Min-jae blinked, one hand still resting over his stomach, unsure whether to laugh or panic.

Franklin continued, "First, diet. You must eat small, frequent als rich in nutrients. Lean proteins, vegetables, and fruits. Avoid overly greasy or spicy foods; they may aggravate nausea and since are you carrying more than one fetus, your case maybe be worse. Hydration is critical—water, herbal infusions, and light broths are preferable. Alcohol and any strong stimulants are strictly forbidden. Fruit wine won’t be considered as well..."

ical’s jaw tightened. "I will see to it personally that he gets what he needs." he said, tone clipped but tense, his mind already cataloging what he needed to guard, protect, and provide.

Franklin nodded. "Very good. Rest is equally important. You must not overexert yourself, my lord. Sudden movents, heavy lifting, or stress should be avoided. The body needs ti to adjust and recover from the imnse strain of pregnancy and also your fever. Gentle walking or light stretching is acceptable, but do not push yourself."

Min-jae’s lips twitched as he muttered, "I can barely keep my eyes open as it is..."

"You will need to listen to your body closely..." Franklin said, tone firm but not unkind. "Any sharp pains, dizziness, unusual swelling, or irregular pulse must be reported imdiately."

He turned to ical. "And you—your role is crucial. Protect your spouse. Ensure he eats appropriately, rests, and avoids situations that might cause him harm. Pay attention to his temperature, hydration, and overall comfort. You must also help maintain a calm environnt, as stress can directly affect him and the children. Think of yourself as both guard and caretaker."

ical’s fingers tightened at his sides, knuckles whitening. "Understood."

Franklin gave a small nod, eyes returning to Min-jae. "Lastly, I will need to conduct periodic examinations to monitor progress and ensure there are no complications. This is normal. You must allow access at all tis when necessary."

Min-jae gave a weak, slightly bewildered nod. "Periodic... examinations... right..." His voice trailed off, eyes wide and a little dazed, still not fully comprehending the reality of what was happening.

Franklin paused, giving both of them a asured glance. "Rember, this is new and unusual and since it has happened it’s no longer impossible. So with careful managent, proper care, and attention to the changes your body is undergoing, you can carry this pregnancy safely. You are not alone in this."

ical, watching Min-jae’s hand tighten instinctively over his stomach, whispered softly, "I will not leave your side. Not for a mont."

Franklin began arranging his things, when ical asked a question.

"You said it’s more than one fetus, how many are in there?"

Franklin shook his head, it was too early to determine now.

"We should be able to detect it once the pregnancy reaches the sixth month. I cannot detect it at this mont.."

Min-jae blinked, processing that quietly. His fingers flexed over his stomach again, almost as if testing the reality of the news.

"Six months... that long?" he muttered, a trace of disbelief in his voice. "I... I can’t believe this is actually happening."

ical stepped closer, his hand brushing against Min-jae’s shoulder briefly. "We’ll get through it together," he murmured, voice steady, but there was a hint of awe behind his calm tone. "No matter how many there are, we’ll face it together."

Min-jae let out a small, shaky laugh. "I... I don’t even know what to do with myself. I’m supposed to... carry babies? I..." His words trailed off as he stared down at his stomach, still unsure if it belonged to him or so strange, impossible dream.

Franklin gave a reassuring nod. "All will beco clear in ti. Your body is adapting. It will be a learning process, but with careful attention, nutrition, and rest, you will manage."

Min-jae’s lips twitched into a weak grin. "I... guess I better start learning how to eat right, huh?"

"Yes, my little glutton can’t just stuff his face anymore.."

-_-

"Stop that. That’s the first thing you could think of humph!"

ical smirked faintly, brushing a strand of hair from Min-jae’s forehead. "Well, soone has to keep you in line. Can’t have you turning into a human ball now, can we?"

Min-jae groaned, letting his head tilt back against ical’s shoulder. "I... I just want to eat everything, okay? I can’t help it..."

"You’ll get plenty, don’t worry.." ical said, voice softening, thumb brushing circles on Min-jae’s arm. "But carefully. Small als, like the physician said. And I’ll make sure it’s all safe for you."

