"If you have guts, don’t chase!"
The undead wouldn’t listen to the old man’s words; at this crucial, life-or-death mont, anyone who stops is a fool!
"Humans, do you think you can escape?"
With a furious shout, ng Dongni wielded a Python Cane and forcefully swung it forward, spraying out a jet of pitch-black poison aid directly at the fleeing undead.
At this mont, the undead was busy escaping for his life, with no ti to look back at what was happening behind him. The poison was spread over such a wide area that even if the undead saw it, it would be useless—he couldn’t dodge and was hit on the spot.
"Hiss..."
The undead reacted as if he had been splashed with acid, jumping up in pain. This feeling of being corroded was unbearable, but no matter how agonizing, he could only grit his teeth and continue fleeing forward. However, what he didn’t anticipate was his speed suddenly decreased, as if he was stuck in a quagmire, unable to perform at his usual level, barely faster than walking.
Dood!
The undead, having lost his speed advantage, felt as if the sky was collapsing; the inevitable outco awaited him.
"Hahaha, let’s see how you escape now!"
ng Dongni laughed harshly as he walked quickly towards the undead, the distance between them closing rapidly, raising the tension to a peak.
"Bosses, help !!!"
The undead cried out in terror, realizing now that his slowed speed was entirely due to the poison!
"I want to see who dares to help you! Whoever cos, I’ll kill! Two co, I’ll slaughter the pair!"
ng Dongni completely dismissed Su Ran and the others, attacking the undead.
"No good, the undead is in danger!"
Su Ran noticed sothing amiss and imdiately halted, shouting loudly, "Undead, co this way!"
Then, Su Ran summoned the Shield Skeletons, positioning them in front, though to this NPC, these skeletons were rely for show, looking flashy but purely to bolster Su Ran’s courage.
"Brother Overturning Water, we’ll die together, it’s no big deal! Even if I die, I won’t die a coward!"
Bei Diao stepped next to Su Ran, "I have a special talisman that can make him suffer!"
"Wow, using such a precious talisman here would be a waste, wouldn’t it?"
Su Ran knew that the more powerful the talisman, the more exorbitant its value. Moreover, these talismans are one-ti use items; once used, they’re gone. If it could kill this NPC, that’s fine. But if only to make him suffer a bit, there’s no need; it’s just superfluous!
"Money is not a problem."
"..."
Bei Diao’s four words stumped Su Ran. He simply couldn’t understand the world of the wealthy...
"Alright, I get it. At crucial monts, it’s all about financial power. Brother Bei Diao, I’ll leave this to you."
Su Ran stepped back knowingly, handing the NPC over to Bei Diao. He had more important things to do: checking what changes occurred after the Strange Demon Bone Cauldron’s evolution.
But at this mont, several teleportation waves appeared within the Ice Hell, followed by familiar figures appearing not far from Su Ran.
Leading them was a female player dressed in green, holding a Bloodfire Fan. Her face was covered with a white veil, and her smooth hair was tied back, making a striking impression.
Without a doubt, this woman was Su Ran’s next-door beautiful sister, Li Wan’er.
The dozen or so players behind her were mbers of the Singing Song guild, several of whom were familiar faces to Su Ran: the Big Smoker, Youtong, Gu Yue, Big Blood Bull, even the long-missing Nan Qiang was in this group.
"Hahahaha, Hu Hansan is back again!"
Nan Qiang entered Ice Hell and felt incredibly excited upon seeing Su Ran and the others. Seeing the undead being chased by the NPC, he rushed forward without hesitation, holding his shield to block ng Dongni.
"Boss, you ca just in ti. A bit later and you’d be collecting my corpse..."
Seeing Nan Qiang deflect the NPC’s pursuit, the undead finally relaxed, his tension easing considerably.
"Human, do you wish to die too?"
ng Dongni glared angrily at Nan Qiang, the Snake Staff in his hand glowing green again, but before he could activate the skill, Nan Qiang’s shield swung over.
"Just a mage, wanting to play lee? Isn’t this looking for abuse?"
Nan Qiang wasn’t aware of ng Dongni’s strength; in his view, no matter how impressive a mage was, up close he’s just easy prey!
But he didn’t expect that before his shield could slam onto ng Dongni’s head, it was blocked by a Protective Shield.
"Human, since you’re eager to die, let fulfill your wish!"
ng Dongni waved his staff repeatedly, releasing a poisonous mist that ford a black serpent in mid-air, slithering towards Nan Qiang.
"Cough cough cough!"
The poisonous mist enveloped Nan Qiang, making breathing difficult and causing him to cough uncontrollably, his expression turning grim.
However, he had imnse faith in his defense, facing the serpent head-on without fear; though outmatched, he wouldn’t lose swiftly!
Yet.
As the serpent collided with the shield, it exploded into a thick poisonous mist, completely trapping Nan Qiang within.
