Chapter 359: Zephyr’s Mission and The Three Books

Looking at the serious Zephyr, Sakazuki said, "I heard Soter has fallen in love."

He did not respond directly and instead brought up Soter.

A faint smile appeared on Zephyr’s face. "Ah. That brat has grown up. He doesn’t need

to worry about him anymore.

"Just give the order, Sakazuki. My students are dying on the front lines one after another. How can I stay safely in the rear?"

Sakazuki sighed quietly in his heart, then nodded. "Then go to Whole Cake Island. Because of the recent troop split, Big Mom’s counterattacks have been very fierce, and the lower and mid-level soldiers are struggling to hold on.

"That place will beco the battlefield for the final encirclent of the pirates, and it cannot be lost. You should go there."

As he spoke, he signed a transfer order and handed it over.

Zephyr he took it, his tone firm. "Don’t worry. With

there, those pirates won’t be able to push back."

Without waiting for Morris, he turned and walked out of the office.

The room fell quiet.

Only after Zephyr had been gone for a long ti did Sakazuki look at Morris. "You also want the most dangerous position?"

Morris rolled his eyes. "Give

a break. I still want to hold my great-grandson soday. Just assign

sowhere in the middle or rear."

After speaking, he fell silent and walked to the window, looking at the small figure in the distance heading toward the port.

Sakazuki also rose from his seat and walked over to stand beside him, watching that departing figure.

Morris let out a soft sigh. "That old man has long been ready to die. He never truly moved on..."

His wife had been killed by pirates, leaving only their child alive. Over the years, Zephyr had placed all his focus on Soter, and now that the boy had grown and could stand on his own, there was nothing left for him to hold onto.

Unlike the original story, where both his wife and child were gone and he had nothing left, forcing him to devote everything to the Marines’ future, this ti was different.

Now, when Zephyr was alone, he could not help but think of his wife.

Sakazuki had ntioned Soter earlier to try to hold him back with that last thread of family. After all, the boy even had a girlfriend now, and perhaps he could one day see his grandchild.

But clearly, it had no effect.

"Maybe dying in battle is the best release for him. At least he can finally et Delia again and tell her everything about their son."

Sakazuki said nothing. Instead, he stepped forward and rested his hands on the windowsill, looking out at the vast world.

"Soon... very soon..."

All the darkness in this world would soon be brought to an end. It would all be completely cleansed.

In the New World, on Egghead Island, inside a secret laboratory above the clouds.

Whoosh!

Carlo’s figure suddenly appeared.

After greeting a few of Vegapunk’s clones in the lab, he went to find the original.

In another laboratory, Vegapunk was conducting experints on replicating Devil Fruits. The table was covered with all kinds of strange fruits of different types.

The door suddenly opened.

He turned his head and smiled. "Carlo. What is it?"

Carlo waved the three books in his hand. "Nothing important. I just ca to check the progress of the carrier for the Shroom-Shroom Fruit, and also to upload these three books into your cloud database. Plus, prepare so bound devices and copy the contents into them. They will be distributed to the Marine branches across the Four Blues."

Vegapunk showed so interest. "Oh? What books?"

He took the three books and flipped through them with curiosity.

Carlo explained with a smile, "These were written by forr Marine Admiral Zephyr and the principal of the Marine Headquarters Academy, Vice Admiral Morris. There are also so notes from Fleet Admiral Sakazuki."

Vegapunk inhaled sharply. "Hiss..."

Just those three nas alone already showed the value of these books. The chief instructor of Marine Headquarters, the academy principal, and the current Fleet Admiral made them priceless.

After skimming through them, his expression quickly turned serious.

The content was incredibly clear and easy to understand, and the structure was complete. It covered common illnesses, survival thods during disasters, and simple yet effective training thods for new recruits.

As long as soone could read, they could train into a capable all-around soldier in the shortest ti.

Vegapunk spoke in a serious tone. "These books... are they going to be released publicly?"

To be honest, releasing them was the best choice, but it also ant other forces would inevitably get them. That was not a good thing for the Marines.

Carlo nodded. "That’s right. The full versions will be uploaded to Egghead’s cloud database. As for the devices with the recorded content, they will be distributed to all Marine branches."

He paused slightly, then continued, "At the sa ti, a simplified version will be released to the world. It’s to prepare for the disasters after the final war. The Marines won’t be able to take care of the entire world, so people will have to rely on themselves as much as possible..."

* * *

The next day, the contents of the three books spread across every island outside the New World along with the newspapers.

Countless printing houses began producing simplified versions, and they were sold openly without hiding anything from the World Governnt or the Revolutionary Army. Anyone could buy them.

* * *

In the South Blue, at the Revolutionary Army Headquarters, inside a large eting room.

On the screen, the titles of the three books were displayed.

"Mariti Ergency First Aid Manual," "Sea Survival Guide," and "New Recruit Military Training Manual."

Dragon’s expression was serious. "Everyone has read them. Share your thoughts."

The leaders of each division looked at one another before one of them spoke with a firm tone.

"I suggest we follow the Marines’ example and mass produce and distribute them across the world. We don’t know their exact purpose, but the content of these books is simply too good."

For the first ti, the sea had systematic training manuals that were practical and widely applicable.

They covered first aid, survival, and military training and deploynt.

To put it plainly, books written by Zephyr and Morris, with notes from Sakazuki, were nothing less than works from military legends. They could greatly improve the survival rate and combat ability of their soldiers.

They were not arrogant enough to belittle works created by those three.

Only a fool would do that.
