"This is the morial of the Evil Deity."

Dry Demon did not hide anything and said with a heavy tone, "The Evil Deity... is no longer here either."

"My condolences, senior."

Su Ran was correct; the Evil Deity was indeed gone. He cautiously asked, "Do you know if there are any other Demon Sovereigns in the Sky Demon Domain?"

"About others, I don’t know."

Dry Demon picked up the morial and said to Su Ran, "Don’t rush to leave, you still have a chance."

"What?"

Su Ran was taken aback by this, "Everyone’s gone; where’s my chance? You can’t possibly want to rob graves, right? Although I’m quite good at digging graves, I can’t go digging the grave of the Sovereign, that’s too disrespectful!"

"Undead, what are you thinking in your head, when did I ever tell you to dig graves?"

Dry Demon felt speechless, "If you dare disrespect the Sovereign, I will be the first not to spare you!"

"Then what opportunity are you talking about?"

Su Ran was puzzled. With the person gone and no tasks given, how could there even be an opportunity?

"Look at this morial; there’s no trace of the Evil Deity’s soul on it, indicating that their soul might still exist in the world and could possibly be resurrected."

Dry Demon’s face showed excitent, "The resurrection of the Sovereign would be a great blessing for the Demon World!"

"Senior, I have a question, but I’m not sure if I should ask..."

"Speak."

"How did you manage to sll the soul’s presence with your nostrils?"

Su Ran stretched his neck, opened his nostrils, and sniffed forcefully, but slled nothing. This made him very curious; if he learned this trick, gaining a hidden task would be like child’s play.

"This is a special ability of the King Class Demons, you Undead clan shouldn’t even think about it."

Dry Demon glanced at Su Ran, "Even though my body is skeletal, don’t lump with the Undead clan!"

"..."

Su Ran pouted speechlessly, feeling a strong urge to complain.

What’s wrong with the Undead clan?

Looking down on the Undead clan right in front of an Undead, you really consider yourself sothing special?!

Your Demon clan only has a better sense of sll, what’s so impressive? My can hold unlimited stuff, cut it!

If Su Ran had to choose between being a Demon or an Undead skeleton, he would still choose to be an Undead skeleton. After all, the could hold too much utility, making it impossible for him to resist!

"Undead, if you want to find clues about the Evil Deity’s soul, you must find the secret space. I guess the space is near the wooden house, search thoroughly."

"Senior, have you been here before?"

"No."

"Then how do you know the soul is in a secret space?"

Su Ran felt surprised, how could he know about the soul’s clues without having been here? That’s kind of far-fetched.

"It was written clearly on the morial, hard not to know."

Dry Demon adjusted the morial, didn’t touch the incense burner, and looked around to find the supposedly secret space.

"Um..."

Su Ran looked at the ssy symbols on the morial and felt helpless.

The fact proves how important it is to master a foreign language...

"Undead, did you find anything?"

"I feel like this bunch of keys should be useful, best to carry them."

Su Ran pointed at the bunch of keys hanging on the wall, speaking earnestly.

If the Evil Deity complained later, Dry Demon was the thief, and he’d be at most an accomplice.

"Keys?"

Dry Demon took the keys off the wall, examined them for a mont, then walked alone to the wooden house’s door, inserted a key into the lock, and with a click, locked it.

"Undead, this is just the key to the wooden house."

Dry Demon hung the keys back on the wall, continuing to search for possible hidden chanisms.

Su Ran wiped a sweat in advance; seeing keys made his heart flutter, thinking they were the Universal Key. The fact proves he was thinking too much...

He also felt that the wooden house couldn’t be as simple as it seed, there must be big secrets hidden.

After all, the system wouldn’t place a useless wooden house in such a high-level terrain. Also, when approaching the wooden house, he saw faint smoke coming from the chimney...

Wait a minute!

Su Ran’s eyes lit up, identifying the issue; there were no fireplaces or similar tools inside the wooden house!

With no fireplaces, where was the smoke coming from?

"Senior, I’ll go take a look outside!"

Su Ran didn’t wait for Dry Demon to consent, rushing out of the wooden house. As long as he figured out the chimney, the truth would surface!

Dry Demon didn’t care; he continued searching for clues about the secret space, occasionally crawling on the ground, quite dedicated.

Su Ran took a few steps through the air to the rooftop, looked down below the chimney, wanting to see where the smoke actually ca from!

"This is..."

Su Ran peering through the chimney and seeing the scene below, his expression beca sowhat odd, realizing that the smoke ca from the incense burner below.

This was awkward.

Su Ran then realized he had overlooked the incense burner on the table...

"What a bumr, I was thinking I’d find sothing new, all for nothing!"

Su Ran jumped off the rooftop in frustration and entered the wooden house again. He prepared to learn from Dry Demon, carefully searching through the house, maybe he would find a crucial clue.

"Hmm?"

When Su Ran’s gaze landed on the incense burner, he felt sothing was off but couldn’t pinpoint what it was, so he simply walked up and reached out to grab the incense burner.

However.

He grasped nothing.

The incense burner was rely a virtual illusion, his fingers touched nothing.
