Chapter 650: Chapter 507: Suppression from Blood River, Big Trouble!_2
Boom!
In the midst of a resounding noise that shook the mountains,
flas erupted, and those gigantic teors slamd into the ground, creating craters.
A mont later, as the howling gale dispersed the dust, those “teors” that had been launched from the warships, turned out to be chanical claws over ten ters tall.
With the turning of internal gears, the cabin doors opened outward.
One by one, warriors wearing dark red tallic armor, with crowns of slaughter on their heads, walked out with an overwhelming aura.
Kane was certainly among them.
He was simply clad in a rough Brass breastplate.
Without any lining, his scar-covered arms were directly exposed to the air.
Yet his stature seed whole dinsions larger than the fully-ard warriors around him, emitting an incredible oppressive force from top to bottom.
He looked around at the environnt, then nodded slightly, issuing commands.
The surrounding warriors imdiately sprang into action.
So were responsible for scouting, while others began to seek out the weak points of the barrier walls and released their Demon Hounds. As a Trialist selected by Blood River, Kane held so of the Blood River Authority in his hands. He was able to dominate and even modify so weaker Demons to a certain extent.
These Demons were even more efficient at breaching the barrier walls than the mole Demons of Li Hongxiu.
Of course, Su Heng could achieve a similar effect.
However, he was very wary of the Authority of Blood River and, lacking the relevant knowledge, never thought of developing in a similar direction.
The Demon Hounds began their work under the coercion of the warriors, with sounds of howling intermingling with the whipping of leather whips.
Tariq sniffed hard and walked to Kane’s side, “Boss, looks like we’re in luck.”
“Of course, we’re sheltered by Blood River.” A rare smile appeared on Kane’s face. He took out a cigar from his chest, lit it with Ignite, and took a deep puff. After a long while, a pale blue smoke slowly erged from his lips. After snuffing out the ember of the cigar, he lowered his voice, “I don’t know why, but I keep having this bad premonition.”
“For a Mythical Battlefield, this place is too quiet. It feels as if it has been deliberately cleared, which seems rather odd.”
“Really? I didn’t feel that way.”
As the buzzing of nails resounded, the corner of Tariq’s mouth involuntarily twitched.
But he still squeezed out a smile and said, “Boss, you’re always so sentintal, it doesn’t seem like you’re one of us.”
“If we weren’t so cautious, we would have been wiped out countless tis back in the Federation Era,” Kane chuckled.
Scratching his head, Tariq replied, “That’s also true.”
Boom!
At this mont, an explosion sounded from the barrier wall ahead.
A hole, about half the height of a man, was forcibly opened, and strands of black mist seeped out from within.
The person in charge of this task turned around, one hand holding a heavy chain, the other waving at Kane while shouting, “Boss, the task you assigned to us is completed. Give the orders quickly, I can hardly wait to——”
Bang!
He didn’t get to finish his sentence.
Roar!
A massive and horrific black hand, veins bulging with muscles, suddenly struck from behind.
It forcefully pressed down on the person in charge.
His fully-ard armor was as fragile as an eggshell in the claws of this monster. With a forceful squeeze of the fingers, a loud crash, and it shattered. The frail flesh inside was twisted into a ss in an instant, and viscous blood shot out from between the fingers, splashing all over the faces and bodies of those nearby.
Crack!
Then another loud noise was heard.
The semi-transparent barrier wall trembled violently, cracks spreading.
And then it burst open, and amidst the scattered smoke, a monster over five ters tall with explosive muscles roared into view.
Hisss——
Kane’s eyebrows jumped fiercely, his expression gloomy.
The warriors, seeing one of their own killed, were excited and roared with rage.
Without waiting for Kane’s orders, they swung their axes, as big as millstones, at the monster. Even the Demon Hounds responsible for tunneling through the barrier wall were so excited that they wagged their tails and gasped for air, breaking free from the chains binding them and leaping forward, baring their bloody maws to bite at the monster’s limbs and thighs.
In an instant, the battlefield was in chaos.
Blood and bone splattered everywhere.
Several warriors with collapsed chests were sent flying by the imnse force and landed heavily on the ground.
And that muscle monster that had suddenly burst forth was also hacked to the ground, lying in a pool of blood, its body devoid of intact skin.
“Looks like we’ve co to work hard this ti. Who would have thought that in this remote corner, we would encounter such formidable opponents,” Tariq had also charged forward, his bloody Chainsaw Axe reflecting his recent brave actions. Grinning broadly, his face was alight with excitent, and the tattoo finally quieted down sowhat, rewarding him for his bravery.
“This is no ordinary Demon.” Kane’s face was as dark as if water could drip from it.
Though he often wore a grim expression, it was seldom as grim as now. Even the wildest Butcher in the fight club sensed that sothing was amiss. Kane strode forward, clearing a path through the blood-stained warriors. He crouched down, touched the everted wounds with his fingers, feeling the slight sting of blood corroding his skin, and the familiar power contained within.
