The battle between Zenobia and Luca was ferocious.

From the very beginning, both of them unleashed their most formidable powers.

The chaotic force that Zenobia wielded clashed violently with the radiant light that Luca commanded.

As they fought, the isolated pocket dinsion—carved out by the chaotic energy—began to crumble. Eventually, it collapsed entirely, and the core district of Lakeside City was thrust back into the real world.

This sudden upheaval triggered a massive earthquake in the real world.

The other districts of Lakeside City were completely destroyed in the tremors.

At the sa ti, the earthquake was detected by every other major faction.

They were all stunned.

Each side scrambled to understand what had just happened in Lakeside City.

Despite their best efforts, uncovering the full truth would take ti—especially considering that the Morning Star had completely sealed off the city by now.

With the core of Lakeside City returning to reality, Zenobia’s power plumted back to its natural level.

She could no longer draw upon the overwhelming might of the chaotic realm.

Now, she had only one option left—her Hive Nest.

"You really think this is going to stop ?" Zenobia roared, her voice brimming with fury. "You think your little alliance with those human insects is enough to corner ?"

"Impossible! Even without the aid of the pocket world, I can reduce you to ash with the power of my Hive Nest!"

No sooner had her words left her mouth than a chilling sound echoed from deep underground.

A swarm of low-tier monsters erupted from beneath the earth.

Seconds later, a colossal, hive-like structure burst through the ground, pulsing with a haunting violet glow.

This was the Hive Nest.

Zenobia, now a manifestation of pure chaotic energy, fused herself with the monstrous structure.

"No matter what happens today, you’re not escaping !"

Controlling the Hive Nest, Zenobia unleashed a flood of high-tier monsters.

At the sa ti, a torrent of chaotic spells and devastating curses ca pouring down.

Luca stepped directly in front of Donlow, shielding him.

The full force of the curses slamd into Luca’s body.

"Run!" he shouted.

Luca spoke with great difficulty.

At this point, that single word was all he could manage.

Donlow hesitated—clearly torn—but only for a mont. Then, she made her decision and acted according to Luca’s command.

She wasn’t an ordinary person. She was a mber of Morning Star.

Though she deeply relied on Luca and had hoped to fight by his side until the bitter end, she understood just how dire the situation had beco. Staying now would only weigh him down.

Shortly after Donlow’s retreat, Zenobia’s mocking voice echoed through the battlefield.

"Your ally has abandoned you! Now you’re left to face alone. Without her help, you don’t stand a chance!"

Hearing her words, a cold smirk suddenly crept across Luca’s face.

"You really are full of yourself, aren’t you? I told her to leave because her presence would’ve only distracted . Since you’ve decided to fight at full power, I’ll no longer hold anything back either."

As he spoke, a radiant green light began to emanate from Luca’s body.

The blessing bestowed upon him by the Goddess of Life was finally taking effect.

A surge of powerful life force flowed into his body. Though this energy belonged to the chaotic domain, it was fundantally different from the type of chaos energy Zenobia wielded.

Now, the two opposing chaos forces clashed violently against each other.

At the sa ti, a streak of green light appeared in the sky above.

The Goddess of Life had turned her gaze toward this battlefield.

Although she remained in the Eternal Continent, a deity’s gaze could, under certain circumstances, pierce through the boundaries of different worlds.

The blessing within Luca served as a conduit—a bridge that allowed that divine gaze to descend.

"This is impossible! Why would She grant you Her blessing?!" Zenobia cried out in disbelief. "Even if She and I aren’t on good terms, we are both chaos deities!"

She lifted her head toward the green glow in the sky, her voice rising in fury.

"Have you gone mad?! Why would you help such a lowly creature as a human?! I am your kin! We exist on the sa plane of life!"

But her roar had no effect.

The green light in the sky neither faded nor intensified.

The Goddess of Life simply ignored Zenobia completely.

This only made Zenobia even more enraged.

She decided to completely shatter the Hive Nest—absorbing all of its chaotic energy into herself.

With a thunderous roar, the colossal Hive Nest suddenly collapsed.

All the chaotic monsters were instantly frozen in place.

The entire surge of chaotic power rushed back toward Zenobia. This ti, she finally reclaid her divine rank.

"Hahaha! I’m a god once more! No re mortal can ever hope to defeat a god! Luca, you’re dood to lose this battle!"

