Imdiately afterward, he clasped his hands together, forming the "巳" hand seal, and said in a deep voice,
"Outer Path, Netherworld Reincarnation Jutsu."
In the Netherworld, a black vortex appeared in the sky.
Two yellow cloud-like souls suddenly seed drawn by an unseen force, breaking free from a sea of spirits and drifting toward the black vortex above.
Only when the two souls entered the vortex did it gradually shrink until it vanished.
Back in the real world,
As Chiga released the Netherworld Reincarnation, Zephyr's wife and son's remains were enveloped by a green energy. Under this energy's nourishnt, the two skeletons began to condense flesh and blood.
In a short ti, the skeletons fully transford into a woman and a small boy. Their faces flushed with color, showing no trace of death.
They lay quietly in the coffins, as if asleep.
This miraculous resurrection froze Zephyr in place as if struck by lightning. His legs instinctively stepped back two paces, and for a mont, he dared not advance.
But the process was not over yet.
The black vortex reappeared in the sky above the real world, and two yellow cloud-like souls erged from it. These were the souls of Zephyr's wife and son.
Instead of returning to their bodies, the souls drifted toward Zephyr, who remained frozen, circling around him.
From these souls, Zephyr felt a long-lost intimacy, especially from the smaller one—a deep blood connection felt in his soul.
Though they still appeared as yellow clouds, Zephyr knew their identities.
Tears stread down his face. He reached out to touch them, but his hand passed right through.
At this mont, Chiga withdrew his hand seal. He gently exhaled, amazed at the trendous chakra cost of this jutsu.
The Netherworld Reincarnation Jutsu, as its na suggests, like the Rinne Rebirth Jutsu, resurrects the dead.
It was a technique Chiga developed after acquiring the Yomi Fruit, improving upon the original Rinne Rebirth Jutsu.
As is well known, those with the Rinnegan can perform the Rinne Rebirth Jutsu but at great risk of death.
In Naruto's history, Nagato died after using this jutsu to resurrect Konoha's people. Obito also used it to resurrect Uchiha Madara under Black Zetsu's control.
Obito survived because he was once the Ten-Tails' jinchuriki, and Madara retained residual Six Paths power after being extracted from the Ten-Tails.
With Six Paths power and Hashirama cells' vitality, Obito avoided imdiate death but was still left near death.
Chiga, naturally, would not recklessly use such a lethal jutsu, which is why he sought the Yomi Fruit to perfect the Rinne Rebirth Jutsu.
The key difference between the Netherworld Reincarnation Jutsu and Rinne Rebirth Jutsu is that the forr does not cause the caster to lose their life.
It effectively performs half of the Rinne Rebirth Jutsu — reassembling the dissipated flesh of the deceased.
At the soul level, it uses the Yomi Fruit's power to summon souls directly from the Netherworld, so the King of Hell does not appear during casting.
This significantly reduces chakra consumption and avoids risking the caster's life.
This was Chiga's first ti performing the Netherworld Reincarnation, and by its effect, it was undoubtedly more powerful than the Rinne Rebirth Jutsu.
It's said Orochimaru tries to keep the Shinigami busy, but Chiga was even more ruthless — he bypassed the Shinigami entirely and simply robbed them.

The two cloud-like souls imdiately gathered around Chiga, drawn by the comforting aura he radiated.
This was due to the Netherworld's cold qi surrounding Chiga. In its natural state, it nourishes souls like a cradle.
Chiga released two wisps of the Netherworld's cold qi to envelop the souls, guiding them into the coffins.
After the souls entered their bodies, the two in the coffins suddenly opened their eyes and jumped up, rushing toward Zephyr.
"Anata!" (Husband!)
"Papa!"
Zephyr stared in disbelief at the two running to him. He had heard those familiar calls too many tis in his dreams.
Tears poured from his eyes uncontrollably. He knelt down and opened his arms.
Thud!
Zephyr's wife and son almost simultaneously threw themselves into his embrace. He held them tightly, feeling their warmth.
The iron-blooded soldier who had upheld justice all his life now broke down into heart-wrenching sobs.
His wife and son had weighed on his heart like immovable boulders, suffocating him.
So Zephyr cried, letting it all out.
Thanks to the Ox-Ox Fruit, Zephyr's cries were loud and echoed through the Marine Headquarters, filling the entire building.
Inside, Sengoku was startled by Zephyr's wails. The teacup in his hand slipped and shattered on the floor.
He rushed out of his office, wanting to see what was happening.
But soone was faster.
"Yata no Kagami!"
Buzz!
A dazzling golden light erupted from another office. A beam shot through the window — it was Kizaru, who happened to be at Headquarters.
This student, often at odds with Zephyr, was the first to rush out.
Using the incredible speed of the Glint-Glint Fruit, he flew rapidly toward Zephyr's cries.
Left behind was Kizaru's uncharacteristically urgent voice,
"Teacher Zephyr!"
Countless light particles gathered above the Marine Headquarters cetery. Kizaru appeared, looking down to see Zephyr holding two people in his arms.
Upon seeing their faces, Kizaru's brown sunglasses nearly slipped off.
He adjusted them, muttering in disbelief,
"How is this possible? Is that…!?"
Whoosh!
Chiga suddenly appeared beside Kizaru in the air. He gently patted Kizaru's shoulder and shook his head, saying,
"Let's leave this to Teacher Zephyr and his family for now."
