Imdiately after, he entrusted the task of crafting a catapult to the Architectural Grandmaster, Lu Yue. Once the catapult is completed, the territory will have an additional layer of defense.
With the selfless help from Brother Green Hat, Skeleton Village underwent a leap in progress, its city walls’ defenses significantly increased, six new towers were added, and all six Skeleton Archers were upgraded to level 50. Now, with an additional catapult and Sky-reaching Vine, Five-clawed Bone Dragon King, and Ghost King Drought Fiend all in evolution, once fully evolved, and with the Demon Sovereign personally overseeing, even if the Human Emperor leads an army to attack, it won’t be easy to conquer this tough nut!
Even if the Ghost Clan resurfaces, he is confident in blasting them away, establishing a stronghold amid chaos that the Three Realms of Gods, Demons, and Ghosts cannot ignore!
Now that Han Siyu and Zhang ng have been rescued, Su Ran hopes these two will join forces again to attack his territory. He really wants to see how violent the six Skeleton Archers will be when they fight together, plus the catapult, just thinking about it is exciting!
With the territory as his backing, Su Ran was full of confidence. Even if the ghost realm map were to be unlocked, there was nothing to worry about. The next step was to submit the mission and obtain the precious Dream-seeking Mirror!
"I don’t know where the other piece of the magic mirror is; I should finish the Heavenly Demon Order mission first!"
Su Ran glanced at the task interface but found no clues. The Demon Sovereign hadn’t given any hints about the other piece of the magic mirror; he’d have to rely on fate. After all, this is a task issued by the Sovereign, the difficulty can’t be too low, and since there’s no ti limit, there’s no rush.
This Dream-seeking Mirror task was obtained from the Demon General Ben Valley. Although Ben Valley is only a minor demon general, Su Ran always felt that this NPC was unusual. Even if there was no solid evidence, he once heard Ben Valley ntion that the Heavenly Demon Order belonged to him.
From this, it’s evident that Ben Valley’s identity is quite significant.
If he could persuade Ben Valley to join his territory, how great would that be? He’s a talented individual who hasn’t found his place yet, and his territory needed such talent!
But just as he was heading to the demon realm, a friend ssage notification popped up. Upon opening it, he saw it was from Sister Wan’er.
"Little Ran, are you there?"
"Sister Wan’er, are you hiding sothing from ?"
Although Sister Wan’er explained everything clearly, Su Ran felt there was more to the story. This feeling was becoming increasingly strong, and he couldn’t be at ease without getting to the bottom of it.
"What could I be hiding from you? Stop being so suspicious,"
the smooth-talker replied, with a playful scold and then, in a serious tone said, "But I do have sothing I need to ask you. It’s not urgent; think it over and let know."
"What is it? You’re making it sound very serious..."
Su Ran felt sothing was off. If it involved negotiating with Elder Yin, he’d prefer offending Elder Yin rather than becoming a national experint.
"My dad wants to et you; it’ll be easier to talk face to face. He has so local authority, should be able to help you."
"Is your uncle representing the country, or just himself?"
This needed clarification because different starting points would require different attitudes.
"He... well, not the country. It’s up to you whether you co or not, no big deal if you don’t."
The smooth-talker’s voice carried an unusual shyness, the reason for which Su Ran couldn’t fathom.
"With things so tense now, I can’t return to Changshi. We can’t expect Uncle to co here either, can we? How about we et in the ga? It’s convenient for both parties. What do you think, Sister Wan’er?"
Su Ran ca up with a compromise, which seed the most secure for him.
"But... wouldn’t that expose your identity?"
The smooth-talker hesitated slightly, considering Su Ran’s perspective. She understood the importance of Su Ran’s Human Race identity. If his true Undead identity were fully exposed, wouldn’t he beco the target of all players’ attacks?
She didn’t want to see Su Ran in such a plight; eting in the ga was too risky; this idea was inadvisable.
"Uncle isn’t an outsider, it’s fine."
If this were three hours ago, he wouldn’t have dared to ss around with his identity. But now, with the territory established, even if his identity were exposed, he had the courage to take on the world.
"But if he finds out you’re Spilt Water Can’t Be Regained, he might use your identity for things..."
The smooth-talker didn’t want Su Ran to take this risk and hurriedly said, "Little Ran, your Human Race identity is your greatest secret; it must not be exposed! I disagree!"
