengthen his soul and heal these kinds of wounds fast.
Seeing that Atlas and the others had recovered, Johnnie asked, "Elder Yett, can you guys not log out?"

They appeared in the forest.
The Sli leader’s corpse was already gone, replaced by lots of weaker Slis, most of them around stage 7 or 8.
Did these weak Slis eat the Sli leader’s body?
Johnnie was confused—a Domain-level corpse shouldn’t disappear this fast.
He didn’t bother thinking about it too much. With a thought, he activated Myriad Sword Technique and started slaughtering the weak Slis.
For his Mage of the Five Elents class advancent quest, he only needed to kill five-elent demonic creatures.
He checked his quest progress. As long as he killed a little over three million more stage 6 five-star elental demonic creatures, his Mage of the Five Elents class would reach stage 6.
