Roger's [Divine Departure] was unleashed horizontally, the blade light stretching thousands of ters, engulfing the entire Marine fleet. The terrifying force made every Marine tremble uncontrollably.
In an instant, commanders aboard the ships issued evasive orders, but maneuvering a battleship was no simple task. The fleet was densely packed, leaving no space to avoid the attack.

Beside Marine Ship 0, a white warship stood out starkly from the green Marine vessels. Atop its mainmast was not the Navy's seagull emblem.
Instead, it flew the flag of the World Governnt, bearing the words "WORLD GPVT."
On its deck, four CP0 agents in white suits and masks calmly observed the incoming slash while conversing as if nothing was amiss.
While they spoke, a burly middle-aged man in a white uniform leapt from the bow of Ship 0, charging straight at the slash.
"Garp the Hero has made his move!" muttered the CP0 agent with the smiling-crying mask. All eyes aboard the World Governnt ship turned to the white figure soaring through the air.
Charging directly toward Roger's slash was none other than the Navy's hero, Vice Admiral Garp.
In the blink of an eye, Garp reached the slash, raising both hands and grabbing it with his bare palms.
"Boom!!!!"
"Rumble!!!"
A muffled explosion erupted the mont Garp's hands t the slash. In the next second, thunder cracked across the sea, and red and black lightning shot outward, striking the ocean surface and stirring waves upon waves.
"Hahahahaha!!"
Garp burst into laughter as he clashed with the slash. After holding it off for several seconds, he lifted both arms and redirected the slash into the sky.
"Woooooom!!!"
A deep hum echoed as the slash flew upward, and a mont later, the battlefield's clouds split apart under a great force. Within the thick cloud cover, a vast clearing reached toward the heavens. The sky above was revealed to be a deep azure, free from the veil of clouds.
Garp descended slowly. Just before hitting the sea, he kicked off the air and shot back to land safely on the deck.
"Whoa! Vice Admiral Garp!"
"As expected of him, he stopped it!"
"He's amazing!"
As Garp returned, cheers erupted across the Marine fleet.
"So strong!"
"Roger the Pirate King and Garp the Hero, both of them, they're on a whole different level."
Aboard the World Governnt ship, the CP0 agents looked up at the crack in the sky and murmured, "These people... really are beyond comparison."
On the Oro Jackson, Roger's crew didn't seem surprised to see the slash blocked. Rayleigh even joked, "Well, just like you said, not easy to deal with."
"Roger, there's still so distance between us and the Marines. Why not make a run for it now?"
"Fighting Garp will go on forever."
Though Rayleigh's words showed so caution, his tone was relaxed. He leaned on the railing, his posture completely at ease.
"No, we can't just leave like this."
"I suspect the Navy has a way to track us."
"If we don't figure that out, even if we escape now, they'll catch up later."
"We'll make contact, stretch our limbs a little, and find out exactly what they're using."
"Bring the ship closer!"
"We need to have a proper conversation with the Navy!"
Roger pointed his long blade toward the Marine fleet and shouted loudly. Not long after, the Oro Jackson adjusted its course and charged straight toward the Navy.
From afar, the Marines tensed up again. Cannonballs fired wildly at the Roger Pirates, as if they were free. But clearly, these attacks were ineffective against them.
"They're coming straight to us."
"Well then, let's settle this once and for all, Roger," Garp muttered as he watched the Oro Jackson draw closer. For once, the smile on his face faded.
Just as the two sides were about to clash, a green-hulled Navy warship suddenly appeared several hundred ters behind the fleet.
Its sudden arrival caught the attention of both sides.
"Report! A warship has appeared at our rear. It's flying the G-ICE flag and rapidly approaching the fleet."
From the lookout of Ship 0 ca the alert. Hearing this, Sengoku and Garp exchanged glances. Sengoku looked puzzled, but Garp casually picked his nose with his pinky and said,
"That kid Yoriichi contacted recently. They ran into a child abduction case in Migo Town and needed CP intelligence support."

Garp turned to glance at the lone warship in the rear. After confirming the G-ICE flag, he paid it no further attention and refocused on the Roger Pirates.
By now, the Oro Jackson had reached the center of the Marine fleet, its speed still unchecked. Several figures leapt from its deck and landed on Ship 0.
Leading them was the Pirate King, Roger.
As soon as he landed, Roger shouted, "Hey, Garp, how did you find us?"
"Hahahaha!" Garp responded only with laughter. In the next mont, he disappeared from view.
Then, he reappeared right in front of Roger, fist swinging down toward Roger's head. Roger raised his blade to block, and with a clash of tal, Rayleigh and the others charged at the Marines.
The officers behind Sengoku also rushed forward, and in an instant, the deck turned into a battlefield. Roger and Rayleigh faced Garp and Sengoku, while the rest of the crew engaged the Marine officers.
The battle had just begun, but the Marines were already starting to falter. At this point, the strongest fighters aboard the Oro Jackson were Roger and First Mate Rayleigh. Kozuki Oden had already returned to Whitebeard's ship and would be taken back to Wano.
The next strongest was [Scopper Gaban]. Though he lacked Conqueror's Haki, his Armant and Observation Haki were exceptionally strong. Average officers couldn't last a single exchange with him.
With twin axes in hand, Gaban rampaged through the Marines, quickly securing the upper hand.
The Roger Pirates may not have more top-tier power than the Navy, but their average strength was higher.
Among Garp and Sengoku's forces, no one could stand against Gaban.
"Whoosh—"
As the Marines were pushed back and Garp and Sengoku couldn't spare themselves to assist, a sharp whistle pierced the air. From the sea ca a flaming red figure, wrapped in fire, soaring across hundreds of ters toward Ship 0.
Hearing the sound, Gaban imdiately turned toward it. Seeing the fireball closing in, he abandoned his current opponent and raised both axes above his head in defense.
At that mont, the fla arrived.
A red-haired youth holding a sword in both hands brought it down hard on Gaban's axes.
"Boom!!!!"
With a thunderous impact, Gaban vanished from the deck. A hole nearly three ters wide opened where he had stood.
"It's that brat!"
"Yoriichi Tsugikuni!"
As the flas faded, Roger saw the boy appear on deck. He quickly deflected Garp's attack and leapt back from the fight. Rayleigh also pulled back and stood at Roger's side.
Yoriichi Tsugikuni was no longer an unknown na. The young Marine who had severed Golden Lion Shiki's arm was now soone powerful enough to threaten Roger and Rayleigh.
