975: Chapter 895: Ambushed 975: Chapter 895: Ambushed “Elf brother, why have you suddenly started calling ‘Lord ssenger’?”

Su Ran wondered in his heart.

He had just made a casual remark, without expecting the elf to actually believe it…

Good grief, isn’t this kid a bit too gullible?

If I had known this, why bother doing anything?

I could’ve just bluffed my way through!

“Respected Lord ssenger, you may call Terica.”

Seeing that Su Ran still referred to him as ‘brother,’ the elf’s face flushed red as he hurriedly explained, “A long, long ti ago, an elven prophecy ntioned that a skeleton ssenger from the Demon World would co to lead the elves out of hardship, and you, you are our elves’ ssenger, our only hope!”

So that was it.

Hey, what a coincidence!

I hit the jackpot by sheer luck!

In that case, the title ‘Lord ssenger’ really does fit the bill.

“So, um, little Teri, you’re a Summoner by profession, right?”

Su Ran was naturally familiar with others, especially when dealing with NPCs, and he had his own insights—hence, he even started addressing Terica casually.

“Summoner?

You could say that.

I am a Druid, able to summon creatures and transform appearances.”

Facing Lord ssenger’s question, the elf Terica was an open book, sharing all about his profession and abilities with Su Ran, clearly already regarding him as one of their own.

“The profession of a Druid is indeed quite formidable.”

Looking thoughtful, Su Ran continued to ask Terica, “Does your profession usually summon in pairs or groups?”

He noticed that the pets Terica had summoned earlier ca in twos or threes.

Su Ran was quite envious—if only his own pets could do that, it would be so stylish!

“Lord ssenger, you misunderstand.

It’s just a fortunate coincidence that I acquired a passive skill called ‘Summoning Enhancent,’ which allows to summon an extra Summoned Beast, although its strength will be reduced to 80%.

It’s quite useful.”

Terica spoke truthfully, without any concealnt, his eyes brimming with utter sincerity.

“Summoning Enhancent?”

Su Ran’s eyes lit up, and he repeated the term seriously several tis, firmly committing this divine technique of the Summoner to mory.

“Little Teri, I forgot to ask you earlier, why do you have such disdain for humans?”

This question had been burning in Su Ran’s chest for so ti, igniting a blazing fire of gossip.

He wanted to uncover all the secrets of the elves, which would also be greatly helpful for his storyline quest and, most importantly, would satisfy his curiosity.

“Lord ssenger, to be completely frank, nearly everything that has befallen our elf race is due to the treacherous nature of humans!”

Without bringing it up, things were fine, but upon ntioning humans, Terica’s anger flared up once more.

His fists clenched tightly as he said bitterly, “It’s all because humans continuously deceive and promise great rewards that the Dark Elves betrayed our race, daring to venture into forbidden zones and releasing the cursed Ghost Clan!”

“The sinister and despicable humans!

Our elf race will never coexist under the sa sky with them!”

Well, have humans’ reputation degraded to this extent?

Su Ran felt slightly embarrassed; it seems being reincarnated as an Undead skeleton wasn’t exactly sothing to be proud of…

“Ahem, well, let’s not talk about these upsetting matters anymore.

Can you take to the Elf Palace, so I can fulfill the ssenger’s task sooner?

It’d also be nice to have soone to rely on along the way.”

Once Terica had gradually cald down, Su Ran seized the opportunity to make his move.

Having him as a guide would save both ti and effort—why not?

“Leave this place?”

Terica’s face showed fear as he shook his head repeatedly, “No, I am cursed, I will die if I leave this place!

The Elf Palace is due south.

Just head straight south from here.”

“That scary?”

Su Ran was montarily stunned upon hearing this and couldn’t help but mock in her mind, just how many kinds of the Power of Curse existed in this Elf Forest, what weird and bizarre curses there were, poor elves, truly suffering a lot!

Without speaking much more to Su Ran, Terica transford into a massive tree, drawing on the power of the elves to heal himself.

“This is troubleso, I can’t really rampage through the forest in my true form, can I?”

Su Ran’s face showed embarrassnt, knowing that her human identity was definitely going to attract hatred in this Elf Forest.

It wasn’t nearly as glorious as her skeleton form, but then what should she do about Banana?

Was it too soon to let him know her secret?

“Whoosh!”

While Su Ran was distracted, an arrow flew swiftly towards her, nailing itself directly into her shoulder blade and resulting in a burst of damage numbers.

“No good, it’s an ambush!”

Su Ran was shocked and instantly regained her focus, not bothering about the arrow that had pierced three inches into her shoulder, and commanded Wang Cai to dodge to the side.

As Wang Cai leaped away, quick as a flash, three sharp arrows landed where he had just been, quivering with feathers trembling, showing they were shot with great force.

It wasn’t until then that Su Ran could see who the attacker was, and on seeing, was rendered speechless.

The one attacking her was none other than Banana, who had just recently logged on!

Damn!

Su Ran was about to speak out to stop him when a thought struck her, and the idea of playing a prank on Banana sprang to mind.

Knowing that she was riding Wang Cai, this kid still dared to ambush her, she couldn’t forgive him easily; it was better to tease him a bit first!

Once she had made up her mind, Su Ran used Wang Cai’s extre speed to easily dodge the incoming arrows while directing her Undead centipede and the Dark Bone Lion to surround Banana.

“Damn it, how can this Undead skeleton dodge so quickly!”

Banana had just logged in and saw the skeleton riding on the dog, which puzzled him because the dog looked incredibly familiar, almost identical to Overturning Water’s beast!

However, Banana didn’t see Spilt Water Can’t Be Regained online in the friends interface, which ant this skeleton must be a random event BOSS, likely to drop top-notch equipnt!

This was certainly a rare opportunity!

With imnse excitent, Banana aid at the strange skeleton, shooting without hesitation.

But to Banana’s surprise, once his arrow hit, he could no longer attack the skeleton.

Moreover, a centipede and a bone lion erged from both sides, attacking him from all directions.

Wait a second.

Why do these two pets also look so familiar?

Could it be…

As Banana’s mind wandered, before he could even react, he was stunned on the spot by the Dark Bone Lion’s Lion’s Roar.

When he ca to, he was horrified to find that his limbs had been firmly pinned to the ground by the Dark Bone Lion, unable to move.

The Undead centipede’s slender body coiled around Banana’s neck, making his skin crawl, and he didn’t dare to move an inch.

Seeing this, Su Ran knew that the joke must co to an end, or else Banana would truly lose his mind.

But just as Su Ran decided to have the Dark Bone Lion release Banana, an unexpected event occurred.
