153: Chapter 153: Golden Weapon 153: Chapter 153: Golden Weapon Unfortunately, just as Taciturn had managed to attract these skeletal warriors, a flaming bone wolf charged at him.

Taciturn was caught off guard and was knocked to the ground by this strange bone wolf.

He found himself surrounded by the skeleton warriors.

Their large sickles glistened under the light, showing off their sharp edges.

The sickles were rcilessly swung down directly at Taciturn!

However, the hidden and powerful Lava Bone Wolf squeezed through the gaps in the skeletal warriors and returned to Su Ran.

“Overturning Water, aren’t you afraid of your bone wolf pet betraying you when it strays so far from you?” Big Smoke Ghost asked, looking at Su Ran in surprise, seemingly finding this way of handling pets quite unbelievable.

Was this possible?

“What do you an?” Su Ran asked.

“The farther a pet is from its owner, the faster its loyalty drops, and the higher the chance it will rebel,” Big Smoke Ghost explained, his surprise growing within him.

“You have a pet, but you don’t even know that?”

Well, damn.

His pet was rely an egg!

The Lava Bone Wolf was just a clone, even if he commanded it to cross regional maps, it wouldn’t lose loyalty.

That’s how aweso it was!

“Next ti I’ll be more careful.

It didn’t rebel this ti, did it?” Su Ran laughed it off and brushed over the matter.

When he turned his attention to Taciturn, he was taken aback.

Taciturn was glowing with a brilliant golden light, like a large Buddha, and he managed to block all the attacks from the skeletal warriors.

Taciturn wasn’t hurt at all!

Invincible!

Su Ran was stunned.

Using such a ridiculous item here was a waste!

But who cared?

It wasn’t his.

Letting Taciturn waste an invincible item was sure to make him uncomfortable anyway.

As expected, Taciturn pushed past the skeletal warriors with a gloomy expression and ran towards the group of young adventurers.

The few skeleton warriors followed closely.

Suddenly, two of the warriors discharged their energy blades, directly charging towards the front-line human berserker.

Without the invincibility effect, Taciturn, who was too far from his team’s healer, dodged the incoming energy blade at the last mont and fell to the ground to avoid getting hit.

But as Taciturn was trying to quickly stand up, sothing unexpected happened.

The cunning Lava Bone Wolf appeared next to Taciturn unexpectedly.

With a powerful pounce, it knocked Taciturn to the ground.

The wolf’s sharp teeth bit into the Warrior’s back, and the flas on its body erupted.

Its four legs pushed down hard, immobilizing Taciturn under its weight.

Suddenly.

The Lava Bone Wolf leapt off Taciturn and charged into the distance.

Taciturn, now free from the weight of the wolf, attempted to quickly get up.

But due to his back pain and lack of caution, he was struck in the back by an energy blade.

Taciturn was once again slamd to the ground, with the few skeleton warriors encircling him once more.

Their scythes with chilling glows were once again swung, hacking towards the human warrior.

Without his invincible item, and too far from his team’s healer, all Taciturn could do was watch his health rapidly decrease in despair.

Soon, unable to defend against such an attack, Taciturn fell, dropping a piece of shiny gold equipnt.

“Damn, Taciturn dropped his Golden Longsword!” One of the Frost Mage players shouted, dodging the swing of a skeletal warrior’s scythe and rushing towards Taciturn’s fallen loot.

Big Smoke Ghost had his eye on the sword.

He was about to make a move, but was held back by a young adventurer.

“We shouldn’t be too greedy, let’s retreat to the second floor.

We can roam the third floor again once things have settled down!” the young adventurer suggested.

“So damn tempting!” Big Smoke Ghost remarked as he eyed the unique longsword with regret.

He knew the young adventurer was right.

This wasn’t their turf.

Allowing allies to level up here was already the biggest concession — he wouldn’t dare risk the friendly alliance between the two guilds over a player’s death.

Su Ran stayed silent, knowing it wasn’t his place to intervene.

Even though he coveted the glittering golden longsword, he had to weigh the pros and cons and ultimately give it up.

He saw the young adventurer leading the retreat to the second floor, with Big Smoke Ghost, Youtong, GuYue, and Shuxin all following suit, not wanting to be implicated.

However, just as Su Ran was about to join the retreat back to the second floor, an ice bolt suddenly shot towards him.

“Everyone else may leave, but you may not.

If you wish to go, leave your life behind!” The speaker was none other than the fallen Taciturn’s teammate, a Frost Mage.

“Boom!”

The completely unaware Su Ran was hit by the ice bolt.

Bizarrely enough, he found himself frozen…

“Are you insane?

What if it escalates and the leader blas us?

Can you handle that?” The Frost Mage’s teammate complained.

He was present at the scene too, so he had so responsibility as well!

“It’s simple.

This player hides all his information, even his na isn’t visible.

We can just label him as a person with no guild affiliation!” The Frost Mage said darkly.

Taciturn was his best friend.

Because of this mysterious player, Taciturn not only lost a special item and an invincible item but also his life at the third floor of the Demon Tower.

Most importantly, Taciturn had dropped his most valuable weapon, a Golden Longsword!

Ultimately, the main offender who killed Taciturn was this mysterious player in a black robe!

The Frost Mage continued his conversation with his teammate, but his hands didn’t stop.

In an instant, he condensed the frost elents around him and shot an Icicle skill towards the frozen Su Ran.

However, just then, a fiery figure leaped up and used its body as a shield, blocking the powerful attack for Su Ran.

“Huh?” The Frost Mage was taken aback before he chuckled, “This monster indeed guards its master.

Your struggle is futile!”

At this mont, Su Ran had thawed and was about to escape to the second floor, only to have one of the players blocking his path to the teleportation formation.

He raised his shield towards Su Ran, preparing to perform a Shield Attack.

If Su Ran dared to approach, he was sure his shield would give him a rough ti!

Seeing no hope of escape, Su Ran hardened his heart.

If they had no rcy, neither would he!

If they wouldn’t let him be, then he wouldn’t stand on ceremony for the Golden Longsword!

Su Ran swiftly evaded the Frost Mage’s Ice Bolt and began to run.

He then commanded his clone, the Lava Bone Wolf, to charge towards the area where the Golden Longsword had fallen.

“Boom!”

A magic cannonball shot towards Su Ran and hit his moving body.

Unable to dodge, Su Ran could only endure the blow.

He imdiately pulled out a Grave Grass and started chewing it in his mouth to replenish his energy.

At the sa ti, the Lava Bone Wolf rushed to where Taciturn’s Golden Longsword had fallen.

It picked up the sword and drew the attention of several skeleton warriors before charging towards the hateful Frost Mage.
