"Ian!!"
The round-headed pirate, Captain Blondie, under Whitebeard's command, scread in shock, "It's Ian the Skyfire!"
"Prepare for battle! Everyone, prepare for battle!"
The pirate dressed like a mafia mber, Pavlik, who had just been laughing and demanding they hand over their treasure, suddenly broke out in a sweat. His palms, gripping his dual pistols, were slick with moisture.
Ian!
A monster capable of rivaling Marco. Instead of following Kaido to face off against their old man, he had co after them instead?
Did this guy have no pride as a strong warrior?
He seed to forget that the monster he feared before him was only thirteen years old this year.
anwhile, the guy who looked like a walrus remained silent, charging directly into the palace through the main door, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword.
He was panting heavily, whether from fear or excitent was unclear, but his gaze was locked onto Ian.
Ian surveyed the pirates within the palace.
Finding them was surprisingly easy.
After flying through the sea for over a day, he finally caught up with these guys here.
The round-headed, neckless guy—Blondie.
The mafia-dressed guy—Pavlik.
And the walrus-like guy—Islewan.
Were these three pirate captains working together?
That was good news.
Under Whitebeard's command, there were a total of twenty-three pirate crews—originally twenty-six, but three had already been dealt with by Ian.
If these crews spread out, it wouldn't be an easy task to hunt them all down.
But if they were banded together for a brotherly conflict, it would significantly reduce the workload.
"Hahaha, anyway, we just need to take these guys down, right?!"
Yamato jumped into the hole Ian had made, excitedly drawing out her kanabo.
"Be careful, don't let your guard down."
Ian cautioned.
These pirate captains under Whitebeard were all tough custors, each with bounties exceeding one hundred million. They could certainly be considered great pirates.
"Got it!"
Yamato replied cheerfully.
As she fell, white fur began to sprout vigorously from her body.
Werewolf Yamato, here I co!
In her hands, the kanabo—Takeru 2—glimred, trailing long wisps of mist as it descended.
"It's Kaido's daughter!"
Holding twin guns, Pavlik instinctively raised his firearms, aiming at the descending Yamato. The Armant Haki enveloped his guns, solidifying the bullets within the chambers.
But then...
"Freeze for !"
An iron rod swung through the air.
White mist condensed into a wave of white energy, crashing down and swiftly engulfing the entire palace.
Everything was frozen. Inside the palace, everything—pirates, ministers, nobles, and even the king—was all encased in ice.
Ian couldn't help but smirk.
"Yamato, you need to understand one thing: we're here for a rescue, not a massacre."
But whatever, this country lacks many things, but it definitely doesn't lack people who can be kings. Isn't this job sothing even a fool could do?
In that instant of freezing, Pavlik instinctively gathered his Armant Haki, preventing his body from being frozen. Then, with a surge of Armant Haki, he broke free from the icy shackles.
The ice on his body shattered abruptly, but a dark shadow fell from above.
"Mahoroba!"
Caught off guard, Pavlik was directly smashed into the ground by Yamato's strike, his head transforming into a shattered chunk of ice.
He had instinctively tried to harden his head with Haki, but it wasn't enough. At the mont the dark head collided with the pure white iron rod, Pavlik's head was completely frozen.
"You little brat!!"
At that mont, the round-headed Blondie also broke free from his frozen state. Seeing his companion killed, he was filled with uncontrollable rage.
Despite his short and sturdy build, he displayed a cat-like agility.
His weapons were indeed reminiscent of a cat, two knives, each with two scythe-like blades, resembling the claws of so animal.
"Die for !"
Blondie swung his claws.
"Hey hey!"
Yamato smiled brightly, her slender arms tensed. "Freezing Storm!!"
In an instant, the pure white iron rod transford into a storm.
The iron staff and claws began to clash.
However, at the very mont of collision, a layer of solid ice suddenly enveloped Blondie's arms. Before he could break free from the ice, another collision struck, instantly reinforcing the icy barrier.
His expression changed dramatically.
He had no ti to react; after several collisions, his arms were completely encased in thick ice, which his Armant Haki couldn't break through!
He could only watch helplessly as the storm-like iron staff continued to batter him.
In the end, Blondie was sent flying.
He landed with his body covered in white, marred with nurous gaps.
Ian nodded lightly.
The new equipnt was indeed powerful.
These two pirate captains were relatively strong, probably on par with Squard.
However, in the face of Yamato at this mont, they were practically crushed.
Yamato grinned, turning around to face the last opponent—
"Kid!!"
With a leap, the walrus-like Islewan roared, swinging his sword toward Ian outside the palace, shouting, "Let avenge Izou!!"