Min-jae exhaled, letting out a shaky laugh. "I guess... I’m gonna have to listen to you now, huh?"

"Exactly.." ical replied, a hint of amusent in his tone. "And you better like it. I’m not letting you overdo anything."

Min-jae glanced down at his stomach again, fingers resting lightly over the swell he still barely understood. "I... can’t believe... I’m really gonna do this. Carry... babies..." His voice wavered, excitent and nerves tangled together.

"You’ll do amazing.." ical said, leaning closer so their foreheads touched. "I’ll be here every step. You won’t have to face any of it alone."

Min-jae’s lips curled into a tired but genuine smile. "Don’t ever leave , okay? Not for a second."

"I won’t.." ical promised, tightening his hold. "Not for a second."

For a long mont, they just stayed like that, silent except for Min-jae’s shallow breaths and the quiet thrum of life inside him that both of them felt but didn’t fully understand yet.

Just a few months ago they had joked about having a children, now they were really having children.

It felt surreal.

Then ical pulled back slightly, smirking.

"But you better start practicing being a little less of a glutton, or the babies are going to have a bigger appetite than you."

Min-jae chuckled weakly, shaking his head. "We’ll see about that... I think they’ll take after you."

ical’s grin softened into sothing warr, almost tender. "Then I guess we’re in trouble together."

Min-jae reached up, gripping ical’s hand, holding it over his stomach. "Good... don’t let go."

"Never.." ical whispered, leaning down to press a soft kiss to Min-jae’s temple. "Never."

ical frowned suddenly and leaned closer, his expression tightening. "Kaizar, do you sll that?"

Min-jae looked up at him, confused. "Sll what?"

"You..." ical said without hesitation. "You sll sweet, like ripe peaches."

Min-jae blinked, then frowned. "That’s ridiculous."

"I’m serious."

Min-jae paused, inhaled slowly, then stiffened. "Wait." He frowned harder. "There is a sll." He glanced at ical, unsettled. "And you sll different too. Like a forest in spring."

They stared at each other, the air between them thick and unfamiliar.

Before either of them could speak again, there was a knock at the door.

"I need to talk to you both.." Yura said as she stepped inside and shut the door behind her.

Min-jae sighed. "Why does that sound ominous."

Yura crossed her arms, studying them carefully before nodding to herself. "First of all, congratulations. You’re having a baby..."

-_-

How did she know about it so soon? They hadn’t even left the room.

"How did you..."

Yura pinched her nose, their ignorance was going to kill her with the way their pheromones filled the room.

"I guess you haven’t noticed but currently your pheromones are all over the place. Oppa yours sll like peaches and his slls like spring. And pheromones in this setting are presentation of one thing. A secondary gender.."

-_-

-_-

No!

No!

Min-jae nearly got up from the bed, he hoped Yura wasn’t about to say the one thing on his mind.

"Don’t..."

-_-

"My dear oppa you presented as an oga, the intense fever you suffered from was as a result of your transition paired with your pregnancy and you wouldn’t have been able to conceive if your lovely husband wasn’t an alpha."

-_-

Min-jae sighed he didn’t think the novel’s next route would be Ogaverse.

How did it even happen??

"Vanadis also suffered the sa fever but his only last a week. And I’ve also confird that Odysseus, Saar and myself are also Alphas..."

Min-jae sighed, becoming actually made the pregnancy make sense.

He guessed things were going to be different now.

"How did you even know all these." Min-jae paused then shook his head "Actually I don’t want to know.."

Yura chuckled.

"You have to worry about your rut now, his my brother is pregnancy he won’t be getting his heat but you definitely will. And we can’t predict when it will happen. You’ll need a partner when the ti cos. I believe you and my brother will sort that out. So I’ll be taking my leave now.."

The room fell quiet after Yura’s words.

Min‑jae stared at the door long after it closed behind her.

"...She really just dropped that and left.." he muttered.

Min-jae sighed and relaxed on the bed. No use thinking too much.

The deed was done.

But did she just say ical would have to find a partner?

-_-

That is unacceptable.
