Under the lead of Su Ran, the three of them bypassed several Sealed Lands and smoothly arrived at the eastern terrain without encountering any danger, not even from the ironworker hidden underground who caused them no trouble.
"Overturning Water brother, look below, those patterns have disappeared!"
"What?"
Su Ran instinctively looked down and, just as Big Smoker said, those patterns had indeed vanished. He curiously asked, "Check your attributes, is the health still decreasing?"
"Haha, big brother, you wouldn’t know. Ever since that Pet Egg shattered, my health has stabilized. The blood-sucking act was purely the egg’s doing. Breaking it was like revenge!"
Big Blood Bull said with a laugh, scanning the front and exclaiming lightly, "Has anyone seen the president of Xiaosheng and her group?"
"There’s a stone door on the wall ahead, they might have entered through it."
Standing high and seeing far, Su Ran was the first to notice the stone door embedded in the wall. It was in an open state, suggesting that Sister Wan’er and her group were likely inside.
But just then, a scream ca from within the stone door, heightening the nervous atmosphere.
"Not good, that’s Little Yue’s scream, they’re in trouble!"
Big Smoker was startled, his expression turned serious. Without waiting for Su Ran’s command, he quickly headed towards the stone door, "Overturning Water brother, hurry, let’s rescue them!"
"There’s danger hidden inside this stone door, we must act carefully!"
After giving his warning, Su Ran jumped down and, alongside Big Smoker, entered the stone door space.
"Hmm?"
Unexpectedly, inside the stone door was only an oval deep pit and a pile of familiar eggshells, with nothing else present.
"So these eggshells were sucked in here, it seems they’ve fallen in. Big brother, you have flying skills, go down first to scout. If it’s safe, we’ll follow you."
Big Blood Bull looked at the bottomless deep pit with so trepidation, not daring to jump in.
Yet, before Su Ran could reply, a great force struck his spine, directly kicking him into the pit.
"Not good, an ambush!"
"Damn ironworker, give back my big brother’s life!"
The whole process took less than a breath, and by the ti Big Smoker and Blood Bull reacted, it was too late. Enraged, they charged towards the ironworker behind them, shouting to avenge Overturning Water.
"Just you?"
The ironworker sneered and subrged again beneath the reflective surface, leaving their attacks to fall on empty space.
"Damn, this guy is too cunning, attacking and moving elsewhere, he doesn’t even have the courage to fight head-to-head!"
Big Blood Bull cursed, clearly unhappy with the ironworker’s evasive behavior.
"Co on, don’t provoke him anymore, even combined we’re no match for him. Stop saying useless things."
Big Smoker was the first to co to the pit’s edge, mustering his courage and looking very determined, "Blood Bull brother, we’re dead no matter what. Rather than let this ironworker tornt us, we might as well jump, maybe there’s a sliver of hope!"
"Let’s go!"
Honestly, without Big Smoker’s suggestion, Big Blood Bull himself knew this place had beco a danger zone, and they couldn’t stay long!
Thus, forced by the ironworker, they jumped down directly, with no idea what awaited them.
The ironworker erged from the ground, looked complexly at the deep pit, collected all the surrounding eggshells, ground them into powder, and sprinkled them into the pit before turning and leaving the stone door space.
The stone door slowly closed, plunging the space into complete silence and an endless darkness descended, enveloping it with fear of death, creating an oppressive atmosphere.
"Thud!"
Su Ran was thrown into the deep pit, hitting the ground hard, and fell unconscious, looking as disheveled as could be.
"Hiss..."
Soon, Su Ran regained consciousness, after feeling the sharp pain from his spine, he couldn’t help but inhale sharply and curse lowly, "This ironworker hit too hard, almost cost my life!"
As long as he wasn’t dead, everything was negotiable. Su Ran struggled to stand, grabbed a handful of grave grass and chewed it hard, his health began to climb rapidly, and even the spasms of pain from his spine diminished significantly.
But just then, two consecutive ’thuds’ sounded not far behind him, startling him.
"Oh my god, how deep is this damn pit, my legs are going to break!"
Big Smoker got up from the ground, imdiately downed a potion to replenish his lost health.
"Your legs breaking would be okay, but I landed head first..."
Big Blood Bull rubbed his head, complaining, "Luckily, I have thick skin, otherwise I’d be dead. This damn space is as tall as a three-story building, couldn’t they install an elevator?"
"Ahaha, Overturning Water brother, turns out you’re not dead, I thought I’d have to collect your corpse. Seems your life is as tough as a cockroach’s, taking such a heavy blow and falling from up there, and still full of vigor, amazing!"
Big Smoker, while replenishing his health, caught sight of Su Ran and showed an expression of delight.
Even Big Blood Bull, excited, forgot to heal and quickly ca to Su Ran’s side, venting about the ironworker’s treachery and dishonesty.
"That was a lesson, letting us brothers clearly see the true face of this NPC. Be sure to watch your back and guard against another ambush. Heal up, then let’s find Xiaosheng and her group."
Su Ran broke into a cold sweat for a mont earlier. Luckily, the ironworker didn’t pursue him. Otherwise, even with double the health, it wouldn’t be enough to survive!
"Strange, why haven’t we seen the president of Xiaosheng’s group, where on earth have they gone?"
Big Blood Bull topped up his health while scanning around, not seeing anyone and no longer hearing the cry of distress.
"They should be nearby, their blessings and fortune are great, so they won’t have any accidents."
Su Ran summoned his avatar Thunder Bat, paused briefly, and then summoned the Iron-blood Sand Puppet, chanism Divine Pig, and Darknight Thunder Dragon; of course, not missing the Skeleton Army.
Though these Death Skeletons weren’t strong, their numbers were intimidating. With twenty skeletons standing here, what player would dare provoke them?
"Big brother, you should have summoned these pets earlier, that way you could have avoided the ambush just now!"
Big Blood Bull felt much more secure seeing so many pets. Thinking back to the mont the ironworker ambushed, he felt it unjust for Su Ran.
With these pets around, there’s no need to worry about being ambushed!
"Blood Bull, you’re oversimplifying it. If I had summoned them, the ambush would’ve targeted you two instead."
Prompted by Big Blood Bull’s reminder, Su Ran realized that earlier on the upper level, he didn’t leverage his pet advantage, making the ambush deserved. Now learned, he summoned all these pets, surrounding him, and his tension eased considerably.
"That’s true. Overturning Water brother, with your realization, I’m relieved. Sacrificing yourself to save us two, this level of selflessness is worth learning from!"
After topping off his health, with an iron bar on his shoulder, Big Smoker picked a direction at random, confidently stating, "This ti I’ll lead the charge and surely find the president of Xiaosheng’s group!"
"Smoker brother, how do you know the direction?"
"Luck!"

During the banter between Big Smoker and Blood Bull, a series of "bang bang bang" noises, interspersed with chaotic footsteps, approached rapidly, clearly heading in their direction.
"Finally, so signs of anomaly, haha, it wasn’t easy!"