Islewan was no ordinary pirate captain; he was once a mber of the Whitebeard Pirates. After gaining Whitebeard's permission, he left the crew to establish his own pirate crew!
He had a deep bond with Izou, viewing him as family!
And that family mber had died right before this kid!
So, revenge needed no further words!
Ian rely reached out his hand, effortlessly passing through the castle walls and grabbing Islewan by the body.
"Ughhh!!"
Islewan scread in agony.
In Ian's grip, his body felt as fragile as porcelain; a re exertion of strength caused his bones to tremble.
"Yamato, here!"
Ian casually tossed Islewan toward Yamato.
"Thunder Bagua!"
Yamato jumped into the air, wielding the shimring iron staff, and sent Islewan flying like a baseball, crashing through the castle and soaring into the sky, scattering a shower of sparkling shards along the way.
Ian turned to watch the pirate ascend into the sky.
That ant there were still twenty left.
That was quite a lot.
I hope Uncle King can get moving soon.
If that happens, the final battle can start earlier, and I'll have a little less to worry about.
anwhile, in the second half of the New World…
On an island flying the Whitebeard Pirates' flag…
A pitch-black figure flapped its wings and suddenly soared down.
King looked down at the small town below, his gaze cold and indifferent.
With his right hand pointed at the ground, he declared, "Fire Dragon Emperor."
A massive dragon of flas surged from his hand, expanding as it plumted, quickly transforming into a gigantic fla dragon several hundred ters long!
As the fla dragon crashed to the ground, it caused a trendous explosion, flas rising like a waterfall in reverse.
Within this expanding inferno, the fla dragon continued to roll forward, swallowing the entire town into the fiery abyss.
Seeing the town heading toward destruction, King hesitated for no longer and spread his wings to fly away; there was still much work ahead.
Not long after…
On the Moby Dick.
"Pops, this is bad!"
Vista rushed onto the deck in a panic. "King! That guy has gone to the rear! He's wreaking havoc in our territory!"
"Three towns on Barkley Island have already been destroyed, and Strawberry Island was just attacked! Everywhere that bastard goes turns into a sea of flas! At this rate, Sphinx will probably be targeted next!"
Sphinx—this was Pops's hotown!
Whitebeard's expression instantly darkened.
The pirates on deck erupted in chaos.
"Is Kaido really this despicable?"
Soone shouted in outrage.
"The pirates' battles are no less despicable! It's our fault for not seeing this coming. Damn it, has Kaido changed his style? In the past, the Beast Pirates would have charged in by now!"
Confusion was evident among so of the crew.
"Pops, what should we do now?"
Diamond Jozu asked, his brow furrowed as he looked at Whitebeard. "We can't just stand by while King takes action."
"But the Beast Pirates' counterattack has already begun," reported the fourth division captain, Thatch, his expression grave. "That brat has already made his move."
"What?"
Vista suddenly realized he must have missed sothing while answering a call.
"That brat took down Blondie and the others not long ago,"
Thatch said, his tone somber. "The news ca from the pirates who served under Blondie, who fought desperately to relay the information. We've contacted everyone, but aside from Blondie's crew, we can't reach Islewan and the others either. It's likely…"
Vista felt a rush of adrenaline flood his brain, and his fists clenched involuntarily. "That brat! He really dares to act!!"
Five pirate crews lost in such a short ti?
"Pops!"
Vista looked towards Whitebeard.
"Marco."
Whitebeard called out.
"Pops," Marco raised his head from where he was sitting at the ship's railing. "Do you want to head back?"
"Only you can make it in ti,"
Whitebeard replied. "I've lent them my flag and promised to protect them. They call 'Pops,' so now that they're in danger, I can't just stand by."
"I understand," Marco nodded earnestly. "I will defeat King and return as quickly as possible."
"Kurala-lala! You can definitely do it; you're my proud son!"
Whitebeard laughed heartily.
"And then…"
He glanced at the other children on the deck. "That brat likes to act alone, right? Let's go give him a surprise."
Whitebeard prepared to personally catch that brat.
After all, if even Marco couldn't handle him, sending other officers would be pointless.
Even sending several people at the sa ti wouldn't guarantee that they could capture that flying brat.
But then—
"Hmm!"
Whitebeard suddenly looked up.
In the sky, the clouds began to move faster.
"Gooohohoho! Newgate, it's been many years, hasn't it?!"
From within the dense clouds, a massive monster peeked out, looking down from above at the ships below.
"Kaido!!"
Vista's eyes widened in shock.
No way! Is he actually coming here at a ti like this?
Aren't they the ones in control now?
If they could just take care of him here, wouldn't everything co to an end?
Kaido really is quite brave!
