The coach was visibly shocked when he witnessed Conan's incredible foot strength.

Ikki, seeing this, smiled knowingly and muttered to himself, "As expected... wherever Conan is, there's bound to be the power of science!"

Suddenly, a roar echoed across the field.

"Who the hell kicked this ball?"

The coach snapped out of his daze and hurried over to Conan. "Why are your feet so strong?" he asked, baffled.

Conan pointed at the shoes he was wearing and explained, "These shoes enhance my foot strength!"

The coach blinked in surprise. "I knew it... I was wondering how a kid could have such power in his kicks!"

At the sa ti, the Marine captain who had been launched away returned with the football, his face dark with frustration.

"Who kicked this?" he asked in a deep, nacing voice.

The captain was an imposing figure, with long brown hair tied back into a ponytail. He stood tall, his resolute face betraying a mix of confusion and anger.

"Uh... sorry! That was my fault!" Conan said, stepping forward.

The captain froze for a mont. If an adult had been the one to hit him with a football, he could have challenged them outright and retaliated. But... it was a kid, leaving him unsure of how to react.

"Wait a second! How can a little brat like you have such powerful kicks?"

His sharp gaze shifted to Ikki, narrowing as he accused, "You must've been the one who kicked and used the kid as a shield!"

Ikki shrugged nonchalantly. "If you don't believe , just let Conan kick the ball again."

"Fine!" the captain barked.

He threw the football toward Conan, gesturing for him to kick it again. The captain wasn't just trying to confirm whether Conan was truly responsible—he also wanted to salvage his pride. After all, being launched into the air like that in front of so many onlookers had been humiliating.

Conan adjusted the reinforced button on his shoes, turned back, and gave the ball another mighty kick.

This ti, the captain was ready. Activating Tekkai, he braced himself to stop the ball.

Ikki, watching from the sidelines, sighed inwardly. He knew exactly what was about to happen.

When the thunderous football collided with the captain, the Tekkai defense shattered instantly. The force sent the Marine flying, even farther than before. This ti, he didn't just fall awkwardly—he was completely knocked out.

Ikki shook his head, having predicted the outco. "Conan's football isn't sothing you can just block," he muttered. "And to think he used Tekkai... what a mistake."

And then... nothing else.

Ikki approached the coach, who was still reeling from Conan's incredible display of foot strength, and asked, "What's the na of that iron guy?"

The coach replied, "Him? His na is Mubo... but we call him 'Iron Brother' because his Tekkai is famously tough in Marine Headquarters."

When Ikki heard the na, he almost burst out laughing.

Mubō? No wonder he always fails to defend himself! His na sounds like it ans 'can't defend.' And on top of that, he loves iron. It's no surprise he never managed to block anyone's punches in the original story.

After Conan sent Mubo flying with another kick, he habitually walked over to check the man's pulse. Once he confird Mubo was alive, he let out a sigh of relief.

Just then, a tall figure lood over Conan, casting a large shadow. A deep, authoritative voice followed.

"Kid, you've got so strong legs. Interested in training at headquarters?"

Conan looked up and found himself face-to-face with a towering man over three ters tall, with a stern, resolute expression.

"Stay... at headquarters?" Conan echoed in disbelief.

The man standing before him was none other than Akainu, one of the Marine Admirals. Akainu had noticed Conan's first kick and been intrigued, but the second kick had genuinely surprised him. After all, Conan was just a child.

At this mont, the coach, several Marines, Ikki, and even Luffy ca over.

When Akainu's sharp gaze landed on Ikki and Luffy, he scrutinized them for a mont before giving a rare nod. "Private Marines, right? You've done well."

Few people ever received praise from Akainu. But the Straw Hats had earned it this ti, having captured nurous pirates and even helped Marine bring down Crocodile.

Ikki was caught off guard by the complint. He didn't particularly like Akainu as a character—mainly because Akainu killed Ace in the original tiline—but the acknowledgnt left him speechless.

Akainu's resolute and cold deanor made him seem unapproachable, but Luffy, hearing the praise, burst out laughing without a care in the world.

As Akainu turned back to Conan, intending to ask again if he'd like to stay at Marine Headquarters, a shout rang out from a nearby training ground.

"Jeff? What's wrong with you, Jeff?!"

The familiar voice snapped Ikki's attention to the scene. He saw a Marine lying on the ground, his face darkened unnaturally. A puddle of vomit was next to him, and his chest, which had been heaving violently, began to slow. Finally, it stilled altogether.

Conan also noticed and ran over without hesitation.

Squatting next to the lifeless Marine, Conan checked his pulse and shook his head grimly. "It's too late. He's dead."

Then, pointing at the Marine's darkened face, Conan added, "It's poison!"

At that mont, Fleet Admiral Sengoku, wearing his signature glasses, arrived on the scene.

All the Marines and officers nearby snapped to attention and saluted.

Sengoku had initially co to suggest that Ikki and Luffy leave Marine Headquarters, thinking their prolonged stay could stir up trouble. But as he arrived, he was greeted by the sight of a Marine officer dying right before him.

Aokiji, Akainu, Smoker, and others quickly gathered around as well.

Seeing the motionless Marine, Aokiji furrowed his brow in thought, while Akainu scowled and roared, "Who did this? Who dares commit murder at Marine Headquarters?!"

Aokiji, ever calm, countered, "It might not be murder. Could be food poisoning or sothing similar."

His logic was sound, but Akainu wasn't one to let the situation slide. Rules were rules, and this was Marine Headquarters. If it was indeed food poisoning, Akainu wouldn't hesitate to punish the responsible chef imdiately.

As the group debated the cause of death, Sengoku's gaze stayed fixed on the corpse and Conan, who was still crouched nearby, studying both the body and the vomit.

Suddenly, a smile crept onto Conan's face.

He had figured it out.
