As Ikki and Usopp watched the rry, Zoro suddenly appeared, leaping from the opposite bank.

"Huh? Zoro, what are you doing here? Did you hear the knocking too?" Usopp asked with surprise.

Zoro’s hand rested on the hilt of his katana. "Kuina said she sensed a soul on the ship, so I ca to check it out."

Hearing this, Ikki realized the rry’s spirit must be strong enough to be tangible.

"If that’s the case, why hasn’t it shown itself?" Ikki wondered aloud. He stepped onto the deck and called out softly, "rry, I know you can hear . Please co out."

Usopp and Zoro stared at him in confusion.

"Are you talking to the rry?" Usopp asked.

"Yeah," Ikki replied, "Rember when I told you the rry had a soul? I wasn’t joking." He gestured to the patches on the ship’s hull. "The ship itself has been repairing these!"

"As a Zanpakutō, Kuina can sense souls," he explained. "The soul she sensed is the rry’s."

Just as he finished speaking, a dolphin-like voice echoed in the minds of the entire Straw Hat crew.

"I’m sorry, everyone. I want to et you, but... I don’t want our eting to be a farewell."

As a ship spirit, the rry was fully aware of her critical state. The most important part of her structure, the keel, was cracked—a type of damage that was essentially unfixable. She knew her ti sailing with them was limited.

The rest of the crew, who had been sleeping on the riverbank, were awakened by the voice. They all hurried to the deck.

"That voice... it was really the rry," Chopper, the doctor, said in disbelief, astonished that the ship could have its own soul and life.

"What do you an, rry?" Luffy’s expression was grave. The rry was not just a ship; she was a beloved mber of the crew. He could sense the sadness in her voice.

"My keel is damaged," the rry replied helplessly. "I don’t think I can continue sailing with you for much longer."

A somber silence fell over the crew. While they had all worried about this possibility, they never expected the end to co so soon.

"If the ship is gone, will... you disappear too?" Usopp’s voice was choked with emotion.

The rry was a gift from Kaya, and she had just gained a soul. For Usopp, it felt like his closest friend was about to die.

The silence that followed confird his fears. If the ship had just been an inanimate object, its destruction might not have been so heartbreaking. But the rry had thoughts and a soul, and that changed everything.

Tears welled up in Luffy’s eyes as he turned to Ikki. The crew looked at their magical vice-captain, hoping he could find a solution.

"Ikki... you can fix this, right?" Luffy asked.

"I can’t save the hull," Ikki admitted, "but I can save the rry’s soul!"

"That’s enough!" Usopp exclaid, relief washing over his face.

Ikki looked at Usopp, thinking to himself, If I save the rry’s soul, Usopp won’t fight with Luffy over the ship.

He pulled out a blank puppet. "This is called a Yoroi," he explained. "If the rry’s soul enters it, she’ll be fine! She can even choose her own appearance."

"The appearance can be decided by all of us, of course," Ikki added.

Everyone was overjoyed that the rry could continue to live.

"Then she should be a cha man! That’s so cool!" Luffy shouted, pulling out the toy Transforr Ikki had given him.

"No way!" Nami snatched the toy. "The rry’s voice and na sound like a cute girl! She should look like a girl!"

"Shemales... are the way of life for the rry," Bon Clay declared, striking a ballet pose, only to be kicked aside by Nami.

"I think if we’re going to change, we should be perfect," Sanji chid in. "She should be a beautiful woman!"

"Hey, you perverted cook, that’s just your own fantasy!" Zoro retorted.

"What would you know, you moss-headed idiot!"

"Curly-browed fool!"

Their usual argunt ensued.

Just then, Koduck and Karoo waddled out, quacking and honking.

Chopper, serving as translator, explained, "Koduck says the rry’s figurehead is a sheep, so she should be a sheep!"

Karoo honked in agreent.

"Alright, how about this," Ikki said, "let’s let the rry decide! Her appearance should be sothing everyone can agree on."

The crew fell silent.

"Okay, rry, co out," Ikki said, placing the Yoroi in the middle of the deck. "When you co out, just put your hand on this body."

They waited. Soon, a thick fog began to swirl around the rry. From within the mist, a small child in a raincoat, holding a tiny hamr, appeared. Ikki could see her clearly now. She had no facial features, but he knew she was smiling.

The rry looked at each of her partners before gently placing her hand on the Yoroi. The puppet absorbed her hand, and the body began to change.

The 1.7-ter-tall puppet shrank to about 1.4 ters. A face with distinct features appeared, and a pair of horns, like the sheep on the rry’s bow, sprouted from her head.

Finally, the rry beca a small girl in a white dress with horns. Upon closer inspection, each crew mber could see parts of themselves reflected in her new form, from her appearance to her clothes.

Sanji’s golden hair, Zoro’s earring, Nami’s orange pinwheel tattoo, the facial features of Vivi and Robin, Luffy’s slippers, Bon Clay’s swan wings, and Chopper’s red shorts.

Nami was the first to rush forward and hug the little girl. The rest of the crew cheered.

"Let’s have a bonfire party to celebrate the rry’s new life!" Luffy shouted, raising his hands in excitent.

The crew imdiately shot down his idea. After the fighting from earlier in the day, they all needed to rest and save their energy.
