"Yeah! If a child disobeys, he should be beaten... Hmm... I agree with this!"

"A thousand reasons to discipline a child! You must clearly explain the reason before striking, to establish the father’s authority!"

"Huh? There are this many reasons to hit a kid?"

...

As Ikki landed behind Kaido, he imdiately heard him muttering to himself while flipping through a book.

After listening for a few seconds, Ikki was completely stunned.

Wait a minute... Didn’t I give him a copy of Educate Children from Childhood ?

But looking at Kaido now, it was clear that this book, in his hands, had basically beco Disciplining a Child Starts from Infancy!

Before Ikki could react, a sharp whoosh cut through the air. It was Kaido’s massive kanabo swinging straight toward him.

Although Kaido was a brute-force fighter, his Haki was extrely sharp—he had sensed Ikki’s presence the mont he arrived.

"Trying to sneak attack ?"

Kaido tucked away Educate Children from Childhood and turned to face Ikki, his expression cold and serious. But then, as he got a clear look at Ikki’s masked face, he froze.

"You... are you the boss?"

Ikki grinned. "Kaido! You still rember ?"

"Of course I do. If you hadn’t saved back then, I would’ve ended up as one of the World Governnt’s lab rats!"

Kaido lowered his kanabo, no longer seeing Ikki as a threat.

Then, with a curious expression, he asked, "Boss, I’ve been looking for you all these years, but I couldn’t find a trace of you. Where the hell have you been?"

Before Ikki could answer, Kaido suddenly pulled out Educating Children from Babyhood again.

"Also..." he grumbled, flipping through the pages. "I’ve been raising my son exactly as the book says, but he’s just getting more and more rebellious! This is terrible. How do I fix it?"

Ikki: ...

Ignoring Kaido’s first question, Ikki snatched the book from his hands and flipped through it.

A few pages in, he facepald.

He had never actually read this book before, but judging by its title, he had assud it was a proper parenting guide. He never expected it to be a full-blown how-to manual on child discipline.

No wonder Yamato turned out so rebellious...

Shaking his head, Ikki asked, "So, has Yamato started worshipping Oden yet?"

Kaido scoffed. "Worship Oden? Don’t be ridiculous! If he worships anyone, it should be —his own father!"

He spoke with complete confidence, but then sothing clicked in his mind. His expression darkened.

"Wait... Boss, how do you know my son’s na is Yamato?"

Ikki sighed. "I also know that Yamato is your daughter, not your son..."

Kaido: ...

Just then, Kaido’s n returned, having successfully captured the remnants of the defeated pirate crews.

Kaido gave the order for the prisoners to be sent to Wano’s weapons factories, while he personally led Ikki back to his stronghold.

Once they arrived at Kaido’s territory, Ikki finally t Yamato—back when she was just a child.

At this ti, Yamato was just a little girl—a small loli with white hair and two horns on her head, looking as cute as could be.

However, her face was covered in bruises, and heavy handcuffs bound her wrists. She looked downright pitiful.

"Kaido... how could you treat a little girl like this?!"

As he spoke, Ikki walked up and gently patted young Yamato’s head.

Yamato looked up at him, wide-eyed. In her experience, anyone who dared to speak to her father like that was about to get smashed into the ground.

But what she didn’t expect was that Kaido didn’t get angry at all. Instead, he took out a key and unlocked her shackles.

Completely confused, Yamato was pulled to her feet by Ikki. He then reached into his belongings, took out a book, and handed it to Kaido.

"Yamato’s seven or eight years old now. That book you were using to train her is completely useless. You should read this instead."

The title of the book was Father’s Majesty and Love.

Ikki had skimd through it earlier—it was a proper parenting guide, focused on bonding with children and earning their respect. There was no way this one could go wrong.

Just as he handed the book to Kaido, a loud gurgling sound ca from Yamato’s stomach.

"I’m so hungry..." she mumbled weakly.

Ikki’s expression darkened. "Wait a minute... you an to tell you haven’t even been feeding her properly?" He turned to glare at Kaido.

Scratching the back of his head, Kaido muttered, "The book said that to educate a child properly, you shouldn’t feed them too much..."

Ikki: ...

At that mont, he really wanted to ask the system where the hell Kaido’s last book had co from.

Shaking his head, he reached into his system space and pulled out so food. As soon as he did, Yamato lunged at it, devouring the al in record ti.

"Kaido, if you really want your child to respect you, then take that book I gave you and study it properly!"

Kaido nodded so quickly it looked like his head might fall off.

anwhile, Yamato, still eating, stared curiously at Ikki. "Uncle... who are you? How co my father actually listens to you?"

Ikki smirked. "Because I’m your dad’s boss."

As he spoke, he pulled out another book—this one was much thicker than the one he had given to Kaido.

The title was written in the One Piece world’s language, but it translated to Battle Through the Heavens.

Yamato swallowed her food and took the book. "What’s this?"

"The story of a good friend of mine. You can read it whenever you’re bored."

Yamato’s eyes lit up. She loved stories, and this book was massive—it had to be full of exciting adventures!

The reason Ikki gave Yamato Battle Through the Heavens was simple—he needed to stop her from idolizing that idiot Oden.

Yamato’s admiration for Oden didn’t just co from his strength or his ability to challenge Kaido—it largely stemd from reading Oden’s journal, which was basically his own heroic autobiography.

But in Ikki’s eyes, no matter how inspiring Oden’s diary was, it couldn’t hold a candle to the sheer excitent and passion of Chinese fantasy novels.

And as for whether the protagonist of Battle Through the Heavens was a scumbag? Please—compared to him, Oden was way more reckless and irresponsible.

With Yamato’s situation sorted, Ikki and Kaido took off, heading toward Baterilla Island.

Kaido didn’t hesitate to help his big bro Ikki. As for going up against the World Governnt? Ha! He was already doing that on a daily basis.

Transforming into a massive azure dragon, Kaido soared through the skies. Without hesitation, Ikki pressed the Rabbit Talisman against his back—giving him an instant nitrous boost as they blasted toward their destination.
