His mission to save the Haldrem Empire’s Princess Lisa was still ongoing, which ant she had not yet awakened.
The soldier stopped, staring at him coldly. He said in an unfriendly tone: "You know Princess Lisa? Who the hell are you?"
Johnnie said: "I told you I’m here to save your princess. Do you believe ?"
"Hmph. No matter what you say today, you’re going to die. Move on." He clearly didn’t believe him, thinking Johnnie was just stalling for ti.
He escorted the two of them and quickened his pace, heading toward the back mountains outside Azurecloud City.

"The Elder Tree, this is the soul you’re being offered as a sacrifice. Please enjoy it!" He stepped back, speaking respectfully.
Johnnie and Flaa both looked serious, watching the withered tree with caution.

Suddenly, a thick grey vine ca whistling toward them, wrapping around them.
Flaa was shocked and scread. She was still trapped in the net, unable to break free. She shouted: "Johnnie, what are you going to do? If you get devoured by the ancient tree, we’re both dead for sure!"
Johnnie no longer pretended. He gave a slight shake, and the net loosened. Then, his Demon Wings ford behind him, and he shot upward, moving fast enough to avoid the vine’s grasp.
"You weren’t even bound?" The soldier’s face changed slightly, then he quickly regained his confidence and said coldly: "Even if you broke free from the net, what can you do against The Elder Tree? You’re still going to die for sure!"
Johnnie sneered and didn’t rush to use Canvas of Illusions. He just thought to himself, and the Seven Sword flew out. He used The Technique of Swordsmanship for Controlling Swords and stabbed at the ancient tree.

Johnnie was surprised. This was 1% true damage from Dark Law.
That ant the ancient tree’s defense was far beyond his attack, and it even had divine protection.

It was clear that the ancient tree was angry.

The Undead Tree trembled violently, roaring loudly, as if filled with fear. It fought with all its might to resist, but it was of no use at all.
At the mont the massive branches touched the vortex, the entire tree was instantly swallowed into it.
The ground ford a massive crater, covering thousands of ters, deep and bottomless.
This was the massive root system of the ancient tree.
Johnnie was stunned, but he didn’t pay attention. He thought to himself and entered Canvas of Illusions.

"Where is The Elder Tree? You dirty human, what did you do to The Elder Tree?" A chorus of curses ca from the surrounding soldiers.
Flaa finally noticed the deep pit before her. The Undead Tree was gone, and her expression grew even more shocked.
Johnnie didn’t want to waste words. He said, "Don’t forget our deal. I’ll find the Saintly Lady for you, and you’ll take to the Sacred Beast ruins."
He spoke, and imdiately summoned Seven Sword and Dragon Patterned Sword. He activated The Technique of Swordsmanship for Controlling Swords, and the flying swords flashed, slashing wildly at the soldiers who were rushing toward them.
Flaa quickly caught on and used Fire-Control, charging into the soldiers as well.
She was a Stage 6 rare boss at the peak, and these common soldiers were nothing to her.
But compared to Johnnie, she was still far behind.
"Evil human! We are followers of Pluto. You’re slaughtering us like this, Pluto will never forgive you," the soldiers scread in fear, cursing wildly.
"Pluto?" Johnnie sneered. The Universe Continent had a powerful suppression force that prevented gods from descending.
Even if a god could co down, he wasn’t afraid. He had Maiev at his side.
Johnnie activated Great Transformation Sword Technique, and with a ruthless massacre, he pushed forward toward Azurecloud City.
No one could stop him. Wherever he went, there was only a trail of corpses, and the ground was stained red with blood.

Johnnie couldn’t dodge, and he was completely wrapped in it. But he showed no fear.
"Maiev!" he called out in his mind.

A surge of divine power erupted, instantly destroying the net.
Maiev couldn’t descend, but she could still use so of her divine power through Johnnie’s body.
And Johnnie’s attributes were strong enough to withstand that amount of divine force.
The net was destroyed, and he had no more worries behind him. He landed on the city wall and began a brutal massacre.
"Damn it, who the hell are you?"
On the wall, screams echoed. The passive damage and increased attack speed from Great Transformation Sword Technique made these soldiers easy targets.
Soon, the soldiers on the wall were wiped out, and not a single strong opponent appeared.
Johnnie directly charged into the city, and began slaughtering the civilians inside.
These people were all followers of Pluto, and he had no trace of guilt when he killed them.
"Demons! This guy is a demon!"
"Help! Where are the soldiers? Stop this guy!"
The city echoed with screams, and the civilians ran in panic, not daring to fight back.
At that mont, the city gate was destroyed, and Flaa rushed in without hesitation, joining the battle and slaughtering the fleeing civilians.
They were all followers of Pluto. If they were part of the ga fusion, they would be the vanguard forces invading Earth. They had it coming.
"Human, stop!" A mighty voice roared, and a powerful aura swept through the city.
