When Ron landed on Punk Hazard, the island had yet to beco the frozen inferno it would later be, scarred by the battle between Akainu and Aokiji.
The mont his feet touched the ground, a familiar voice echoed in his mind.
[Ding! Detected that the host has arrived at a valid sign-in location. Would you like to sign in?]
Ron responded telepathically while striding toward the location where the Dyna Stones were hidden.
The surrounding toxic gas had no chance to approach him—his repelling force kept it at bay, forming an invisible barrier around his body.
[Ding! Sign-in complete. You have received the following rewards:
– Vitality 10
– Demon's Extract: Essence of the Demon]
[Demon's Extract – A legendary Teigu created from the blood of a super-dangerous species that road the extre northern lands of another world. Only those acknowledged by this Teigu can wield its imnse power to generate and control ice.]
Ron's eyes flickered with intrigue.
"Demon's Extract from Aka ga Kill!... Esdeath's weapon, huh?"
However, now wasn't the ti to experint with it.
His priority was eliminating the threat of the Dyna Stones.
...
Upon reaching the location where the Dyna Stones were stored, Ron imdiately spotted the neatly placed glass containers embedded into the recesses of the wall.
The mont he saw them, his brows furrowed.
Sothing felt... off.
"This setup is too stable... Even if the entire island were hit by a powerful tremor, these Dyna Stones wouldn't fall and shatter. So how exactly does the World Governnt plan to detonate them?"
Then—
A glimr of foresight flashed through Ron's deep blue eyes.
Like a sequence of images projected onto a screen, he caught a glimpse of the future using his advanced Observation Haki.
His gaze shifted toward the wall ahead, eyes narrowing.
"So that's their plan..."
"Heh, the World Governnt truly excels in underhanded sches."
Reaching out, Ron extended his hand toward one of the Dyna Stones.
And at that precise mont—
The wall behind the containers shifted.
As if a hidden portal had been silently opened from within, a hand shot out from the space beyond, moving at lightning speed toward the Dyna Stone.
Just as the intruder's fingers were about to snatch the explosive weapon—
Swoosh!
A brilliant glow flickered in Ron's azure eyes.
A trendous force erupted from his palm, yanking the Dyna Stone directly into his grasp.
"W-What?!"
A stunned voice echoed from within the space beyond the portal.
Without hesitation, Ron reached out again—
Boom!
A powerful suction force erupted from his hand, dragging the unseen figure out from the portal and into the open.
Ron's fingers tightened around the intruder's throat, effortlessly lifting him off the ground.
As he got a clear look at the man's distinct bull-horn hairstyle, recognition flashed through his mind.
"A CP9 agent, huh?"
A smirk tugged at Ron's lips.
So this was the World Governnt's plan.
They had planted Bruno, the Door-Door Fruit user, to hide the Dyna Stones within an interdinsional space. His ability made it impossible for anyone to detect their presence.
The idea was to wait until Ron and Kaido's forces gathered on the island, then detonate the Dyna Stones in a single, devastating strike—obliterating them in one fell swoop.
And Bruno?
He could simply retreat into his pocket dinsion and avoid the explosion entirely.
It was a flawless plan.
Too bad...
Bruno never expected Ron to arrive ahead of schedule.
Never expected him to discover the hidden stockpile.
And now, watching Ron seize the Dyna Stones, Bruno knew his mission had failed.
He clenched his teeth, his face twisted with unwillingness.
Then, without hesitation—
He shut his eyes and prepared to et his end.
"Bruno?"
Hearing his na co from Ron's mouth, Bruno's eyes snapped open in shock. He stared at Ron with fear and disbelief.
"W-Why do you know my na?!"
Ron gazed at the terrified CP9 agent in his grasp and smirked playfully.
"Because I'm friends with Lucci."
Bruno's eyes widened to their limits.
"Chief Lucci?! That's impossible! There's no way Chief Lucci would ever be friends with soone trying to overthrow the World Governnt!"
"Is that so...?"
Ron chuckled, his expression carrying an amused, almost cryptic undertone.
Just monts ago, an idea had ford in his mind—one that was far too entertaining to pass up.
A plan that would completely backfire on CP0 and the World Governnt, making them suffer an unexpected and humiliating loss.
"W-What are you planning?!"
Bruno's unease deepened as he watched Ron's smile.
The grin sent chills down his spine, as if he were staring into the eyes of a devil.
Ron lifted the Dyna Stone in his other hand and gave Bruno a friendly smile.
"I want you to deliver these to the World Governnt for , Bruno."
Bruno's eyes nearly popped out of his skull.
Before he could protest—
CRACK!
Ron tightened his grip. Bruno's consciousness faded instantly as he was knocked out cold.
Then, channeling the power of his Tenseigan, Ron ford a glowing green chakra sphere in his palm.
Without hesitation, he pressed it against Bruno's body, embedding it within him.
When Bruno's eyes reopened—
They were blank.
Lifeless.
His mind was no longer his own.
Ron's Tenseigan Genjutsu had taken complete control of him.
...
That sa day.
Under Ron's command, Bruno left Punk Hazard through a hidden passage, carrying a massive quantity of Dyna Stones with him.
A stealth submarine picked him up, swiftly transporting him across the sea.
...
That very night.
In the New World, on a mid-sized island under the direct control of the World Governnt—
A cataclysmic explosion shattered the silence.
BOOOOM!!!
A blinding inferno erupted, illuminating the entire sea.
The blast wiped the island off the map.
This wasn't just any island.
It was ho to a Marine Base and the New World headquarters for CP1 through CP9!
The entire facility was annihilated in an instant.
No survivors.
The World Governnt's elite intelligence division—reduced to ashes.
...
The investigation quickly confird the cause of the explosion—
Dyna Stones.
And the one who delivered them?
CP9's Bruno.
CP0 wasted no ti in reaching a verdict.
To them, the evidence was clear—Bruno had betrayed the World Governnt.
An act of treason so severe that the Five Elders themselves were furious beyond asure.
Their wrath knew no bounds.
And in the chaos that followed—
Lucci, the current Chief of CP9, was imdiately stripped of his rank.
Worse still—
The World Governnt suspected him of treason.
On charges of colluding with the enemy, Lucci was arrested and imprisoned in Mary Geoise.
...
Now locked away in a high-security cell, his wrists and ankles bound by Seastone chains, Lucci sat in eerie silence.
His cold, calculating mind raced.
Trying to understand.
Trying to grasp what the hell had just happened.
"...What did I do?"
"...What the hell happened?!"
