After the raging storm, a massive fissure remained on the ground, like a scar across the island.
Ian had long since disappeared, leaving no trace of where he had gone.
On a rocky mountain above the chasm stood a woman with green hair.
Kozuki Toki's brow was furrowed. She had co as well, and how could she not? What face did she have to not show up?
She had noticed Jozu's predicant and rushed over, wanting to take him away from Ian's influence and towards a brighter future.
But she was too slow, too late.
The woman silently shed tears. Was all of this because of her?
Because of her thirst for revenge, she had lost everything; now Jozu was dead too.
So many lives had already been lost; how many more would die?
She thought she was strong enough to sacrifice anything for revenge.
But now, it seed, that was not the case.
On one side of the island, the battlefield was chaotic.
"Hahaha! Whitebeard, are you crying?"
Kaido, swinging his iron staff with all his might, burst into laughter. "That little brat Ian did quite well! Otherwise, it wouldn't be easy to see you like this."
"What father wouldn't be saddened by the loss of his child?"
Whitebeard gently wiped away the tears streaming from the corners of his eyes. "Kaido, you're going to die!"
Suddenly, the island began to tremble.
Not only that, but the sea outside the island started to distort. The waves rose up like mountains, while other parts sank into deep basins; the entire ocean was boiling.
"Hahaha! Co on!!"
Kaido laughed maniacally as he charged forward. "If you can kill , that'd be the best!"
"Whitebeard! You're angry now!"
Above this battlefield, high in the sky, a hot air balloon floated. In the basket below, a birdman held a telescope in one hand and a transponder snail in the other, excitedly narrating the scene.
"Hahaha! Great job! Ian the Skyfire! That nickna is perfect! Even Diamond Jozu was burned to ashes by him! Whitebeard is furious!"
"But that kid was also hit directly by Whitebeard's attack; we still don't know how it will turn out."
"Overall, the final victor will depend on the outco of the battle between Kaido and Whitebeard. If Kaido loses easily, then everything will be for nothing."
"What are you doing?"
Just as the comntary was getting lively, a surprised voice suddenly ca from behind.
The birdman paused, his feathers standing on end as he turned around in shock.
"Hmm?"
He saw a dazzling figure shining with golden light, tall and imposing.
"Oh! Ian! It's Ian the Skyfire!"
The birdman exclaid joyfully, "Hahaha, are you alright? The Whitebeard Pirates are in big trouble now!"
He spoke into the Den Den Mushi in his hand, "Friends, this guy looks perfectly fine! No one in the Whitebeard Pirates can stop him now!"
"So, Morgans, what are you doing?"
Ian raised an eyebrow.
Morgans, the head of the World Economic News, how did he end up here?
Just earlier, he had been blasted away by a shockwave from Whitebeard's attack.
It was fortunate he was in his Phoenix form at the ti; otherwise, his current state would be hard to say.
Even though he transford into an untouchable fla, that blow had still sent him flying across the entire island and into the sea.
If it weren't for his ability to ignore even the ocean's restraint, he would likely have sunk to the bottom by now.
He had originally planned to find a place to rest and regain his strength, but then he saw this hot air balloon floating in the sky.
When he flew up to take a look, he found the birdman.
Could it be that he was livestreaming?
"Isn't it obvious?" Morgans shook the Den Den Mushi in his hand. "I'm here to provide a frontline update for those wanting to know about this war."
"By the way, since I ran into you,"
Morgans held the Den Den Mushi out to Ian, "Ian the Skyfire, would you mind if I conduct a short interview? The world is quite curious about you!"
So, he's a war zone broadcaster.
Ian snatched the Den Den Mushi from Morgans' hand, "I'm Ian, and I love singing, dancing, rapping, and basketball."
Then, he threw the den-den mushi out of the hot air balloon.
"Hello!"
Morgan instinctively lunged to catch the den-den mushi, but despite being a user of the Albatross Fruit, he couldn't fly. He could only watch helplessly as the den-den mushi plumted into the sea.
Before he could say anything further, Ian seized him by the neck. "So, who are your listeners? I'll decide whether to roast you based on your answer."
"…"
Morgan's body trembled slightly.
"Haha, haha, don't be so aggressive, Ian," Morgan said with a nervous laugh, treading carefully. "I have quite a few people tuning into my broadcasts— the Navy, the governnt, certain kings, and even BIG MOM, Ochoku, and those types."
His connections were indeed outrageous.
Compared to Doflamingo, he was the one who truly operated in both the light and the dark.
"Ian, I can even offer you so information," Morgan continued. "Right now, the Ochoku Pirate Crew, BIG MOM Pirate Crew, and the Navy fleet led by Admiral Sengoku are all watching this place closely."
"Huh?"
Ian was genuinely taken aback.
So many?
"Because of your presence, the Whitebeard Pirates are at a complete disadvantage. It's possible that soone might have already been stirred to take action."
