The intimidating fireball surged forth at a ferocious pace, heading straight for the frail fra of Su Ran.

No sooner had he finished speaking than his expression changed, and, leaping up from the ground, he exclaid in shock, “Damn it, I was caught in the illusion too!”

He scrambled to his feet, climbed atop Wang Cai, and faced the Fire Spirit nearby, as if facing a formidable enemy.
As for the scene of the avatar protecting its master, that was purely coincidental.

She noticed that the two had escaped the illusion, realizing that the tide had turned, she ceased her attack.
“Ling Wei, why are you so ruthless?
We were already planning to take a detour, yet you’re still clinging on relentlessly.

Banana dusted off the dust in disarray and glared at the Fire Spirit, now possessed by flas, “Step aside at once, or I’ll not be polite!”
“Oh, how your temper has grown after a few days, hasn’t it?”
Ling Wei was unfazed by Banana’s threat, the chill in her eyes growing denser as she sternly said, “Elf Archer, Banana!
You have violated the Elf clan’s edicts, and you must be executed!”
One must admit, the Fire Spirit with a stern face did look the part; she was definitely cut out for a position of authority.
“Ah, co on, what a serious accusation!
You say I’m guilty just like that?
I might as well say you’ve got hemorrhoids and need to be cut!”
Banana burst into laughter from sheer exasperation, not sparing the woman any dignity and shooting back without reservation.

What’s the fun if everything is controlled by rules and regulations?!
Su Ran looked at Banana with so astonishnt, noticing that this guy could be quite tough when he wanted to be.

Upon hearing that familiar hoarse voice, Ling Wei’s body shuddered violently, and she turned her head around as quick as lightning, her eyes firmly fixed on Su Ran, her expression turning very ugly.
“Ling Wei, long ti no see.

Now that I’ve seen you again, I can rest easy.”
Seeing that Ling Wei had recognized him, Su Ran sighed and frankly opened up to the Fire Spirit.

You’re nothing but a clown, a laughingstock!”
“Lecherous skeleton?”
Banana was completely flabbergasted.
He hadn’t expected Su Ran to have such a penchant for harassing NPCs and asked in shock, “Overturning Water, you don’t even have the stuff for peeing, yet you have the audacity to lay hands on a woman?”
