The figure that materialized before Sabo was Dragon.
He used Armant Haki to deflect the advanced chanical soldiers' laser attacks.
Hidden beneath his cloak, Dragon was intensely interested in the lasers' power.

"Sabo, hold them off. We'll capture the king first! Let see how these things are made," Dragon said, disappearing instantly with Soru.

He moved swiftly, reaching the palace in a flash.
The palace gates stood wide open, eerily empty and silent.
Dragon swiftly moved through the palace, eventually discovering a chanical factory-like structure in a plaza.
As he approached, Ryuya erged from a corner, his appearance altered by the Bijo Bijo no Mi to resemble King Sterry.
Dragon was shocked. He hadn't sensed Ryuya's presence at all. The sudden appearance of "Sterry" caused him to instinctively take a step back.
Ryuya, perfectly imitating Sterry's voice, said, "Aren't you the leader of the Revolutionary Army? What brings you to my palace?"
Seeing the king before him, Dragon relaxed slightly.
Perhaps his focus on the chanical factory had masked Ryuya's presence. He didn't consider this "Sterry" a threat.
He engaged in conversation. "Your Majesty, we're here to liberate your country. We understand your people suffer greatly. If you truly care for your people, surrender."
He continued, "I know this is difficult for a king, but if you hand over this technology, we'll 're-educate' you and allow you to continue ruling."
Ryuya smirked at Dragon's audacious proposal.
He saw Dragon not as a great revolutionary, but as a hypocritical figure.
"Do you think that's possible?" Ryuya asked, his gaze calm and unwavering, treating Dragon as an ordinary man.
Dragon's expression hardened. He raised his arms, Armant Haki coating his hands. He launched a powerful attack, moving so fast he left afterimages in the air.
However, Ryuya found this speed insufficient.
Without using Armant Haki, he activated the Eight Gates Formation, inhaling deeply.
He simply extended his hand, effortlessly catching Dragon's fist. Dragon's Armant Haki was rendered useless against the Eight Gates.
"Aaah!" Dragon involuntarily cried out in pain, his arm gripped with an unprecedented force.
He realized that this "Sterry" was far stronger than he'd imagined.
"You're not the sa Sterry," Dragon said, launching another attack.
"Rankyaku!"
Dragon's leg was enveloped in pure, potent energy. The air crackled with energy, bringing strong winds and obscuring the sky with dark clouds.
Ryuya remained unfazed.
"Shōko!"
Blue steam erupted from Ryuya's body as he activated the seventh gate, the Shock Gate, unleashing the advanced taijutsu technique.
He unleashed a concentrated, high-speed series of punches, compressing and then expanding the air, forming a tiger-shaped air cannon.
Roar!
The tiger-like air cannon roared with terrifying power, hurtling towards Dragon.
Crackle!
The clash of Rankyaku and Shōko produced a blinding flash and a deafening roar. Smoke filled the air.
Ryuya, using his invisible Observation Haki, locked onto Dragon's position. His fist, amplified by the Eight Gates, struck Dragon's face.
Boom!
Dragon was sent flying.
Cough! Cough!
He coughed up blood and several teeth. The wind howled, dispersing the smoke.
Dragon, wary, said, "You're not the previous king."
"No, I'm still , I just don't feel like pretending anymore," Ryuya replied, ignoring the question.
"Tell , what's your Devil Fruit ability? You've used lightning, wind... will it rain next?"
As Ryuya spoke, torrential rain began to fall. Ryuya's eyes narrowed. He appeared behind Dragon.
Dragon reacted, but it was too late.
"Since you're here, you should leave with so souvenirs.
Otherwise, people might say I'm inhospitable!"
