The collision between Luca and the sky-devouring behemoth triggered a violent explosion. The trendous blast and dazzling light drew everyone's attention. The people who had been fleeing in panic just monts ago stopped in their tracks.

Under the gaze of all, Luca erged directly from the smoke of the explosion. His expression was slightly grim.

In the recent attack, he had aid for the sky-devouring behemoth's weak points as best as he could. Moreover, during the attack, he had also used the imnse power stored in the Origin Holy Grail.

According to his initial estimation, this attack should have caused considerable damage to the sky-devouring behemoth. However, the final result was that the attack hadn't even left a scratch on the behemoth.

He knew all too well that the sky-devouring behemoth's counterattack was about to co.

From the clouds ford by the explosion, countless purple beams of light suddenly appeared and rapidly shot toward Luca's direction.

Luca, of course, would not directly take the sky-devouring behemoth's attack head-on. He swiftly chose to dodge the purple light and fled toward the outskirts of the Imperial Capital.

He had to lure the sky-devouring behemoth to the outskirts of the Imperial Capital. Only then could he fully utilize the power of the Origin Holy Grail and the remains of the Ancient Gods.

If the battle took place in the heart of the Imperial Capital, he wouldn't be able to exert his full power. After all, during the battle, he also needed to ensure that the core of the Imperial Capital wasn't destroyed.

The sky-devouring behemoth chose to chase after Luca.

With the departure of both the sky-devouring behemoth and Luca, everyone in the core area of the Imperial Capital breathed a sigh of relief. Drumph and the mbers of Morning Star could finally rest for a while.

The others, who had been fleeing just monts ago, now returned to their positions along the defense line.

"After the greatest threat has left, you all decide to co back. What's the point of your return now? All the monsters have retreated! There will be no battle here in the short term!" Drumph said with a harsh tone.

He was extrely furious now. After casting a contemptuous glance at the returning crowd, he turned and led his trusted subordinates back to the Morning Star headquarters.

Since the battle at the Imperial Capital's core defense line had already ended, there was no reason to stay there any longer.

Drumph's purpose in returning to the Morning Star headquarters was to offer so help to Luca.

The others did not show any anger at Drumph's mockery, as they knew that what he said was indeed true. They had only returned to the front lines because the sky-devouring behemoth had left.

Among the group, so felt a bit guilty, but the majority felt no remorse. In their view, ensuring their own safety was the most important thing, and everything else ca second.

In reality, they hadn't assessed the situation very accurately. Although the monsters had temporarily withdrawn, they hadn't gone too far. They could launch another attack on the Imperial Capital's core defense line at any ti.

When that happened, these cowards who had just returned would have no chance to escape.

At that mont, Luca was swiftly navigating through the ruined streets of the Imperial Capital.

He was unaware of what had transpired at the core defense line, but even if he had known, he wouldn't have been too concerned. He had never expected much from those people anyway.

As he moved forward, monsters continued to jump out from the shadows.

These monsters seed to be under the control of the sky-devouring behemoth, and their purpose was to block Luca's path.

Not far behind Luca, the enormous sky-devouring behemoth, moving at an unexpectedly fast speed for its size, relentlessly pursued him.

The distance between them rapidly shrank.

When Luca finally reached the outskirts of the Imperial Capital, the sky-devouring behemoth caught up to him.

"Do you think I'm running away from you out of fear?" Luca stopped and smiled as he looked at the sky-devouring behemoth.

His plan had finally succeeded.

What he had to do next was release the powerful primal power contained within the Origin Holy Grail.

As soon as he finished speaking, he activated the Origin Holy Grail.

The primal power within the Origin Holy Grail surged out explosively.

The powerful primal power completely obliterated the weaker monsters around Luca.

The sky-devouring behemoth, not far away, was also affected to so extent.

The purple smoke surrounding its body began to dissipate rapidly.

It appeared to have been severely weakened. This seed like a perfect opportunity for Luca to strike.

However, Luca did not take any action.

He knew that the sky-devouring behemoth could not be so easily weakened.

As Luca had anticipated, the purple smoke surrounding the sky-devouring behemoth began to dissipate at a rapidly slowing rate. The behemoth let out a terrifying howl.

With that howl, a purple light began to radiate from its entire body. The imnse chaotic energy spread rapidly outward, centered around its form.