Zenobia’s hysterical laughter echoed through the devastated land.

Throughout all of this, Luca rely watched her coldly, saying nothing.

Wave after wave of powerful chaotic energy struck out at him.

Yet none of it managed to inflict any fatal damage.

On the contrary, the longer it went on, the stronger and more composed Luca seed to beco.

A flicker of confusion appeared on Zenobia’s face.

"What’s happening?! Isn’t this chaotic power strong enough?!"

"It is more than strong enough," Luca replied calmly, lifting his gaze with a faint smile. "And I’m going to use that very strength to destroy you completely."

"That’s impossible! You’ll never pull it off! You’ll rip your soul apart if you try to control it!" Zenobia cried out, a tinge of panic finally creeping into her voice.

"You’re right," Luca said softly, a serene smile settling on his face. "But so things matter more than life. I’m prepared to pay that price."

"You’re utterly insane!" Zenobia snapped, though her voice was already trembling with fear. "I won’t let you succeed! A mortal body like yours can’t possibly survive the surge of chaotic force!"

"Then let’s find out," Luca said, his eyes steady. "The Goddess of Life’s blessing gave the ability to wield chaos."

He looked down at the glowing mark of the Chaos Goddess on his hand, the symbol pulsing with strange, otherworldly light.

The chaotic forces still surged wildly between them like a flood—but now, gradually, they began to gather around Luca, adhering to him, responding to his will.

"It’s ti for you to die—for good this ti," Luca said, his voice low and cold. "The regret Sophia and I carried from failing to destroy you in the Eternal Continent—ends here."

Having seized control over a trendous amount of chaotic energy, Luca narrowed his eyes at Zenobia.

A blast of chaos, no longer re energy but now condensed into a weapon of divine force, shot toward Zenobia with incredible speed.

This ti, Zenobia did not choose to endure the attack head-on.

She realized that this strike was truly lethal.

So, in the end, she chose to flee.

However, her escape was not faster than the oncoming blow.

The chaos-forged weapon—condensed into tangible form—struck her directly.

A piercing, agonized scream tore through the air.

Zenobia was gravely wounded.

Wracked with excruciating pain, she was forced to make a difficult decision.

By sacrificing a significant portion of her power, she managed to let a sliver of her soul escape.

Luca did not pursue her further. His own condition was far from stable.

The imnse chaotic force had left his soul fractured and on the verge of collapse.

He needed to center himself—quickly—to recover and stabilize his being.

...

anwhile, Zovland and Drumph had finally regrouped.

The mbers of Morning Star chose to move as a single unit.

Though the chaotic energy had significantly weakened, the remnants that lingered still posed an overwhelming threat.

After advancing for a while, a thunderous explosion rang out. The ground beneath their feet trembled violently—so areas even crumbled outright.

"What the hell is going on?" Zovland asked in a panic.

Evelyn looked equally alard. She had no answer to give.

Fuzzsir leaned close and whispered to Drumph, "We’re back in the real world now."

Drumph raised his eyebrows slightly.

"You an to say the pocket dinsion has completely collapsed? We’ve returned to the actual world?"

"That’s the most likely scenario," Fuzzsir replied cautiously.

"In that case, maybe we don’t need to be so careful anymore. I suggest we split up—if we cover more ground, we’ll find who we’re looking for faster."

Zovland quickly offered his suggestion.

Of course, he wasn’t truly concerned about Luca or Donlow’s safety. He just wanted the team to split up so he could search for treasures or useful clues without interference.

After a mont’s consideration, Drumph gave a nod of agreent.

And just like that, the mbers of Morning Star went their separate ways.

Drumph and the others soon ca across soone they knew—Nova, who had been hiding in the shadows of a nearby corner.

Nova wasn’t in great shape, but she had managed to avoid the most intense battles.

That ant she was still capable of communicating with Drumph and the rest of the team.

"Donlow and Luca fled in that direction," she said, pointing. "If you follow this path, you’ll reach them quickly. But you need to hurry—Zenobia’s power is overwhelming."

Because Nova had stayed clear of the fiercest clashes, her understanding of the overall situation was sowhat limited. Still, the information she offered was useful.

Drumph assigned two of his people to stay behind and assist Nova, then quickly led Fuzzsir and his most trusted subordinates in the direction she had indicated.

Just a few minutes later, Drumph and his team ran into Donlow.
