Chapter 11: Abnormal Level 1 Attributes

Character: [Lone Ranger]

Level: lv1

Class: Elental Archer

Talents: Hundredfold Rewards, Elental Arrow, Heart of the Elents.

Aptitude: 13 stars

HP: 2010

MP: 980

Attack: 329

Defense: 42

Attributes: Strength 89, Constitution 28, Agility 118, Spirit 48.

Free Attribute Points: 0

Experience: 0/1000 (Divine class requires ten tis the experience)

This was Jiang Chen’s stat panel after assigning all his attribute points.

The character’s four basic stats were terrifying to the extre, totaling a whopping 283 points. Tell —who else at level 1 could have such dazzling stats?!

The 100 free attribute points from [Divine Spring] were distributed by Jiang Chen as follows: 50 points to Agility, 30 to Strength, and 20 to Spirit.

Agility and Strength needed no explanation—they were his primary attributes. As for the 20 points in Spirit, it was entirely because the Elental Archer class tended to consu a lot of mana.

Elental Arrow consud 1 MP per shot, and Elental Heart? Even more—it took 3 MP per shot.

So investing in Spirit was necessary.

As for the other 13 free attribute points gained at level 1, Jiang Chen followed his consistent approach: 10 to Agility, 3 to Strength.

This ensured high agility without sacrificing attack power.

The rest of the stats all ca from the Wind Spirit set. The reason Jiang Chen could have 2000 HP at level 1 was largely thanks to this high-level gear.

He couldn’t take the gear off—once removed, it would be hard to equip it again, at least until his level caught up.

Additionally, Divine classes required ten tis the experience—this was sothing Jiang Chen hadn’t expected. Don’t underestimate this tenfold experience requirent—the higher the level, the more terrifying it becos.

However, no matter how you looked at it, it was still worth it.

The power a Divine class brought was far more than ten tis stronger. That tenfold experience cost was totally acceptable.

“Holy crap, the village chief just de-aged?!”

“Didn’t expect the village chief to be this handso when he was young.”

“With such a huge change in the village chief, maybe there’s a hidden quest! Hurry up and talk to him.”

“Hold up, I was here first… Uncle Village Chief, do you need any help?”

“Big Brother Village Chief, here are 50 copper coins. May they witness the beginning of our friendship.”

A large group of players sward around the village chief.

However, the village chief had no quest to give out—Jiang Chen had already left ahead of ti.

He detoured to the apothecary to replenish his mana potions.

“Boss lady, got any better potions?” Jiang Chen called out.

The female rchant glanced at him. Seeing that he was only level 1, she casually said, “Adventurer, the lv1 mana potion is already sufficient for soone like you.”

“Cut the crap—I want high-grade potions. Money’s not an issue.” Jiang Chen didn’t bother arguing. He directly pulled out a pouch and tossed it onto the counter—it was filled with shining silver coins.

The nearby players, who were still haggling with the boss lady, froze with envy. So of them were so stunned, they even drooled.

The shopkeeper, seeing so much money, imdiately perked up with glee. “Yes, yes! We do have better ones. Let get them for you.”

[Mana Recovery Potion] lv2: Restores 200 MP, cooldown: 60 seconds. Price: 50 copper per bottle.

As expected, expensive—lv1 potions were only 10 copper, but lv2 jumped fourfold. Pure profit…

Jiang Chen bought 10 stacks at once, totaling 500 bottles, costing 2.5 gold coins.

There were no more quests available in the novice village, so Jiang Chen headed out to grind levels.

Ten tis the required experience was no joke—he’d have to kill an absurd number of monsters.

As for the equipnt in Jiang Chen’s inventory, it was all bronze gear, with one or two silver pieces. He hadn’t decided to sell them yet—he himself was still a patchwork of bronze, silver, and gold, so no rush.

Everything was deposited with the storage NPC.

Heading north out of the novice village, the monsters at Waterfall Cliff were currently the highest level around.

However, before he even reached Wild Dog Mountain, soone called out to him.

“Hey, you—yeah, you, the level 1 kid.”

“You got no sense of self-awareness or what?”

A level 4 player called out to Jiang Chen, carrying a massive blade on his back. Judging from his fierce look, he clearly wasn’t a nice guy.

However, Jiang Chen wasn’t so bloodthirsty killer. He wasn’t the type to attack soone just because he looked annoying. He held still, curious to see what this guy wanted.

“Kid, you’re heading that way at level 1? Total newbie, huh?”

The burly man walked up to Jiang Chen and said with a grin, “That’s Wild Dog Mountain. With your scrawny little fra, you’ll get torn apart in two bites. Want to team up? I’ll help you level up. We’ll split the XP 80-20, and gear goes by class—if no one can use it, we roll for it. Sound good?”

Out in the wild, players could form teams and set their own XP distribution. A level 4 bringing a level 1 at an 80-20 split was actually pretty reasonable. Distributing gear by class and rolling otherwise was also the fairest way.

Roll referred to a loot distribution thod where players rolled dice—the higher number got priority.

All in all, this burly guy seed to be a good guy.

But Jiang Chen wasn’t your average level 1. No one in this world was qualified to carry him.

“Still thinking, kid? If you didn’t look like my little brother, I wouldn’t even bother saving your sorry hide from Wild Dog Mountain. Co on, join the party—we’re heading out.” The big guy urged him while sending a party invite.

Heh, interesting…

Jiang Chen smirked and summoned his Wind Spirit Longbow, drawing the string.

The big guy’s face went dark. He thought this guy wasn’t just a newbie—he was a complete gaming idiot.

Picked archer as a class and forgot to bring arrows? Great, now I have to carry dead weight.

Just as that thought crossed his mind, sothing unexpected happened. Jiang Chen’s longbow suddenly manifested a glowing white arrow of energy.

“Holy shit! Since when did archers get this fancy?!”

The big guy was stunned. He had never seen an archer generate arrows like that—let alone glowing arrows.

“Whoosh!”

The arrow shot out, streaking across the air like a silver thread, and struck a wild chicken in the distance.

“Cluck cluck cluck.”

The chicken dropped instantly, and a massive damage number floated above its head.

-355!

Players nearby who noticed what had happened gawked, eyes bulging out of their sockets.

They looked at the damage number on the chicken’s head like they’d just seen a ghost.

One shot—355 damage?!

Everyone was frozen on the spot.

The big guy was the most dumbfounded.

What the hell kind of damage is that?!

He was a level 4 warrior, and even with full offensive stats, his attack was only 60. But this level 1 archer just dealt 355 damage?

Am I dreaming, or I haven’t woken up yet…?
