"Whatever, let’s test the depth of this tombstone first!"

Su Ran stepped in front of the gray tombstone, braced her lower back, and slamd into it with her hip.

Unfortunately, it was useless. The hip’s mighty object collection ability failed once again.

"Could it be... is this tomb transparent too?"

Su Ran murmured to herself, becoming increasingly convinced of this possibility. She commanded the plague mud monster to co over, planning to have it color the tomb, making it easier to dig later.

Even from this close distance, the mud monster took over a minute to walk over. Thankfully, Su Ran was ntally prepared for it; otherwise, she would have been very anxious.

Unexpectedly, the plague mud monster circled the tombstone without encountering any obstacles. This forced her to admit her earlier thought was wrong; the tomb was not connected to the tombstone. Such occurrences were indeed rare.

As for whether the ghost tomb was hidden underground, that’s even more unlikely. Given that this area is Demon Tower space, digging down would an going to the sixth level!?

Besides, this Demon Tower is a super treasure; how could it possibly penetrate its main frawork? Su Ran instantly dismissed this unrealistic thought.

Left with no other option, she could only pin her hopes on this tombstone, hoping to find so clues.

"This is..."

Through ticulous observation, she discovered many tiny characters hidden at the bottom of the tombstone. If she weren’t paying close attention, she would have missed them.

"Card insertion slots, ritual for the deceased..."

Su Ran painstakingly identified these words. As for the other characters, she could not understand them, guessing they were Ghost Clan text.

"Cards? What kind of cards? Summoning card or skill card? Explain it clearly, will you?"

Su Ran couldn’t understand this foreign writing, so naturally, she couldn’t grasp the usage restrictions of the cards. Helpless, she chose to randomly try one, given the limited number of beast cards she had and lack of options. As long as she could activate the ghost tomb, she didn’t mind handing over all her cards!

She currently had three cards: a Puppet Card, a Bull-headed General Summoning Card, and an Enhancent Card. The attributes of these cards were quite good, and she had been reluctant to use them. Surprisingly, she now had to embed them on the tombstone, which felt like a waste.

But there’s no other choice; isolated here with nowhere to find cards, she could only use these three to make do...

Wasting them is fine as long as it lets her see the ghost tomb; then the tomb can compensate for the card loss.

In her view, the ghost tomb’s value far exceeded that of the three cards, which was why she was willing to use them.

"Strange, where’s the card slot?"

She scanned the tombstone, unable to find the card slot, and she couldn’t read the manual. She felt a bit lost on what to do next.

So, she had no choice but to personally knock on the tombstone; if this didn’t trigger a chanism, she’d be truly out of options.

Thankfully, the system didn’t make it too hard for her; after repeated knocking, the center of the tombstone caved in, forming a slot.

"Oh ghost tomb, please don’t disappoint ..."

Su Ran steadied herself and first inserted the Enhancent Card.

Yet.

The tombstone didn’t react at all, leaving her baffled. She soon realized she inserted the wrong card.

"Darn, can’t pull it out!"

Since the Enhancent Card couldn’t be used, she tried to extract the card, but unfortunately, couldn’t. It seed as though the card had grown into the tombstone. Even a shovel couldn’t retrieve it, forcing her to admit defeat.

The ghost tomb hadn’t even appeared, and she’d already lost an Enhancent Card. Who could she turn to for reason?

Oh well, my darned Ghost language isn’t good enough; serves right!

The fact proves how important it is to master a foreign language. Of course, the prerequisite is to find soone who can teach Ghost language...

As for the remaining two cards, faced with a choice, she picked the least valuable, the Bull-headed General Summoning Card. As long as she could save the Puppet Card, she’d be content.

But.

The system didn’t go easy on Su Ran. She embedded the Summoning Card but still received no reaction, making her even more annoyed. If she had known, she would’ve just embedded the Puppet Card first!

Su Ran muttered a few frustrated complaints before resigning to embed the Puppet Card, waiting for a miracle.

However, still no reaction from the tombstone.

"This..."

Only then did she realize the joke was on her...

Darn!

Su Ran’s anger flared. She worked hard for half a day, used three cards, and saw nothing. Who would accept this?!

Frustrated, she kicked the tombstone hard to vent her dissatisfaction. Surprisingly, this kick shattered the tombstone.

"Whoa, since when did my kick get so powerful?"

Su Ran looked at the now cracked tombstone and then at her foot, feeling a bit surreal, as if the ghost tomb’s owner was playing a trick. Who knows, it might pop out demanding compensation for the tombstone.

Of course, Su Ran would welco such a situation. She hadn’t been able to find the ghost tomb, and if an NPC dared ask for compensation, she’d rcilessly dig up its ghost tomb right in front of it!