The collision of this chaotic energy with primal power, equally potent, was intense. Everything around them was greatly affected, and Luca could feel the space he was in becoming extrely unstable.

To ensure his safety, he imdiately used the Dreamweaver's skill to envelop himself in Dreamweaving Mist.

"The sky-devouring behemoth can't keep releasing such powerful chaotic energy forever. Once the strength of its chaotic energy decreases, I'll activate the Ancient Gods' remains. At that point, the mighty primal power will completely destroy the sky-devouring behemoth!" Luca quickly laid out his plan.

He was speaking directly to Sophia.

He hoped that Sophia would prepare herself well, because the upcoming clash between chaotic energy and primal power would be intense, and its consequences were sothing Luca couldn't predict.

"I'll be ready! I can ensure my safety; you just need to carry on with your plan," Sophia replied quickly.

She was, of course, unwilling to be a hindrance to Luca. She would do everything she could to keep herself safe, ensuring Luca wouldn't be distracted.

However, after saying this, her voice beca slightly worried as she added, "The surrounding space is just too unstable. Are you really sure the collision of these two forces won't completely destroy the space of the real world?"

In response to Sophia's inquiry, Luca could only give a helpless answer, "There's no ti to think about that now. It's too late for any other considerations."

During their conversation, the chaotic energy released by the sky-devouring behemoth gradually began to weaken. While the sky-devouring behemoth could directly draw chaotic energy from the chaotic sea, the speed at which it absorbed this power was still limited.

Luca seized the opportunity and opened the Prison of the Gods.

The Ancient Gods' remains almost imdiately revived. The will of the Ancient Gods returned from the void, and their voice reached both Luca's and Sophia's minds.

"I have returned once again! I told you before, as a higher life form, I will never be completely destroyed by you lower beings!"

With the voice of the Ancient Gods, primal power continued to surge. The chaotic energy was being suppressed.

The massive form of the sky-devouring behemoth began to fade, and the strength of the monsters in the horde began to rapidly decline.

Everything seed to be progressing just as Luca had predicted.

"You haven't returned at all. I've rely used the primal power you possess! Now that my plan has succeeded, I'll imprison you in the Prison of the Gods once more."

Since the plan had succeeded, Luca had no intention of taking further risks. He activated the Prison of the Gods and locked the remains of the Ancient Gods back inside.

Just then, the murmurs of the Ancient Gods struck suddenly.

Luca and Sophia's consciousnesses were shattered in an instant by the murmurs.

"You are so naive. You actually thought you could use my power to eliminate an enemy you cannot even contend with!"

The remains of the Ancient Gods suddenly erupted with an overwhelming force. This imnse power made it impossible for the Prison of the Gods to close.

When Luca's consciousness returned, he heard the mocking words of the Ancient Gods.

"Using my power cos at a price! The price you must pay is that you cannot stop my revival!"

The remains of the Ancient Gods began to rapidly regain their full form. The powerful primal power made the Ancient Gods truly co to life.

Seeing this, Luca realized that he had to take extraordinary asures.

He imdiately withdrew the Origin Holy Grail.

"No matter what, I will not allow you to revive in the real world!" Luca said coldly to the Ancient Gods.

He then aid the Origin Holy Grail at the reviving Ancient Gods.

"The space here is extrely unstable. If you dare to attack , the powerful primal power will completely destroy the surrounding space. The world you are in could even collapse entirely due to your actions."

The Ancient Gods realized what Luca was about to do.

It also knew that Luca's actions had the potential to succeed.

Therefore, it began to threaten Luca.

In the face of the Ancient Gods' threat, Luca was resolute. He wasn't swayed in the slightest by the words. In fact, he grew even more determined because of them.

Without hesitation, he activated the Origin Holy Grail.

All the remaining power in the Origin Holy Grail surged toward the reviving Ancient Gods.

The Ancient Gods, of course, did not sit idly by. It also used up all of its remaining primal power.

The collision of these two forces directly caused the surrounding space to completely collapse.

The area affected by the collapse wasn't large, only about one block in size.

However, the consequences of the space collapse were extrely severe.

The sky-devouring behemoth was severely injured, and both Luca and the Ancient Gods suffered, leaving all three sides needing ti to recover.

Even more terrifying was that the area of the space collapse had connected the real world to the Eternal World.

The reconnection of the two worlds was sure to trigger a series of unknown and serious consequences.
