"Could be, it really might be! Otherwise why have the character for 'treasure'? And there's 'Sea God' too. Maybe it's treasure offered to the Sea God!!"
Ace imdiately added, a faint smile appearing on his face.
Just monts ago he was thinking he must seize any chance to show off, and now the opportunity ca so quickly.
He recognized all these characters, so explaining their aning should be simple, right?
Surely no one understands every character but doesn't know what it ans? Surely not?!
Yet, Kyle's words the next second made his face instantly fall.

Looking at the floating sake barrel before him, a slight smile curled at the corner of Kyle's mouth.

In the original story, after Luffy and the others left Water 7, they encountered a similar situation.
They also found a floating sake barrel on the sea, but that one wasn't an ordinary one; it was sothing Moria used to mark his prey.
Currently, Moria had already retreated into the Florian Triangle sea area, and they weren't very far from the Florian Triangle now.
Therefore, Kyle had reason to suspect this floating sake barrel might also be Moria's doing.
As for whether it really was or not?

Well then, after entering the Florian Triangle, they wouldn't need to search for Thriller Bark themselves; it would co to them.
Kyle had been wondering how to find Moria after entering the Florian Triangle, as the area wasn't small, and that guy Moria drifted around on Thriller Bark everywhere, like a sea drifter.
Now it was easier. They only needed to enter the Florian Triangle; the rest could be left to the proactive Moria!
Nearby, Zoro was now cursing under his breath.
Indeed, not praying to gods or worshiping Buddhas was the right call!
This Sea God harbored harmful intentions towards him!!
If only there were real gods in this world, he would have to make them test how sharp his blades were!
"Since there's no sake or dried rations inside, let's prepare so food ourselves. I'm a bit hungry."
